A week ago I wrote about good PR-strategy BCN needed to become more popular. Now I think maybe BCN should start huge charity campaign for its' promotion. What do you think?
How about to support some religion by sending them Bytecoins? Our community can become popular just because the Pope will say "thanks folks". Nice idea?

Is there a way to see to whom I sent money (list_transfers) after I hit the 'reset' command?

Yes, you may do it with list_transfers command again.
When I make 'list_transfers' after I make 'reset' the receiver value is always 'UNKNOWN'. It shows correctly before I make 'reset'

Edit: The same happens if I delete wallet.bin

Oh, sorry. My bad.
There is no way to see your transactions recipients after reset . Reset works just like wallet.bin delete.
so, if I already used "reset" there is no way to see my transactions any more?

TO SUM UP:

Part 1 - Mysteries and Puzzles Behind the CryptoNote Technology (1/3)
Some general info about CN technology and BCN and the team

Part 2 - Mining Groups in the Blockchain (Part 2 of 3)
About groups who have been mining BCN since the beginning

Part 3 - Keeping it Quiet – CryptoNote Special Conclusion (Part 3 of 3)
Article about future vision in brief.
I thought that there must be a 4 parts. Am I wrong?

That's weird but I also remember that there were an announcement that told there is going to be 4 parts. Maybe the author has changed his mind?
Shit happens Cheesy

Nevertheless, those three parts was amazing. It was nice way to spend my time.

Bytecoin in its current form was not created and publicly released in 2012. I was around...it was no where to be found.

Be wary when considering investing in this coin.

The date of Bytecoin launch was confirmed by several sources. For example this one: http://bitcoinbarbie.com/cryptonote-open-source-technology-concept/  is an interview with Catherine Erwin, CryptoNote’s Communications Manager. She tells about how Cryptonote and then Bytecoin were created.
I you're saying you were around... maybe yours and Bytecoin's paths didn't cross somehow?

I see your problem is finally solved, good for you.
So with this new update Bytecoin apparently has the safest transactions now.
Good stuff...

not only the safest, but the easiest and the fastest as well.

ByteCoin is now listed on https://www.alt2bit.com - We look forward to the growth of Bytecoin and all cryptonote technology.

Not significant but better than nothing...i mean, at least something is happening.

You sound like small news dont have a right to exist.

Sure they do. But lately all the "news" i see are about Bytecoin being added to random exchanges. They promised an update, but apparently it's not gonna happen.

What's wrong with Bytecoin being added to more exchanges? It's a good tendency, i don't understand your discontent.  The update is coming.

Android app for cryptonote trading

Hello guys!

I made an Android app - Cryptonote Bitcoin!

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.cryptcoins.cryptonote

- Trade cryptonote coins on HitBTC and Poloniex and get profit;
- Check your balance on exchanges;
- Nice widgets will inform you about last trades of cryptonote coins to bitcoin;
- See your active and trade history on HitBTC and Poloniex;

Cool, but i'm an IOS user. Are there any apps for IOS out there?

You won't see many apps dealing with Crypto, because afaik there are heavy regulations on submissions.  This is why all (with exceptions that stay alive until caught) wallet apps on the appstore only allow viewing of the balance, no sending features etc.

Well, i'm not surpised. Apple gives its users minimum independence.

Apple will never have a deal with crypto currencies. A good reason to have no deals with apple Cheesy

When will we see screenshots? You can post em here and we will discuss all together.

Probably. never. Because people here can't handle the discussion and eventually they turn it into a holy damn war.

I would honestly be very surprised if guys post anything.

Wrong. The only issue they have is name and that's what people've been fighting about.

A brief exlanation of why this discussion is pointless and... stupid.
Apparently none of these two is perfect. Stop repeating the same statements, let people make up their own opinion. Back in the days i was fortunate enough to never come across a thread like this one (or maybe they didnt even exist). So i was able to think and make choices . And i chose Bytecoin and i dont regret it.

So you're planning to implement it on top of various CryptoNote currencies, but Bytecoin is the only one avaliable. When other cryptocurrencies gonna be added?

Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, but Bytecoin is now available for trading on HitBTC Cheesy
I just saw it too!  Yaaass! Go Bytecoin!

Oh, this is great! But now im questioning criteria by which coins get added on hitbtc.  Cloakcoin with 18534 votes is still not added for examle.
