For me its bit confusing to guess the future of bitcoins, no doubt its going good at a moment but will it continue the same pace in future too and that is a big question, so without thinking much about the future I am keeping myself engage in collecting as much as I can at a moment and take benefits from it till its alive.
If bitcoin gets on the mainstream then paper money will loose its popularity and users too, as if bitcoin gets widely used and accepted then people will prefer to use bitcoin more in compare to paper money as it will give them freedom of going for shopping cashless and things will become more easier.
Storage, production and the material itself is very expensive for the production of paper money. And if the popular will cryptocurrency, then paper money will be bid farewell ,.Till paper money has support from the Government I don't think it will face any issue and we cannot expect that each and every person will start using bitcoins in future and bitcoin will always be treated as an secondary currency to paper money, and fiat will keep on enjoying its monopoly even in future.
I also think about those people sometimes that how would they feel right now when they see the price of bitcoin when they used multiple bitcoins for buying a pizza or they just left them idle in their wallets and never used them until now, they would have been rich by now if they have kept them safe.
A lot of the early users were careless about their coins. Some of them forgot to keep their private keys securely. Some of them lost their coins in scams and ponzi schemes. And there were a few who lost their coins in wallet robberies.
I don't think that they would be careless about their coins as after all its a money and everyone will keep their money safe in their hands, if they have lost in ponzi schemes or gambling then that's a different thing but people who had great vision would surely have kept their coins safe and already would have get rich with it.
So keeping it safe is always good but if you don't have knowledge for securing your computer and wallet maybe it can be gone forgot or hack by thieves. If i am one of the old user before i keep collecting bitcoin and maybe i am mining bitcoins too.. and hold even 50k amount of bitcoin and holding until now.. but it is just a dream right now because i do not try bitcoin when i was heard it before..
If we would have been a part of bitcoin community since its inception then the scenario would be different at this stage and we would be holding thousands of bitcoins for sure as mining was not so difficult in the past and even the faucet sites were paying huge amount of bitcoins and we have missed that opportunity.
there is still a lot of way and opportunities to make money from bitcoin, you can work freelance for bitcoin, trading bitcoin with alt coin can be very profitable if you are patience and know how to trade properly, there is no easy way to earn bitcoin, you need to work hard to earn your coin, after you got some coin you can used it to open a site or a shop that can make profit
Yes there are many things that you can do with bitcoins, if its an investment for you then better you hold them for a long term and if you are a risk taker then you can spend them in trading where you always have an opportunity to grow them in long term and at the same time allowing you to make good profits.

I don't think that I will continue to use bitcoins if its declared illegal by Government as it may put me in risk and if I got caught using it then they might think that I am involved into illegal activities and may start treating me as a criminal so in that case I will prefer to stop using bitcoins.
it's less risky if you invest your btc in gambling sites it's more stable for your source of income. investing in cloud mining is too risky many cloud mining has offering that you can gain more btc but all of cloud mining is a scam. don't trust cloud mining it's all scam. try investing your btc in gambling sites and let me hear what's your feedback 
Investing in trusted and reputed gambling sites is good in compare to investing in any cloud mining sites as majority of them would turn up to be scam in long run and there is no opportunity to make profits in long term and you will be surely receiving nothing from it but gambling sites can give you regular returns at regular intervals.
March 2017 looks good. It will be sooner than expected. We are now stablishing 700 as new floor. It's only 300 dollars away. Bitcoin can go up 300 dollars in a matter of hours, so it can be anytime now, but it will take a couple more months, for the segwit situation to solve itself. We will see how the blg blockers give up and admit defeat, and we will have segwit activated and this will translate in high price.
Yup that price is possible to achieve at any point of time now, but may be it will reach there somewhere in the mid of the next year as it won't be that easy to achieve that milestone by the end of the year and may be we will see the price of $800 by the end of this year but not anything above that.time will come that btc will grow in our economy. so maybe we can trade it for more higher value than today. just save it and invest your money you will never regret it. fiat system will be lose via fiat system that's what im seeing through my mind. and I hope when the btc value gets more higher im gonna go shopping and buy some gadgets that will help me to grow my btc more. 
i think the more people who invest in btc the more btc value gets raised ? am I right ? but the economy should be balance so im not expecting that the value of btc gets more higher because if its happen many people will get rich easily those people has a 50 btc and if the btc value gets more higher. omyg they're instant rich people hahaha. but dont get me wrong i want to get rich too via btc that's why im hardworking because we all know that Bitcoins is the future of the economy . Bitcoins has a lot advantages than any other currency Yeah a great and bright future is waiting for bitcoins ahead and I am sure that bitcoin will go beyond our expectations in future and it will change the financial system for sure and thinking of all those factors I am try my best to accumulate as much coins as possible and save it for the future so that I can sell them when the right time comes.
I believe basically bitcoin was designed to have huge price levels in future so it was created conceptually as an investment in initial days or as long as it is mine-able. Satoshi must have add this investment feature into bitcoin ecosystem for the reason of gaining popularity over quick time. So, investing into bitcoin must be right choice as it is in investment mode right now.

