Re: SOLARIS XLR Zerocoin transactions will be enabled on 20th of January💥Masternode

Is something up with the Windows wallet? It's fully sync'd to the blockchain but my transactions/balances aren't updating. I created the wallet and then sent the coins I had in the web wallet to my software wallet once it fully sync'd. I then started mining to the same address and none of the tx are showing up in the wallet, just my initial deposit. I can see everything fine on the blockexplorer, but wallet just shows the initial tx. Any ideas?

Try tools - wallet repair - rebuild index / rescan blockchain files.

Thanks for the reply....I saw the "wallet repair" options after I posted and ran the re-sync and tx are showing up now. Will have to keep this in mind going forward as I'm guessing this is a current issue since the tools are built in. Looking forward to future releases!

Interested in one but do you know how the warranty may transfer? usually they require a receipt and if it has some other guys name on it idk how that would work

EVGA warranty is tied to the serial and not the receipt. EVGA and Gigabyte are the only companies that do this as all others require a receipt

Any chance the keccak algo can be added to your miner? Looks like only older builds support this algo unfortunately.

KECCAK IS LISTED AS A CURRENT ALGORITHM--

Is it broken?  Several algorithms use keccak is a component, are they ALL broken?  I just checked README.txt.       --scryptr

My apologies. I see it in the readme.txt, but didn't see a keccak dir nor the profile built in the ccminer config like I did with an older version of ccminer. I'll manually add the profile and go from there.

Thank you for the response! Have a good one!

Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels.

FYI for anyone wanting the SIGT mod #5 or #6 miner. I purchased this miner in haste not knowing it was Windows only. I requested a refund from sp_ immediately and never received a reply. So I'm selling mod #5 or mod #6 for $40, up to a maximum of 4 users no matter what mod is purchased. I paid $160 in fiat, so only looking to get my $160 back and nothing more.

Sale will be terminated once I get my original investment back or issued a refund.

Signatum sp-mod #6 release (31.5 MHASH 1070) - $40 - Max 4 Users
by
thesmokingman
on 13/08/2017, 17:39:13 UTC
I purchased this miner from sp_ in a hurry not knowing there wasn't a release for Linux but Windows only, so I can't use this. I asked for a refund from sp_ but was ignored, so I'm selling the miner here in an attempt to recoup the money I paid for a miner I cannot use.

I run pimpOS and my farm can be found here using krnlx ccminer mod for skunk:

https://miner.farm/farmer/554/farmstatus

At the time of purchase - .05 BTC was valued at $160 - so this thread will be closed once I reach that USD threshold as I'm only looking to get my money back.

Purchase price is $40 with a max of 4 buyers. Once payment has been received please PM me your email address so I can send you the miner asap.

If sp_ offers me a full refund, I will be happy to cancel this thread.

Screen grab to prove I have the miner.

Sp-mod #6 is 9% faster than sp-mod #3 on the gtx 1070 if you use the latest driver. (384.94) and 100% tdp. (Donate 0.05B BTC to subscribe to my private miner)
The krnlx kernel is broken if you mine on high difficulty (vardiff).  Try supernova with highend cards rigs.
You only get payed for 80% of the  hash showed in the miner.

so you're saying to fix this mine at a lower difficulty? got it....

Its probably just variances that shows the constant hashrate for the last 48 hours. Everybody is still mostly mining ETH.

Believe me there is nothing there more profitable.

Depends on hardware....

@Op - Best to do your own research as anyone with half a brain cell that's making a higher than average profit in this day and age would be shooting themselves in the foot ringing a bell to tell others where there's profit....you jumped in the game to mine, so put in your big boy/girl pants and do the research of a miner...in RL no one hands you a map and say go here and dig you'll find gold....have to do research and test drill till you strike pay dirt.

FYI

This miner has been added to pimpOS ( https://getpimp.org/shop/pimp/ ) with excellent results. I was able to hit 48MHs on 1070s before it crashed via OCs lol....I was able to achieve 27-28MH/s using no OCs.

https://miner.farm/farmer/554/farmstatus?node=315

If you're running pimpOS, just run the "pimpup" command and selection

Re: How to mine Bitcoin Cash (BCH) ?
by
thesmokingman
on 03/08/2017, 12:55:33 UTC
Short Answers

BCH can be mined.

Is there publicly available BCH miners right now?
  • Not that I'm aware of

Can my old Antminer XX work on BCH network?
  • I think this is a possibility if someone starts hacking it or bitmain comes out and releases updates to older miner software. They may even be able to do it right now with a pool.

Can I mine BCH with my GPU?
  • Yes if there is mining software out there you can find that will work but will it be profitable? Not until difficulty tanks on BCH network back to "GPU mining" days of difficulty on BTC (not likely to happen since SHA256 asics exist, SOMEONE will adapt one of the many that exist)

Will it be profitable to mine BCH?
  • This question is subjective to difficulty, price of electricity, and hashrate you can create. You will need to answer this for yourself by doing some math.

In essence the answer to "How to mine BCH" is that right now we are in a phase of "hurry up and wait" on the answers. Rest assured, once someone adapts an existing Asic to mine this network, its going to likely blow up to BTC difficulty levels from a few years ago and probably be worth less than BTC was during the same time since BCH is an "ALT" coin

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but BCC is SHA-256 algo so any existing BTC ASIC can mine it. I just blew the dust off my S5 and about to point it to one of the pools available. Just have to wait for the difficulty to correct and network moving to see if/how the dumps will go to determine profitability.

