Has anyone been able to get Phoenix working on Ubuntu?  I have it working however I cannot get the AMD pro driver's installed so it will not recognize any GPUs

I am using ./amdgpu-pro-install -y --opencl=legacy,rocm --headless and it locks up at 96% on  Building initial module for 5.4.0-42-generic....any ideas?

I am using Ubuntu 20.04.1 and ive tried the 20.30 and 20.40 drivers

Thanks

$ sudo ./amdgpu-pro-install --compute
$ sudo usermod -a -G video $LOGNAME
$ sudo reboot

I have 4 rigs with same 4GB cards, but one of the rigs have 8gb ram (RAM not gpu memory) and only that rig works with clymore. Anyone else can check if RAM have any impact of using claymore with this latest issues?

It is dont work for me.

Mine RX 570/580 4GB rigs stop working this morning (cannot allocate big buffer for DAG).
Runing Claymore's Miner v12 on Windows 10 v1709
Driver Crimson ReLive Edition Beta for Blockchain

Other mining software works fine for me.

Read two posts up ^

Move to any 18.x.x driver version, test on your config the best driver that will give best hash performance
Compute mode on, using compute patcher

Hint: install the driver only, without the amd settings cause the wattman will give you headache

Hi there
i got same DAG issue here also,
 v12 fixed it temporary
Only 1 of my 4g rigs is affected,   others 3 are still fine on claymore 11.9
i follow the previous comment
So on that rig, i install Adrenaline 18.8.2
i patch it (because mod bios)
reboot
i use the patch to switch to compute mode using the tool (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2815803.0)
reboot
testing Claymore 12.0 , now it's mining but..... my card are running at 14 MHS instead of 28 mhs,    same thing if i enable or disable my OC in msi afterburner
Any idea ?
Thank you ! happy new year

Because Windows 10 reserves a lot of GPU memory. Also this issue can be if not enough physical RAM is installed, Windows requires some physical RAM when GPU RAM is used, virtual memory helps but some additional physical RAM is required anyway.

They working because they have a little more physical RAM.
I had a reduced hashrate with drivers v.18. *

Now Windows 10 x64 build 1803/ 4GB RAM /Rx570 4GB /drivers blockchain beta / Claymore v12 - working well.
