^  I guess so...  And there's a kind of prestige by being a Punk holder.  Not really sure why many people hate the pixel art of Punks as I think it's one of the best looking ones out there imho, if not the best.  A lot of other NFT projects made a conscious decision to be a Punk derivative because it's valuable for them to do so.  At least at the start when it starts trading.

As for NFTs making a comeback...  Dunno about that but I do hold some for airdrop farming purposes.  Grin  Hope it pays off as some of them aren't exactly cheap.

^  Lol wdym far too early?  By this time of the cycle things should be flying sky high with just a few and with just small sell downs.  Not  this when there's some buy up then it starts going sideways again, making people doubt their market positions...

This is the hardest bull market to trade imho.  I wouldn't be surprised if more people lost money now than the prior bull markets.  But the kind of PA it's having might also mean it'll be an easier transition to a bear market which could leave a door wide open to exit positions.  Cheesy:D

I've been hearing things that Fred Vasseur is gonna be given a contract extension because of the 'stability' that he brings to the team...  That prolly more like it means that Ferrari can't get Horner so they have no choice but to stay with Vasseur.  Cheesy Cheesy

So I guess the odds on Horner going to Alpine and buying 20% of the team is going up?  Chances are he's not taking a sabbatical.

And another question, why does Merab always fight in Las Vegas his recent fights? I don't remember him fighting somewhere else recently.

The UFC performance institute (UFC PI) is located in vegas.

Many UFC fighters live and train there as they can receive free training, free meals, free supplements, free medical support & other benefits at the UFC PI.

Vegas is where the UFC has most of its infrastructure and amenities.

It is a great tourist and gambling destination. Which is why it was once called the fight capitol of the world.

There's also a PI in Mexico and one in China...  And they're planning on building a couple more.  They're gonna he in Africa and the other one could be in South America or Australia.

But yeah, I think the reason why Dvalishvili's matches are always organized in Las Vegas lately is because he's prolly the biggest draw for audiences located in the US right now with Topuria a close second and Aspinall third.

^  Oh damn...  65 punks?  From just one guy?  Who could that be?  It's more likely a newcomer in crypto rather than a guy who's been here for a little while.  I couldn't imagine anybody who knows what's up sweep 65 punks.  Maybe 5 or something, not more than a bunch of them.  Cheesy

But yeah...  It's prolly gonna be one of them companies keeping for their 'treasury'.  If so then punks have become something like a Van Gogh or a Monet in their eyes.

If the current market PA is 'alt szn' then oh boy, this is like the worst time I've had in an alt szn.  The vibe sucks, lots of hate in the time line at CT.  No wagmi vibes.  It's like either people are losing money and if they're making money, it's not overall satisfying.

And remember we had that 'Crypto Boy' feel good song last time?  We don't have it anymore.  And it's also looking like the altcoin section is dying...  That's a sign that everyone is not really making anything anymore.

PUMP is now below ICO price.  So if some of you guys were so annoyed that you weren't able to get in, don't fret...  And I'm def not going to tell you to get in now.  Lol.  I'm telling you that you avoided a bad ICO.  Cheesy Cheesy

So yeah, PUMP's launchpad metrics aren't really looking too good rn.  They're down to just 14% of all launchpad activity from dominating it just months prior.  Memecoin guys seem to have moved to BONK's launchpad.

Anyway, it's at 3.6b FDV...  Let's see if it hits 2b FDV.

Btw...  Where is Julian Nagelsmann these days..?  Maybe he wants to take a crack at the riddle that's United.  Lolol.  Grin

Anyway, when will next season's schedule be released?

I haven't heard from him, dude disappeared from Europe - maybe somewhere on the island with two blonde Brazilian hoes..

Next season full schedule already out!

Yeah he's Germany's manager now.  I wonder how hard it would be for some big clubs to poach him away from international football?  If either Chelsea manager or Liverpool manager starts flopping, he could be a good option.  And with him being German, pretty sure both clubs have had good experiences from their prior German managers...  Esp Liverpool.  Grin

Chelsea had a decent time under Tuchel too.  Won them the UCL when everybody didn't even consider them to win the whole thing.

Memes aside, Hamilton didn't go to Ferrari because he believes he will win. He saw what Mercedes was doing and he realized that he can't get a win there, no titles, so he might as well go race for a few years as the most known brand all around, Ferrari is THE racing team, in all over the world at all kinds of races.

And now, he is just having fun, doesn't even care that much, care enough that he wants to give his all, but he is not expecting a title. He knows his title times are gone, so he just focuses on being happier and just be a Ferrari guy. So there is no way he would go back to Mercedes, there isn't anything that makes sense for him to go there. With that being the case, I am sure that we are going to see him stay there, and Max will be at Mercedes instead.