Some of the larger pools like Bitmain is talking about directing some of their hashing power to BCC to support the network. If mining BCC requires different/modified gear, I doubt it's been Dev'd that quick to allow for a network hash if 5 Peta Hashes in a couple of days...

Re: ETH: Mining speed go down in last two month ... why?
by

on 03/08/2017, 12:26:37 UTC
Hi,
i have small rig with 6 Aus Strix RX470 with moded bios.
In last time i saw that speed is lower, i check some logs and:

01.06.2017: 164MH/s
10.06.2017: 164MH/s
20.06.2017: 162MH/s
01.07.2017: 162MH/s
09.07.2017: 160MH/s
16.07.2017: 159MH/s
25.07.2017: 158MH/s
30.07.2017: 156MH/s
03.08.2017: 153MH/s

and rig is working all the time without any other problems. I use Claymore 9.1
but i try also older and newest version. For now i use Clay 9.8 and speed is 153MH/s (~25.6 per GPU but 2 month ago was ~27.3).

I was on hollidays ... so What i missed ?
Thats normal ?

AMD is preparing new drivers to fix this issue and should be available in a few weeks if not sooner.

Are these B1s or B3s? Pandaminers site has the B1s OOS listed at $2,200 (.8 BTC) and B3s in stock listed for $2,800 (1.052 BTC)

Any melted PCIe power connectors? I can pickup a brand new B3 from the manufacturer with warranty for less than you're asking and will be covered in case the miner decides to have a meltdown. So are you will to deal on the price any?

Bitmain warranty doesn't transfer with re-sale. If you're offering a warranty does that mean you are offering to create the support ticket with Bitmain, receive the part and then ship it back to the buyer?

Re: Is your local Craigslist / Kijiji flooded with GPUs ?
by
thesmokingman
on 17/07/2017, 15:56:12 UTC
Hah, I noticed a flood too. Secondhand prices sometimes still higher than retail, even though they are new in stock now.

thats bc these fools paid double the price of what gpus were worth, they cant sell at retail unless they want to lose alot

fudruckers .

central nj has 11 cards 7 1070's 4 1080 's

all overpriced and not a single 1080ti.

the op is a years long debbie down poster with hundreds of downbeat posts over the years.  he always is calling for bear markets and downer news.

Op take a month off please.  I am tired of reading all your doom and gloom posts.

The rally is coming early sept.  and if you think the one in april may and june was good wait till you all see zec at 500  thats right 500 I said it here.

the 1080 ti will rule for months to come   well into 2018.

BTW it is BTC that has crashed here 3000 to 1900 is a big ass crash.  Dead weight dinosaur  and the developers are rocking the boat due to alt coin envy.

You do have to admit his threads/posts are entertaining if not anything else lol...

We were able to pick up a few 1080 Ti GPUs for $620-630 a couple months back, now it's difficult to find any for less then $700. Thankfully, we're almost finalized with what we wanted to do this summer, so we should be fine as is until either good sales happen again, or profitability bounces back up big time.

i wasnt sold on TI's but i did buy 10 of them when 107s were clsoe to 500, i figured why buy a 1070 for 500 when i can get a ti for 670

man , these things are monsters , Zcash at 700 heck 750 with good cooling which i dont have , currently they are doing 22 mhs each on that new pumped coin

basically a 470 or 480 can do 6 mhs at max at 150 watts

If i could source good 4000 watt PSU's id be buying more 1080 tis , but I just cant find a way to power more than 3-5 on one rig withoute the server PSU's and PICOs

at 200 watt a card  or min 150 if in under power them thats over 1200 watt , so 1300 watt total system ore more

Yeah Marvell1 I moved off desktop PC's to server PSUs to power my 1080Ti rigs. A DPS-2000 works like a charm and I just grab the PICOs from Deepinthemines and breakout boards from Optimizer. No complaints here with my setup other than having to either buy the new risers with 6pin power to replace my SATA ones or sidehacks setup to power the SATA risers off the server PSUs...

Re: [ANN][CSC] ♠ CasinoCoin v3.0 ♥ 3.9 Yrs Old ♦ Windows, OSX, Linux, Android ♣
by
thesmokingman
on 15/07/2017, 14:36:38 UTC
Why not roll the coin over to a platform like Waves or another blockchain that offers child/side chains so you draw from the strength and security of the network? That's what other scrypt coins are doing that don't have enough hash to protect against a 51% attack.

New blockchain tech has come out in the 4 years since CSC was created so why not utilize it? Make CSC an ERC20 token with an ICO and allow existing holders the ability to swap coins. Create some kind of mobile app that allows people to use CSC in personal settings like card games or "other enterprises".

I hold 16k CSC and at this time and I find it hard to believe that CSC would be able to beat out other casino focused coins given all the ICO hype right now; especially given this 51% attack now. Chances are you haven't heard from more affected users as they've either forgot about the coins they held or the current price isn't worth the hassle.

I feel like someone screaming I will never get rid of my tube black and white tv (CSC), meanwhile flat screen tvs exist with color picture with better tech. Imagine a CSC smart contract where people can create their own betting pool that auto-payouts depending on a given end result. For instance a pool of who was going to win the US election; Trump or Hilary. People use their mobile app to pay the smart contract and get paid out once results are in. Also ensures the person can't run away with everyone's coins. That's just one idea....So much potential in CSC; just needs to be tapped.
