I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

just be patient and wait until the market returns to normal. and do not rush to sell the assets you currently hold.

If and when cryptocurrency finally becomes an official global currency, how do you think it will affect the global economy and the economy of each countries? Will it help improve the economy better than fiat or will it still need help from fiat?
what do you mean by official global currency? What do you mean as a payment currency?it is impossible, but if indeed bitcin is accepted globally by the whole world, of course there will be taxes on bitcoin, and obviously taxes from bitcoin can help a country's income, and that will help a country's economy a little.

Bitcoin, for now I think people are afraid to buy altcoins.they obviously don't want to waste their money, the best advice for investing now is bitcoin. that's my opinion.
Its ridiculous when you say about the lambo things, the point is not for being more consumptive to save the planets, not the contrary. The millennial should concern about long time-simple living, being more spiritual, understand about their self and be more environmentalist, not those who party everyday and spend those money to buy shit product.

Most people have lost interest investing into btc and I dont know why because BTC will come back and exceed a 100% price some days to come. Now it is down but it will revive and I strongly believe it.

Nothing more than buy or sell. There is one bitcoin ATM in my country, check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFD9DQtiivs , and its located in bali. But looks like that ATM only have buy feature and don't have sell feature, i maybe wrong but usually in here, we sell bitcoin through exchanger.
