I'm trying to setup a pool on yiimp and having issue with blocknotify. Yiimp is in one server while daemon is in another server.
in server A ip: 1.1.1.1 yiimp is installed
in server B ip: 2.2.2.2 daemon is installed
Even though block is found however blocknotify doesn't seem to work, I doubt because bitcoin.conf file is in daemon's B server while actual pool script is on server A.
Here is the line I added to daemon's conf file at server B: 2.2.2.2
any idea why blocknotify isn't not working? Do I need to make any changes in above line to make blocknotify work from daemon's B server to intimate server A.
PS. I'm using Linux, Ubuntu 16.04.3

I've few questions

If I do not have a masternode, does that means i cannot solo mine? Solo mine means without pool, using my own daemon node?

Hi! Masternodes aren't required for mining or running a pool. They're a node that is run 24 hours a day and provide additional functionality to the network. For solo mining, you would still want to setup a pool. p2pool works, but you would have to configure it to interface with the Rapture daemon and if you haven't done this before then it might be a bit too complex. It would be far more straightforward (and probably more effective if you're running a single miner rather than a farm) to jump onto an existing pool, check the ANN post for pool listings. We don't have a preferred pool, but if you're mining with a single gpu then look for a pool that already has some hashing power and has recently hashed blocks.
The best exchange option is CryptoBridge: https://wallet.crypto-bridge.org/market/BRIDGE.RAP_BRIDGE.BTC
southXchange is another option and they've been reliable. Not currently steering anyone towards stocks.exchange as they've had too many issues across the board.
Also, check some of the posts here by Becca/Rapture and the pages on our website. There are a few ongoing bounties and campaigns that are another good option for getting started with Rapture. Thanks!

Masternode guides
We have two comprehensive masternode guides available now that can be used for the setup and configuration of Rapture masternodes using a Linux VPS to host the node (currently a requirement).
The first guide goes through a hot/cold wallet setup using Vultr as a VPS service (they've been a decent choice with Linux VPS's available for $2.50/month). This guide also has a Troubleshooting section that is continually being added to:

Masternode guides
We have two comprehensive masternode guides available now that can be used for the setup and configuration of Rapture masternodes using a Linux VPS to host the node (currently a requirement).
The first guide goes through a hot/cold wallet setup using Vultr as a VPS service (they've been a decent choice with Linux VPS's available for $2.50/month). This guide also has a Troubleshooting section that is continually being added to:

Regardless of which guide you use, try not to jump between guides. The first guide creates a non-root user for the node to run under, the second guide operates as root.
This means that there will be differences in paths and trying to copy and paste commands from both guides will likely lead to issues.

GoByte cannot be solo mined. You need to setup a pool yo mine it.
In other words, a masternode is a must, such as to start a pool?
