Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto?
by

on 26/11/2018, 03:18:10 UTC
We've seen coins goes down, and up in the market,
but since the last two days crypto stabilized,
are we going to see the coins upward or this is just a big trap for us
while rich names gathers all the good coins and left us with shitcoins in the market
what are your calls for this one i hope we share knowledges for everyone

By this time, the market should start recovering but so far, it is still declining. I bet the people who believed that the last quarter of the year is the best time to sell cryptocurrency actually sold their cryptocurrency. That's probably the reason why the price of most cryptocurrencies nowadays are so low.

Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors?
by

on 26/11/2018, 02:52:53 UTC
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.

Bounty hunters are the work force of the ICO and not the investors. They help spread the news about the token and advertise it to everyone. Investors help keep the money floating to keep the token functional and profitable. Through this, both investor and worker live harmoniously and builds the token to success.

Re: Many projects are dead?
by

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

There are projects that aren't just profitable anymore and some are just down right useless that's why some exchanges just drop them because they are a nuisance in the whole market. They make more space for upcoming high potential and much more profitable tokens in the future.

Re: Cryptocurrencies will make you rich overnight?

One investor says it's the only investment opportunity where a poor person can leverage skill and luck, and literally become a millionaire. So, do you think crypto can make us rich overnight?

It's a very rare occurrence but it can happen to anyone at any token with any amount. But for this to happen, there must be some kind of huge volume movement or even a sleight of hand from the whales that have a lot of that token. But believe me, it can happen to anyone.

Re: Don't bite more than you can chew
by

This is applicable to everyone in the crypto space, not to attempt to do more than they are capable of doing.
- For crypto traders, miners and investors, invest only what you can afford to loose. Do not invest all your money into crypto, believing that you will wake up one day to get a multiplier factor on your profit. It is either you have profit or loss.

- For bounty, participate in projects you can finish at a time. If you combine too many projects together, you might end up not getting anything reasonable from all the projects. I wonder some times when i see spreadsheets where some have 0 stake almost all through.

I agree with point 1. Never go investing in something with money you don't have and with money you're not prepared to lose. If you do, you'll end up crying your heart out. Believe me, I have been in that situation and it sucked big time. As a bounty hunter, stick to a single bounty you can dedicate your time to finish.

Re: does ethereum end?
by

Hi, friends. Ethereum looks really bad today. 200 $ lower than in September 2017, do you think it will recover with the crypto market? Or is this the end of ethereum?

The end of ethereum is not today. The price is indeed dwindling down but that does not imply that it reflects the end of ethereum. It is quite possible that people are selling off their ethereum for something better like bitcoins or alt coins with better features. Nonetheless, it's really bleak.

Yow guys, just an hour bitcoin price drop nearly $700 is this the end, or is it just taking its time to pump so hard, or will we wait a years like what happened before ?

Maybe it's preparing for another hard pump. Bitcoins usually act up during the last quarter of the year but seeing that there is still no movement to date, then I think it's time to let go some bitcoins to make actual money. Invest when the price of bitcoins start climbing again.

Re: Do you use diversification?
by
thenameisjay
on 22/11/2018, 02:49:38 UTC
For example, you have some altcoin (in my case it's Metaverse ETP) and you expect it to grow. But in a weak market, this altcoin behaves like bull and you have the opportunity now to sell it and buy an asset that looks weak in the market (for example Qash, Tierion, Nem, Odyssey or Republic Protocol) in order to get the greatest possible profit. Or leave a strong asset and wait for its further growth. What do you think about this?

I usually do this when I see that the token has grown exponentially in the days that came or if the token I have has a linear growth to which I sell the profits and then diversify them to other options. That way, I made some cash and bought it to some alt coin that could go up in price too.

Re: Future of ICO?
by

on 22/11/2018, 02:48:17 UTC
As there are hundreds of new ICO's every week but unfortunately most of them are scams atleast more than 30% of new ICO's are scam and if things go like this then people will lose trust on ICO. Kindly help me with your suggestions about filtering scammers.

Well, if you're looking into investing in ICOs, then pick out the best one with the best whitepaper. Whitepapers usually dictate the best track of the token for them. They may develop it further or they may fork it to a better token that can be forked to another better token.

Re: How can the global crisis affect crypto?

What do you think will happen to the crypto market if there is an economic crisis around the world?
This topic is very interesting for me, so I would like to hear your thoughts.

I think the global economic price will definitely affect the whole cryptocurrency system specially for those who have been in the industry for the long time. They would probably sell most of their holdings at a very cheap price to compensate for their fiat money crisis due to the effect of the global crisis.

Re: Most trusted altcoins?

Hi there are too many coins in crypto
It makes difficult to find out which one is trusted which is not
So please suggest me the name of altcoins which you will find most trusted and profitable
It helps me a lot
Thanks

Stick with the famous ones. Your reference should be the top 10 alt coins in the market today. But for me, if I were to buy an alt coin in the market that I really trust, it's going to be ethereum. Ethereum is fairly priced but it's just as demanded as bitcoins since it has a lot of alt coins to trade to.

Re: Have I joined at the wrong time?

on 21/11/2018, 05:17:19 UTC

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?

If you ask me, you have joined at the right time since every alt coin today is cheap and they're all easy to buy now with lots of exchanges compared to before when we didn't have much exchanges. If you ask me, you timed yourself in the industry well. Now go out there and get some alt coins moving!

Re: How to learn day trading?

