I will be announcing some plans after PoS is activated so that there are not so many coins being minted and the price can remain more stable.

There is now a block explorer located at cryptobe. You can now use this to audit the blockchain and to check on transactions.

lol no block explorer and double the coins that should exist.. meh.
I'm using cryptobe for block explorer hosting and they've assured me it will be up and running in 24 hours. Even though the luck of miners on lotto pools is much greater than I expected this does not compromise the protocol and once PoS is active the large coin increase won't be happening anymore.

This is just speculation on my part but:
With most of the hashrate being on the lucky pools the diff has to go very low in order to sustain the desired block finding rate which means that way more than 1 out of 50 blocks are lucky blocks.

I thought of this. If most people are mining on lottopools then if you switch to a normal pool with the lowered difficulty then this pool will find blocks 49 times faster and it'll balance out.
Also sorry for the mistake it's not Max PoW coins, it's the approximate max without accounting for lottomining. Clearly the supply will be a bit more with this many people lottomining

It depends on how many people do lottomining... I'm not sure of a way to estimate it without knowing the hashrate for lottomining.

Well, it does not appear any pool wants to setup a lottery pool yet. Even though the projected outcome would yield 2x the coins. Maybe I'll do the lottery staking.
Yes it is intended to be a bit more risky, but with significantly more profitable mining if the pool is lucky.

Diff works blocks crawling along super slow.
I heard that digishield was the best for launches, so I chose it for PoW. Glad it's working properly

Ticketcoin is the first ever coin to debut a new form of PoW and PoS mining named Lottery Mining. You can mine as normal and get the standard reward of 250 TKT. Or you can mine using the new lottomining mode. With lottomining you have a 1 in 50 chance of finding a valid block then you will be rewarded with a 100 times multiplier being applied to your reward for a block. For PoW it is the same as a 25,000 TKT reward or for PoS it would be 500% interest. There is a risk to doing this though. You have a 1 in 50 chance of it being invalid! So you must decide if you want to take the risk or not.
The technical details for how lottomining works is as so. In the reward code it runs the current block through a random number generator. If the random number matches then you get the extra reward. If the random number doesn't match though then the reward should be normal. Since the transaction for receiving rewards is set to 25000 TKT it won't be valid. And changing the transaction will change the block hash. Pools are recommended to try creating a lottomining pool seperate from their normal pool so that prospective miners can try winning the lottery! Lottomining also applies to PoS to yield higher interest at the risk of finding less blocks and thus less TKT.
To use lottomining, just place lottomining=1 in your configuration file

There is a minor problem with the windows wallet. When you run it the first time it crashes. If you run it again though it works fine. I'm working to fix this issue.

I followed this tutorial and it's really tricky, but it does work. I used a virtualbox for it so I didn't mess up my computer.
