I agree. The people that are thinking Okcash is dead just don't see more than 12 inches in front of their face.
It's dropping because the market is dropping, not because of some inherent problem with Okcash.

And guys, do NOT underestimate the alt coin pumping that will occur after the fork. Everyone is expecting it to happen, so everyone will participate and therefore CONTRIBUTE to the pumping itself.
And no, the expectation of a pump is not "baked into the price" yet.

Its below 3000 now.  It's either going to crash and burn or have a pump.  If a pump, I'd say at most 200% and that is extremely generous estimate.
Don't look at it so short term. It's a buyers market until the two bitcoin forks are done. It will keep dropping and if it pumps its completely temporary.

If you're selling at these prices, you've lost it. It's not OkCash that's bleeding, it's the entire altcoin market. Alt prices are artificially low.
Personally, I have buy orders placed at 3500, and lower from there. It's definitely gonna keep dropping, but it will no doubt come back once it's alt coin season again.

It's amazing how many people beg for dips so they can buy, then just SELL when it finally dips! AT A LOSS!!! I can't understand it.

REQUEST

Could the OP, or someone knowledgeable on this type of situation, speculate on the ACTUAL mechanism of this attack? What did the OP actually do, that gave away his private key? Was it stolen from the computer's clip board (copy/paste?)

Knowing HOW this kind of stuff happens will make it easier for other people to be more secure.
Thanks

Told you guys, price is going back to 2k sats. Sell while you can Smiley
You're probably right. However, volume is dropping every day. Most 1hr candles lately are closing with less than 10btc in volume.
That shows a constant, but more importantly, low selling pressure.

The problem is just that for now, market interest is elsewhere. Eventually, okcash will pump again. Probably for no reason other than a random P&D.

When the BTC fork is going to take place?

The guys here are right, everyone will sell their alts to get free money, we can see okcash retracing to 2k sats - only 35 btc to sell . Shocked Shocked Shocked

I believe BTC fork will happen sometime in november, next month, so I dont see why people would sell their alts now, they have at least one month till then, they may keep them a little time Smiley
It's because Bitcoin's price recovery. If the price were still in the 3,000s, then people might keep playing with alt coins until closer to the fork. However, since the price is low to mid 4,000s lately, people are getting afraid of getting left behind since it is already recovering so nicely.

Guys, take a look at all the weak hands in this thread. You can tell who hasn't been in this space very long. Markets pump. At the will of the pumpers. The rich.
We will wait until they pump OKcash again.

Call it what you will... "not a pump and dump coin" blah blah. The reality is this is a whale's game. Everything pumps at some point. Be patient.

Huge buy spike on Bittrex just now ?
Just pumpers pumping, don't get excited.
IF you are like me, holding bags, just look away until this Bitcoin fork is over.

People are selling their alt coins, often at a loss like idiots, in order to acquire as much free money from the Bitcoin fork as possible. THAT is why alt coins are going down steadily. So just ride it out.

Guys,

Is Bitcoin Gold "segwit2x"? Why am I hearing dates for October, and November? Are there TWO forks incoming?

In another thread, a person said that there are two, and no one corrected him. Please advise.

Exactly. Look what just happened to NXT. Some of the top dogs decided to take their money and cashed out big time. The market cap dropped off, and it scared away a bunch of people.

It's always easier to get frightened into cashing out when you stand to lose more as well.

When high stake holders cash out, they affect the market. This makes everyone nervous, and suddenly very little money gets put back in to the market to recoup what the high stake holders took.

WTF are you talking about. They are cashing out, yes.
There is nothing spineless about it. HELLO?! THAT WAS THE PLAN ALONG.

You expected them to babysit and cherish their stake? Maybe wait for little guys to get rich LMAO.
Haha touché!
However, if they used their "power" to grow the NXT market, they would have made even more money. They know that. They cashed out while it was a guaranteed payday.
Partially "I'm gonna cash out now that it's up a bit", and partially "Shit, the value isn't skyrocketing now that the code is public like we thought it would, I'm out of here."

The last thing in the world we ever need are spineless founders. That will crush this kind of currency considering how significant the founders are economically speaking for its development.

Sorry that i am so slow in replying to all of you.

I have to wait 360 seconds every time, and then this springs up all the time:

An Error Has Occurred!
You have exceeded the limit of 5 personal messages per hour.
Perhaps there is a way these limitations can be lifted prematurely for you, then.
Lack of communication will kill this project.

Honestly, I've never seen a forum with such strict "newbie" rules.