But Ferrari is certainly the best place for a goat like Hamilton to end his career. It's like closing a page in a book with gold ink, since Ferrari is a prestigious team in F1. Even if he doesn't win the title, even if his performance fluctuates, people won't blame him too much, because they already know the Hamilton era is over, and Hamilton doesn't need to prove anything. For now, people only see him competing with young talents - as for whether he can win the title, let time tell.

And here's the thing...  If Hamilton happens to surprise everybody and actually wins a world title and winning it with Ferrari which hasn't won a title since God knows when and also breaking Schumacher's record which was set in Ferrari...  That's like gonna be considered as one of the greatest feats in not just F1 but in all of history of being in sports.

I just hope Horner goes in there tho.  They'll have a better chance with him running the team.

Even though Holloway is younger, I dont see that there is much for him in UFC. If he wants to stay as a forever gatekeeper, make money, then its ok. He can fight champions, top guys and play be knocked out or not roulette. Too late for him to become a featherweight champ, too late to become a lightweight champ. Probably, UFC would give Holloway for new prospects to build name. Maxato would gain damage, others get recognition and money. Imho it not the bet finale for a legend.

True...  But I could also see a scenario that could bring him to a title fight at 155 after winning against Poirier which brought Holloway to the top 5.  And with Holloway being an established fighter in the UFC, he'll be given this privilege.

Pundits and the journos could make a case that the weight cut was already taking a toll on Holloway and that 155 is more ideal for him now.  I mean yeah, it's prolly right to say so but would do I think it makes case for Holloway to win the 155 title.  No...  But he'll prolly make more than two rounds tho.  Cheesy Cheesy

And would be cool to see Topuria get the BMF thingy and go fight Makhachev at 170 with Topuria as the BMF guy and Islam the 170 champ.

And I do hope Ferrari gets Horner.  But it's not looking likely with Alpine giving what Horner wants.  His chance to be like Ross Brawn where he could be the owner and team principal.

Costa recently told that he wants to fight Chimaev. And I feel like this fight is never going to happen. I have a feeling that Costa is going to lose tomorrow and released from UFC. He is too much problematic for UFC. Either cancels fight when it is about to happen, or ask for more and more money. Feel like UFC are tired of him.

Chimaev fights DDP. But Chimaev fights so rarely, that its either decrease in motivation, or he is bored with fighting. Or his endless health issues. Ive read somewhere that he has either congenital problem with immune system, or something was removed/replaced due to illness. Long story short, as soon as he starts weight cutting, his body looses all imminity and he catches all pokemons viruses.

If Chimaev loses against DDP then it could happen.  Fighting Costa would help him get back on track esp how Costa just won as an underdog at 318.  Wink  And here's the thing, they got some beef going on...  The UFC loves that sht.

Here are the results.  Some underdogs won.  Lol.  And it's nice to see Patricio win one in the UFC.  Hopefully more of the greats in Bellator and the PFL make the crossover to the UFC.

Max Holloway def. Dustin Poirier
Paulo Costa def. Roman Kopylov
Daniel Rodriguez def.   Kevin Holland
Patrício Pitbull def. Dan Ige
Michael Johnson def. Daniel Zellhuber
Vinicius Oliveira def. Kyler Phillips
Brendan Allen def. Marvin Vettori
Nikolay Veretennikov def. Francisco Prado
Ateba Abega Gautier def. Robert Valentin
Islam Dulatov def. Adam Fugitt
Jimmy Crute def. Marcin Prachnio
Ryan Spann def.   Łukasz Brzeski
Brunno Ferreira def. Jackson McVey
Carli Judice def. Nicolle Caliari

After Hyperliquid, I haven't had any good airdrops yet but I'm chasing some.  Will post if I get any decent ones.  I'm waiting for Monad the most.  Let's see if it cooks.

Rumors are ongoing right now.

Horner who has been sacked 1 week ago is the center of it.
A potential sign with Alpine has emerged in the past week.
Also in the past Ferrari manifested interest in Horner with also rumors about a potential sacking for Vasseur.

We may have more info during the week but if they need to decide they need to be fast with the new revolution in cars for the set for the next year.

Alpine next year is also getting the Mercedes engine right?

I dont think Horner is gonna go into Alpine but it can be a super good combo if they do some adjustement. I feel more like Horner is gonna take a sabatic year, or better to say a rest year, spend time with his "injured" family and comeback stronger in the 2027 after seeing how good or bad the teams are with the news regulations.

I don't think so...  Horner wants to get in there right away and take another shot.  And there are new talks going around that he's looking to do 'a Ross Brawn' and actually buy into a team and manage it as team principal.  Well, Alpine is selling 20% of the team and it looks like Horner is interested.

