I'm glad they are being delisted from all platforms. ICO scammers are the reason for all the ad bans from google, twitter and FB.
Good job identifing them and keep up the good work.

Re: Can the Crypto Market Overcome Slow Adoption to Gain Full Traction?

Since market is low, its good to buy and hold and to hope. The crypto ads bans from google, FB, twitter isn't helping the market. Lot of regulations also coming in from many countries which is both a boon and a bane to the current status.
But i still believe market will bounce back.

what are the various ways to market an ICO?
by
tokenpool
on 22/03/2018, 10:23:42 UTC
Say, I have an ongoing ICO for my blockchain application.

I have reached out to influencers and various ICO rating websites like ICObench, TrackICO, CoinFrenzy, etc. I have used most of the available social media platforms and forums to spread the word(Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Instagram, Reddit, Bitcointalk, Crytpocompare, Cryptocurrencytalk). I have also had e-mail outreaches and run ad campaigns.

Are there other methods to do this? The methods out there are mostly stagnant. Any suggestions on how to market my ICO more innovatively?

CoinFrenzy gave an ICO review for spring 2018

The first two months of 2018 haven’t been particularly great for the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry, but that’s nothing to worry about – this price drop is in historical sync with that of the past 4-5 years. With expert analysts from various parts of the world predicting bitcoin prices to be in the vicinity of $50K by the end of this year, it is safe to assume that the blockchain technology is going to exponentially proliferate from here on.

After reviewing opinions from a bunch of Wall Street analysts and performing an in-house research, the following ICO’s emerge as most trending for spring ’18.
1. Enkidu
2. VeriME
3. RightMesh

Purpose of Lightning Network
by
tokenpool
on 16/03/2018, 12:18:29 UTC
I've heard a lot about this lightning network, and how it works, however I have questions on the purposes of it.
From what I know, much of Bitcoin's value comes from the technology behind it, the blockchain. This allows everyone and anyone to know exactly where anything and everything is at any given time. That to me was the purpose of the coin.
All of that is eliminated with the lighting network.

Why are people so excited about the future of the lightning network. (I think a full P2P token has great potential) but it seems to be against everything that Bitcoin was originally built upon and the technology that is helping push Bitcoin's value.

Cold storage on Raspberry Pi

I am looking to create a cold bitcoin wallet with my Raspberry Pi zero.
Having looked at some guides online I am yet to find one that provides a completely air gapped cold wallet. I would not need to access this bitcoin regularly (just want to get out of coinbase) and would like to keep it completely offline.

Market status

Hey guys! I'm sure everyone's noticing the drop in the cryptomarket. Is there any particular reason for this? Is the bubble actually popping. I've heard that supply and demand, selling more than buying are like the main reasons for the market to drop. Even google announced that they ll be banning the ICO and crypto related ads.
What do you guys feel about the whole scenario right now?

Google to ban ICO and cryptocurrency AD
by
tokenpool
on 14/03/2018, 11:01:02 UTC
Google is going to change its financial product policy in June this year. They have mentioned in the recent blog post that cryptocurrency ads, Initial Coin offering and related content like cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice will be removed from June 2018.

This will affect all of Google's ad products, meaning companies will not be able to serve crypto-related ads on the search engine giant’s own sites, as well as third-party sites in its network.

Just after a month of Facebook announcing that it would enforce a similar policy that bans advertisements involving bitcoin and initial coin offerings to prevent cryptocurrency related promotions that might deliberately misguide investors, google has decided to update its financial product policy.