If ebay and amazon starts accepting bitcoins in future then it will have a great impact on the user base as those are the most trusted sites for online shopping and most of the users prefer to shop from those sites and once they see the option of paying via bitcoins then I am sure it will attract many more people to know about bitcoins.

Price will definitely rise in long term so I don't see any risk in holding them for a long period of time, and its good to keep them safe in wallet instead of investing it anywhere and welcoming the risk of loosing them as investing them anywhere is a big risk at a moment and certainly it will decrease the level of our coins.
Holdig your Bitcoin is best but instead, investing it in Altcoins for trading in short term basis is much better because you can gain more profits from Altcoins.

Choosing the right altcoin is exactly where the main problem is focused at. Nowadays altcoins are being launched in a professional way with great white papers, top notch website, somewhat decent features. I depend on what you are doing with bitcoin. If you're investing in it, then yes. Because you need to maximize the price of bitcoin to get a profit in investing in it. However, if you are just exchanging bitcoins and buying stuff after, then you don't need to mind the price.

I consider bitcoin very seriously because I have invested in bitcoin for a while now and I should be interested what is happening with bitcoin and with the crypto world.
Most of the time I check every day regularly the bitcoin price and some altcoins price and read the crypto news.
For me it's freedom to use bitcoin and to make transaction with people all around the world with cheap fees.
If you pay for your internet and electricity bill then I think that you sell bitcoin every month and that is not considered that you are holding bitcoins for a long time.
It's true that I use too bitcoin as an investment and I prefer to not spend them until I really need money and don't have any other source to get money for emergencies.
Holding them for a long term is the right thing to do as price will certainly go higher in future and it can give us better profits and if we are investing our money in it then we will surely expect to make profits from it as of now I am only selling bitcoins only if I need money badly.

Reality is that if price starts falling then people get panic very easily and start selling their coins as they lack patience, and if you are investing your money in bitcoins then you need to hold them for a very long time to make descent profits from it and if you are lacking patience then you are investing your money at the wrong place.

I don't think only holding bitcoins to make profits is the smart decision to take as anything is possible with the price of bitcoins in future but if we can manage to invest our money at different places then we can expect some profits either from any one of them and it will also reduce the level of risk.
Since the low in January 2015, the price of Bitcoin has been increasing at a very consistent rate of about 6% per month. As shown on the graph below, the price should hit $1000 in June 2017 (+/- 2 months or so) if it continues at this pace.
Maybe this could happen bitcoin price now is really good at the price of 700$ plus and every day price is changing decreasing and increasing the price and bitcoin has very big potential and it can be really make bitcoin into that 1000$ in the year of june 2017 for sure It is a great possibility that the price will hit $1k in next year as by that time we will see many investors and companies will start accepting bitcoins but its hard to imagine that it can achieve that price in this year, no doubt bitcoin is moving in a positive direction but it will take time achieve the milestone of $1k.
And i think before it will happen we will experience of some krisis that can affect the value this following year.. so before its happen i am ready to sell my bitocin before it is happen so that i can buy cheap bitcoin and wait for 1k value..
As long as the prices keeps staying above 700$ this is good. The tendency is going up and we all would like to see 800$ at least by the end of the year. Some are going even further saying that the price should reach 1000$very soon.

Year 2017 will be the promising year for bitcoins as bitcoin is growing more and more over a period of time and we have witnessed the same thing in this year as price rise to more then 100% in this year in compare to the last year and if the rally continues then we may see much better and higher price in next year.