I'm really a fan of the move if it happens.  Would like to see Horner guide another team to greatness.  So yeah...  It looks like the big guys at Red Bull broke apart.  Newey at Aston Martin, Verstappen moving somewhere else and so is Horner.

Fighting at your home town in MMA could be a disadvantage.

There are more distractions. More people wanting a slice of your time. More pressure to perform.

Its easier to stay focused fighting as a complete stranger, in a place where no one knows you.

Maybe but then again it could be like football...  Like the 12th man kind of thing.  Dunno tho.  I just think Poirier is a decent bet as a slight underdog and also looking at his history with Holloway.  He also never had back to back losses.  So yeah...  I'll take the plus money for a small bet.  Grin

Anyway, here are the weigh in results.  No misses.  Wink

Max Holloway (155) vs. Dustin Poirier (156)
Paulo Costa (185) vs. Roman Kopylov (185)
Kevin Holland (170) vs. Daniel Rodriguez (170)
Patricio Freire (145) vs. Dan Ige (145)
Michael Johnson (155) vs. Daniel Zellhuber (156)
Vinicius Oliveira (136) vs. Kyler Phillips (135)
Brendan Allen (185) vs. Marvin Vettori (186)
Francisco Prado (170) vs. Nikolay Veretennikov (169)
Ateba Gautier (185) vs. Robert Valentin (186)
Islam Dulatov (171) vs. Adam Fugitt (171)
Jimmy Crute (205) vs. Marcin Prachnio (205)
Lukasz Brzeski (242) vs. Ryan Spann (252)
Brunno Ferreira (186) vs. Jackson McVey (185)
Nicolle Caliari (126) vs. Carli Judice (125)

^  And it's not just that...  It seems like as the market is getting better, the 'revenue meta' looks like it's slowly dying.  ETH and the likes of XRP and XLM are getting bought up hard but HYPE is underperforming and PUMP is actually going down after having a stellar ICO.

Is the market really going back to its roots?  Are we seeing the standard rotation game back in play?  Will we see the money go from BTC, to ETH, to majors, then to lower mc alts, to memecoins then NFTs?

There hasn't been any "new" teams added to the squad in a long time, so adding Russel for that team would be a great addition.

As far as I know Cadillac is in talks with 3 drivers currently:

Sergio Perez
Valtteri Bottas
Mick Schumacher

Perez is already about to sign for them. They are expected to announce him after the Hungarian GP. His teammate is unknown for now. They say it's gonna be Bottas or Mick.

Truthfully if I were in their place to pick one of these names, I'd choose Mick. I don't think they should sign 2 old drivers. It'd be better to have one young driver.  Smiley

I'd like to see Mick Schumacher in there but the kid is no good and prolly shouldn't be in F1.  He'd be more like a liability than an asset.  But Formula E would prolly be good for him.

And I wouldn't say that both Perez and Bottas aren't exactly old.  The still have a tad over couple of years of F1 in them.  So handing both the 'standard' 3 year contract would be fine.

Since you mention formulaE and after several years of having it, what are your thoughts about it?

I mean I feel like the serie works for what was made but in the end never build his fan base. And ende up being always more like a develop division and a propaganda for the electric automotion and to show how powerfull the electric motors can be since we were staring in the hibrid era in Formula1.

I don't watch it.  It's just too boring with the cars having close to no engine noise.  Lol.  Even F1 got a tad boring after switching to the V6 Turbo.  We need the screaming sounds of the aspirated engines.

Anyway, there's some words swirling around that Hamilton has a performance clause in his Ferrari contract that he could return to Mercedes.  And get this, Toto Wolff is still interested in acquiring Verstappen even if Hamilton returns.

^  Yup, and watch both Holloway and Poirier after the face off at the pre fight press conference.  Poirier is def ready to scrap...  Holloway was just standing there kinda looking like he wasn't interested.  I think Poirier wanted this fight and Holloway was just happy to come along for for the ride.

Another interesting thing is Dan Ige and Patricio Pitbull face off.  Ige is actually taller than Patricio.  Usually Ige is the smaller guy.  This makes me more comfy for my bet.  Grin

Poirier lost to Justin Gaethje in 2023.

While Max Holloway defeated Gaethje in 2024.

"MMA math" = Poirier is underdog.

But of course, styles determine the outcome of fights.

And so it may not be so simple.

But in the first fight Poirier won.

I think their 1st fight was at featherweight in 2012, Poirier won by triangle.

2nd fight was at lightweight in 2019 Poirier won by decision. Holloway held the FW belt when they fought.

2019 to 2025 is a long time in MMA years.

I meant Poirier vs Gaethje...  Poirier won at R4 via TKO.
