Come on, some more hash for hush at http://pool.miningspeed.com/ please!  Smiley
No reg. and just 0,3% fee! Awesome!  Kiss

Hush is doin great! Good start! Wink

I was going to join Suprnova but after reading this board I moved my rigs from Nanopool (Ethereum/Sia) to Miningspeed (Hush).

Im using EWBF with my 1080 Ti GPUs, is there anything better ?

TIA

Same setup here. Started pointing my rigs to miningspeed yesterday after having been on surpnova.

I think there's a bug on miningspeed where worker balance always shows 0??

Unsettling as it makes newcomers think something isn't right until 5 hours later when first payout comes in.

tested with 7x 1080ti:

core 100
mem (blank)
power 180
temp 82

Power limit doesnt work at all. backward progress as the alpha version actually registered "150" value correctly. Here on this beta no values work--all cards run at 250w (100% TDP).

Memory left blank will register "182" on console.

Not sure why this was even released yet. Nothing works properly.

if you dont need to take profits from mining right away then i think its good to mine for speculation's sake ie aim for much larger potential returns by mining smaller cap coins such as hush, zencash, vert which have way more room to grow 10-100x in 1-2 years compared to eth or zec.

It's always easier to reach a market cap thats been previously hit by another coin compared to an unprecedented one.  And even if a big coin like ETH grows 10x by next year that rising tide will bring even bigger returns to the smaller cap coins provided they stay in the game that long, which i think is very likely considering the immediate mining profits of small coins are on par or even better than bigger coins.

i just think youre leaving a ton of potential gains on the table by mining larger coins where you make fractions of a coin every day. Mining is worth it when you mine 1000 bitcoins before it was worth anything and wait for it to boom. The great news is this is happening now with other coins frequently. But only if you play that game will you profit from it!

tezos: uncapped ICO: stay away.

very low possibility to quick flip for decent profit once it hits exchanges due to no buying pressure.

bright side is ETH will be cheap soon Smiley

Re: Anyone have 5+ 1080 ti's working with risers on Asus Z270A?

8x 1080ti with same board and celeron cpu:

i didnt setup all 8 in one shot since the cards arrived in multiple shipments. so i setup 4 at first, then 6 then 8. the only issue i ran into was that as I added more cards i had to run DDU in safe mode then reinstall nvidia drivers after all cards were plugged. then all of them would show in device manager properly. none of this "install one card, reboot, install next card, reboot" BS that other mobos go through.

risers are v07 6pins. 2 sata connections per line.

I've been watching crypto markets for a good 5 years now and made the bulk of my investment within this past year and just recently got my first (and last) rig up and running.

My opinion is that the whole thing is just a continuous pump and dump. Its no different than a ponzi scheme where you require a greater fool to buy at a higher price from you. you have new dumb money getting sold on $5k-$100k bitcoin prices from hype and idiot memes, spending their paychecks on coinbase market buys as well as pure gambling on shitcoins while whales cash out to from these greater fools in predictable intervals. That's like the only pattern there is. It's just been exacerbated as of recently due to btc soft fork FUD and ETH ICOs cashing out the moment fundraising is over...they dont give a sh#t and the price tanking reflects that.

We should be really worried how all crypto coins are tied to btc price and how there's really no way to evaluate the worth of these coins via fundamental analysis.

I'll be bagholding for a good year i predict.

what cards do you have.

I am using  2  1080ti cards

reference style.

mind you  if I do windows   I can get  1220  vs 1012 here so  he needs to improve this.

@ ty  nvidia is poised to take over from  amd as the premier cards to mine with.. please give us clocks.

@tomfullery

I have that asus turbo on the way. right now i have 3 evga SC and 1 FE.

I realized that you have to input values from 70 to 150 which equates to max watt per card. 70 wont change anything for the TI. 140 and 150 work. Hopefully Ty can open up that range.

Not happy with this setup on SMOS at the moment. zcash difficulty just increased and each TI is making less than $6/day on flypool.

At this point ill just run windows.

How to run different rigs on different pools , do not want to use the global settings. ?

here is 140 watt setting
If I do this on windows with clocking I get 1200 not 1012  we need clocking!!

How are you able to change power limit? Playing with the "Powerlimit (accepting values from 70-150)" yields no difference for me.

Re: Can I dual mine with "Corsair AX1500i 80Plus Titanium"?
by

i think it will work. i plan to run 6 1080ti on the ax1500i on lower TDP and solo mining.

but your 1070s also require 6pin and 6+2pin right? you will be short on cables as the ax1500i comes with 2 cables that are dual 6+2pin and 6 cables that are single 6+2pin.

then get these splitters?
