I should mention that it was me who made the mistake. I was too late so no fault on the side of NXT.

I also have trouble claiming my nxt-coin I followed the steps mentioned in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344206.0 but I haven't recieved my coins yet.

I've followed the steps mentioned in the first post. However I haven't received my nxtcoins yet.  I have waited a good while (transferred at 2013-12-09 10:59:09 - confirmed).

Should I wait longer, are there other ways of claiming my coins or should I  maybe somehow provide my secret phrase?

Actually I think most growth is in alt-coins although they are even more volatile I think only a few good ones will survive and potentially even replace bitcoin as they offer some important improvements (bloated blockchain, transaction confirmation time, scrypt etcetera). I mean, there were social networks before facebook...

Can anybody help me with the following:
I invested in NXT and did not claim my coins yet (I'm trying now). I now have a client running and followed the steps from this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344206.0 post but my coins have not appeared in my account. Does anyone know how long this takes? Is this the proper way to claim my coins?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
