Selling my Sapphire Radeon HD5830 1GB XTREME
by

I have three cards, all in mint condition, only mined with them for a few weeks. I rarely overclocked them. They are running nearly 250 dollars new on ebay + shipping and nearly impossible to find on newegg. I am willing to sell them off to the highest bidder. They include all original packaging as well as a pre made dummy plug needed to run multiple cards.

Please let me know via PM or through this thread if you are interested in buy them.

Re: [NR 1]: Triplemining.com || 1 BTC(or more) jackpot every week

There was another block before that had about the same amount of time:
Code:
#135556 GENERATED 50.09400000 BTC July 10, 2011 136 hours 5 626 320 YES
Yes, but not near as many shares.  That block was while Triplemining was fairly new and 50 GHash/s wasn't typical (much less 130 GHash/s for the first several hours).  However, this is in no way Triplemining's fault, it's just luck, I've seen blocks with over 8 million shares and heard of blocks with over 10 million shares.  OTOH, I've seen blocks with less than 25 thousand shares at this difficulty.  It's supposed to all average out on the end, and TripleMining had some fairly good luck not too long ago.

7 194 213 shares lol

GODDAMN IT!!!

damn the current block is taking ages....
Is this better or worse for people who have been mining strictly in triplemining? Will we receive bigger shares?
I'm not sure on the answer to that.  It is interesting, though.  I think this block started during the jackpot day, so GHash/s jumped up to like 133, then slowy trickled down to its 40 GHash/s.  Those still mining are increasing their portion of the total number of shares, but those who left might be getting the benefits pool hoppers get (though presumably those benefits dwindle in a case like this).  However, at the end of the day it's still only 50 BTC to go around to everyone involved in the 120+ hours so far, whereas if three blocks were solved in 24 hours, that would be 150 BTC to go around.  That said, if everyone quit mining, the block would never be solved, so the longer (more shares) you have mined, the more you would have to lose by quitting.  When they go to PPLNS, this all changes, and only those mining within 60 minutes of the solution get anything, which would be hugely beneficial to those solely mining at triple on the rare monster block like this one (unless the timing of a problem screwed them over).

You still get a portion though, no? I've been mining for three days on and off. I've solved nearly 50,000 shares for this block -_-

still showing 0.00

 Sad

What is the block count showing in your bitcoin client?

105443

Look at what block number the transactions are in blockexplorer and then look back at the number your bitcoin client shows.  As long as your bitcoin client shows a smaller number, it doesn't know about the transactions yet.

Welcome to bitcoin!

Re: Transaction Fees :::: What is a fair price?

True. 0% is always desired.

The thing I don't get is, if you kept BTC in your local laptop offline and tried to pay out, it asks "0.0005 transactions fees". And there is no guarantee that BTCGuild will process it, so might end up in a pool that charges. So does a transaction cost by default for all trades at the moment?

Triple mining does 1% fees with weekly jackpots of 1.5 BTC. You can join my mini pool if you'd like, all the info is in m sig.

Still nothing showing up in my wallet  Sad Sad

You have triple checked that the address that you entered into the website is *exactly* equal to yours?

You have copied your wallet.dat to a safe location, deleted everything in the bitcoin folder, put a *copy* of your wallet.dat file back in that folder and relaunched the bitcoin client?

Good Luck!

Delete everything?? I just saved my wallet.dat file on my flash drive. Why would I want to  delete everything?

You want to delete everything there to force the client to rebuild the blockchain database so it can find your payment.

1) copy your wallet.dat to a safe place (it appears you have done this to your usb)

2) Delete *everything* in the bitcoin folder, most especially the two files that begin with blk

3) *copy* your wallet dat file back into the bitcoin folder and run the bitcoin client again.

4) watch the blocks be rebuilt, don't fiddle with it during this process, just leave it alone

BTW I notice you did not confirm that you triple checked that you entered the address perfectly in slush's website.

Thank you so much. I quadruple checked just for you.

I think you just connect to eu.triplemining.com port: 8344

register your account through the link in my sig

When i do that i get

"No more backup pools left. Using primary and starting over."

try using GUIminer?? Not familiar with other miners.
