Given that most us will never buy the Avalon Chips if there were no group buy, the moderators must keep their side of the bargain and refund in full amount to those who join their group buy. The only 1 so far who is ethical and will honour the refund is Zefir, he wrote to Yifu and got a reply. Sebastian and Steamboat has already make good profit's from their numerous group buys would you all please be considerate and be a great gentleman and refund back their money.
The only question we are concern are the chip production status? Has they already done with the Mask and Wafer??
They themselves also can't seem to answer that questions. Many forum members couldn't be bother, may be they are very rich and couldn't even bother with the difficulty going up daily?
Where are the parts for the miner? is it already in Sweden?
A lot of questions yet to be answer. If they can't deliver by September 2013, they are no better than Butterfly or Avalon sorry to say.

would this add up to more power consumptions, a 5w difference per chip is negligible, however if you have a 1000 chip or even a few hundred chip the power bill will shoots up? 1000 chip x 5w = 5000w
Has anyone heard anything about this? I caught a snippet of this discussion -somewhere- but when I wanted to go back and read in more depth I couldn't find the article again.

The MONSTERS Asicminer is selling their Bitcoin that is the main reasons the price drop!! This guys are centralized miner for their own benefit. Do not support this bunch of Monsters.

Must be from a jealous competitor, Terrahash.. I thought some are calling Terrahash a scam as well? It is natural in this business world, back stabbing and sabotaging your business when they saw that you could offer $12 per gh/s that may killed off their business, they are naturally scare, ya. But I am sure Asic Chip are dirt cheap and made things affordable is the naturally way to go, not those greedy guys and middlemen!!

I am all for this setup because they have an open day/house in different cities, they cover their own NRE, their hash rate is the cheapest in this industry and take orders when they have stocks coming in or available. 2 factors that they need is Time and Costs.
But where are the chip specs, design informations, etc. ? I think that we've seen too many scams on this forum to do the same mistakes all over again.
The only good thing so far is that they are not taking orders without stock IMO.

The greedier ASICMINER gets, the less profit they make on each coin, that's because their energy costs rise as fast as they add gear. At some point they wont be able to pay a dividend as all their revenue will be going into running the bloated ASIC farm, for roughly the same number of coins each week. Then there is a good chance they will have to close up shop, leaving a lot of worthless shares, but also that means 1,000TH/s+ suddenly disappears from the BTC net hash rate, and confirmation times blow out until ridiculous, effecting everyone.
Best possible scenario imho. I've got nothing against any ASIC manufacturer... but the concentration of hashpower in a nation where property rights are... marginal at best worries me... Then again, China is kicking the rest of the worlds ass on the whole 'following free market economics' thing. So I guess I'm not as worried as I would be if ASICMINER were located in the USA or EU.
I can just imagine that headline now... DHS seizes asicminer warehouse and kills bitcoin.
DHS or any enforcement agencies need a search warrant, they can't simply bust in and catch you. In China no search warrant require and can go after you anytime of the day or night.

We have to admit your customer service is slow I meant your reply to our questions and concerns. If you have a full time Job working 16 hours a day that we will understand, but if you are not a technical person why can't you show up or reply once a day?? Europeans serve their customers very well compares to those from the East, I am sure you are from the Western World.
