All the scam reviews about EZBTC you read are true! I am owned 1536$ since June 2018 and I kept receiving promises of payouts by Dave and it's team since then and still no money came in! David Smilie is soon going to jail for all the people he stole from. I have lot of evidences!

Not getting LTC shares on Multipool.us
by
thierryouellet
on 06/04/2018, 20:36:54 UTC
Hi,

I've been mining for 24 hours on multipool.us on the multiports for Scrypt and I am not getting any shares for LTC. I do get shares for all other coins though. When I go to my workers, I see that it's properly mining ltc and I see my hashrate.

Anyone here ever experienced that issue?

Thanks!

While not a good situation for verge and those invested, you people realize that all companies living on the net have had to deal with hacks at some point or another right??? Verge team will learn from this I'm sure and they will fix it in short order.

The problem is not the hack, it's how the dev team reacts to it. They act like idiot basement kids that just got lucky with their shit coin.

Yes this is what I am doing right now and it works fine but I would rather pay the dev and make more money.

Hi!

Every hour, I get the following message : devfee stop mining and disconnect

I know it's because it starts mining for the dev but it makes my miner crashes and I have to reboot.

Some people said it might be my ISP or DNS blocking the dev pool.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Re: Genesis Mining Presents: sgminer-gm - with Ethereum support!

Hi,

I am having some network issues with sgminer. I have 10 rigs in my network that run sgminer and once in a while, my whole network becomes down because of one rig (it's always a random one). The switch port where is connected the rig in question starts blinking really fast and I have to either disconnect the network cable or reboot the rig to restore my whole network. I also notice that the network I/O is really high in sgminer compared to other miners. I only have this issue with sgminer as I have another farm with 20 rigs running ccminer and no network issue whatsoever.

Any thoughts?

Is here anyone who knows how to use it w/ Rx 480/470?

for me with 480s it resets the system
... the only problem is that the driver reports a wrong number of CUs. Therefore, you have to use a larger xintensity or just use rawintensity and the hashrate for those GPUs can be increased by using 2 threads per GPU.

Could you share proper values of xintensity or rawintensity for 480/470?
And is worksize of 256 correct?
TIA
worksize: 192
rawintensity (rx 470): 1916928
rawintensity (rx 480): 2156544

You should try different intensities to optimize your hash rate

Thoughts?

Hi!

Is anyone using KlausT version of ccminer under EthOS? The hashrate is far superior under Windows. I have 1210 compared to 900 for Neoscrypt.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Hi.
Does anybody was able to use it on ethermine.org and similar pools? What are the cmd parameters should be? Sgminer says that pool is down everytime Sad And Nanopool accepts the connection, but only HW errors, not any accepted share (tried with ethash and ethash-new kernels)

Please, advice...
Thanks.

Hi,

Yes I use it on Ethermine and it's working just fine. Here is the command parameter I am using with EthOS : sgminer-gm=flags -k ethash-new. I am using this pool : us1.ethermine.org:14444

If you get a lot of HW errors (more than 2 per minute per card), then lower your OC. Your hashrate is not important, check your WU value (at the top right of the screen of sgminer). It's normal that it's a bit lower than your hashrate (between 2 and 3%).

Thanks for being unhelpful, ethos is far from being a rip off. I'll wait for someone with an appropriate answer.

Hi all!

I am struggling to get the API working. I seem to have tried everything but I can't get it working, whether it's with Awesome Miner or directly in the browser. I am under EthOS using the following parameter :

sgminer-gm=flags -k ethash-new --api-listen --api-allow "W:0/0" --api-port 4028

I also tried with --api-allow "W:127.0.0.1" with and without the ""

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I am using sgminer 5.5.5 under EthOS with 8 x RX570 4GB and I was wondering if I should play with the rawintensity and worksize settings or just leave them by default? I am mining ETH only.

Thanks.

I agree that RX570/580 is very good on the LBRY when dual mining with ETH, but for me its not worth it.  Too much electricity, too much problems if you have 6+ GPUs and your electrical system is not scaled for this.
dual mine vs electricity usage Works much more efficient on nvidias. But thats my opinion. That is why I dont dual mine on my ATIs, only on my Nvidia.

example:  RX570 - single mine ether, 125Watts,  dual mine ether+lbry  goes to 180-185watts.
Nvidia 1060 stuck at 85-90 watts (with lower TDP but still efficient mining hashrate).  dual mine eth+lbry.

According to WTM, I lose about 4% of my ETH profit if I dual mine because of the electricity difference but I get about 15% more from LBRY, so 11% more profit in dual mining. I live in Canada and electricity is cheap that's why. I think I have enough power in my circuit for only 4 cards but I might have other issues like wiring and stuff. Because logically 4 cards should not make lights flash

120Volts (USA) x 15 A fuse.  1800watts.
you can safely load up to 80% which is roughly 1450 Watts.  Anything above you risk.

Do not forget that you may have other things on this fuse as well, it is not per socket, but per room or rooms.

RX580 Dual mine is power hungry and is using way too much.
Try single mining and you should be ok.

tadeus1  Right! so in your opinion it's not worth it to dual mine? I do ETH + LBRY.

Hi!

I am dual mining ETH + LBRY and it seems that my rig lacks electricity to work well. After a few minutes, lights start flashing and the rig is hashing very poorly. I don't have this issue with Sgminer.

I don't understand as I only have 8 x RX 570 4GB at 950 vlt so it should not exceed a 15A circuit. I even tried to split 4 cards on one breaker and the other 4 on another one.

Any suggestion? Thanks.
8 RX570 dual mining @.95V should draw up to 1600-1700W, 15A@110V.

Do you know what home wiring you have? Copper/Aluminium, wire gauge? Grab a power meter and check the consumption.
Lights flash because the voltage drops. It's a potential fire hazard (voltage drops, power stays the same, current increases, wires heat up).

Thank you for your answer Victorio! Wow I was not expecting it to be that high! I have no clue about the wiring unfortunately. If the voltage drops it means there could be an issue with wiring or something else with the electricity? Sorry I am kind of noob with electricity haha. But with only 4 cards on a breaker the lights should not be flashing no? I mean it should be max 850W.

Thanks.

Hi!

Thank you a lot for your miner, it works flawlessly on my 1070s. However the results are very poor with my 1080s (not Ti version). I am getting maximum 450 sol/s while with EWBF I am getting around 540 at 155W.

Please advise.

Thanks.

It's not worthwhile to mine it anymore, I think everybody jumped on it! Difficulty increase of like 80% today... I guess I'll go back to ZEC
