Yes definitely. But it might take a few months for the BTC price to recover and then ETH price will follow.

I suggest ETH, UBIQ, VTC, DGB. They are all awesome coins for long term investment.
How many people expect the market to rebound, but if the end of the year does not recover, perhaps the cryptographic market is no longer eager for us to invest in and hold them.
That could be true. We need the market recover by year end.

My mother and I had a talk about bitcoin last December 2017 or January 2018, the time where bitcoin is on its ATH. She predicted it will not go up beyond $20,000. Do you still think it will reach again its ATH?
I am sure it will. Perhaps we will see another ATH in 2019 or 2020.
It is no longer news that Bitcoin went below 6k recently and all hell was let loosed but generally the coin remained within the 6k threshold. We are almost half of July and nothing drastic has happened as per the price of Bitcoin. Do we expect to see a serious upward trend beyond the current price in August?
It looks like there is still quite some time before we can see bitcoin again at the $10,000 level. Hopefully it will come at the end of this year or early next year.

It might come back when BTC hits another ATH again. But it won't be any time soon.What advantages do altcoins have that differs it from bitcoin ?
Many other altcoins help solve other problems that Bitcoin itself cannot. Like Etherium with its smart contract.
Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?
And among those still on coinmarketcap, many are dying too. I myself only invest in the project I love and trust, especially new and low-cap altcoins. I never buy into ICO.