I am tired of HODLing game and want to learn day trading. How to learn day trading and is there any free content available?

Day trading is basically watching out for the price of your token and then sell them immediately once the price starts climbing. When you get the money, buy some other alt coins with the potential to moon or spike in price and then rinse and repeat. That's how day trading works.

Re: HODLing will get you nowhere
by
thenameisjay
on 20/11/2018, 15:07:24 UTC
The past week, as I've been looking to invest in recently finished ICOs since most of their prices are way below ICO price, I noticed the same thing mentioned over and over in their telegram channels.

People screaming: HODL!!!  It will moon someday!!!!

Another one that is common: When BINANCE!?!?! If only we were on Binance!!!

This makes me laugh inside.  Crypto is not a magical place where all coins will eventually rise in value if you just hold on to them.

Most ICOs did very poorly the last 3 months.  The ones that did the worst were the ones that started in January
Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.

Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!

Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.

Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.

I agree. Holding isn't everything and it won't get you anywhere if you keep doing it without strategy. You should be able to sell at least some of your holdings to make money and then go buy some alt coins that seem to be increasing in price. Make the most of every penny you get from tokens.

Re: Panic selling! Yes or No?
by
thenameisjay
on 19/11/2018, 02:44:36 UTC
I don't comprehend anything, what's going on in the market now? I trust that the bitcoin course will settle at around $ 8k on the grounds that today I can't help suspecting that such costs won't be long, purchase individuals since that won't occur once more.  Undecided

Frenzy offering incases you don't comprehend is simply offer as only an offer. It is presently called freeze offer since financial specialists maybe are terrified that in the event that they continue holding the coin, it may continue dropping. This sort of offer is generally caused by a negative data against the coin.

How it influences the market is that much individuals start to offer and few or no one makes a request. Thus in light of the fact that there are no requests, no one requests for a purchase, the value continues jumping.  Huh   Huh   Huh

It's partially because of panic selling but what I think personally is the cause of the whole price decline is the huge price spike before. There were less people invested on cryptocurrency back in 2017 before the spike and when it began, the investors skyrocketed and then they started buying and rode the incline. When it peaked, everybody started selling until the price went below the buying price.

Re: Why not buy Ethereum
by
thenameisjay
on 19/11/2018, 02:42:24 UTC
Now I will name just three reasons why you should not buy Ethereum. Of course, you can call an almost infinite number of reasons why you should not buy airwaves, but we are not chasing after quantity, but quality. I believe that these three reasons are enough to not even think about investing in the air.

1. The ether has infinite emission.
Even if there were no other reasons, I would still not have bought Ethereum because of the endless issue. Gold will cease to be gold, if it is endlessly "printed." Did you know about this?

2. Ethereum regularly hosts hurricanes to return, for example, stolen funds and this greatly undermines the decentralization of the coin. In this way,
large investors may be wary of investing in the air because of fear of losing money.

3. The hurdles are conducted only for very large investors, for example, because of the DAO fund. If you steal even one million dollars, you probably will not get anything back. There is discrimination.

What do you think?

Now that you have said it, ethereum pricing today is so cheap, you can buy a lot nowadays. With pricing like these, you'll want to buy a lot more now since the pricing is down. Take advantage of the eth dip and buy a lot more tokens because eth has a lot of trading pairs with alt coins meaning more demand for eth.

Re: My thoughts on bounty rewards
by
thenameisjay
on 19/11/2018, 02:40:33 UTC
I still don't get the main reason why people picks on the bounty hunter that they dump their coin whenever they received them.
My question is why do you have to complain on me selling or holding, do you have to decide what a worker should do with his or her earned money as if you both share same bills.

And if possible that their are a lot of dumper which partake in a particular bounty maybe just 60% of them in a 1% share of the total supply, so someone should explain affect the market price.

You guys just have to let we hunters be and sell at our convenient time.

This is true specially for us bounty hunters. I just hate that other investors tell us when to sell and become furious because they blame us why the price is dipping. No one can tell us what to do so lay back and let us be. We decide when to sell our tokens or not so don't bother telling us what to do.

Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!

I agree. It's your responsibility to pick an ICO to invest on so it is your fault that you can be scammed or lose an investment due to a failing ICO. Do your part by researching and finding the means to invest on the ICO. Always make sure of the legitimacy of the ICO first before investing.

Re: Celebrity Endorsed Cryptocurrency

Stox: Floyd Mayweather, Luis Suarez, Liang Tian
Centra: Floyd Mayweather, DJ Khaled
Cobin Hood: Jamie Foxx.
The Game (Rapper): Paragon
Max Keiser: Maxcoin
Paris Hilton: Lydian Coin

Whats your take on celebrity endorsements with the crypto world? Do you think it actually helps? Question is how many fans actually know and care about crypto to actually invest??

I think it does. It reflects that even celebrities are into cryptocurrency therefore cryptocurrency has spread into a wide array of people including celebrities. It really helps because of the trust these people have on the technology. Their fans will definitely follow their footsteps to some degree.

Re: How will bounties do without Bounty Hunters?
by
thenameisjay
on 17/11/2018, 23:57:44 UTC
I have read many posts condemning the impatience of bounty hunters who sell off rewards as soon as it is received.
My question is, can bounties run and achieve success on their own without Hunters?

I think they can still generate attention through ads but without bounty hunters, the reach of their endorsements wouldn't be as far as using bounty hunter to spread the news. Bounty hunters are just as vital as having ads go around the internet.
