Great question! The team only holds 4.5% of the total supply (which is considerably lesser than what other project teams hold). The tokens are also locked in via a smart contract. Currently the team actually holds zero tokens and these will vest over time based on the schedule specified in our white / litepaper. On your point regarding swaying the market, it is counterintuitive for us. Since we get paid in our tokens over time, we know it is imperative we continue adding utility to toorcoin and toorister, or the team's tokens will also be worthless.

Hi peacefulpeace. There are three use cases for toorcoin - these details are documented in our litepaper and whitepaper. Toorcoin will be used to facilitate payments on Toorister for:

1. Tipping other tooristers for their travel insights and helping others with their travel plans
2. Bookings for attractions and activities
3. Broader industry adoption use case (Hotels, Cars, Airline bookings).

Our total supply is 100M Toorcoin and the remainder tokens will be minted over a period of 20 years through our unique reward staking mechanism. Via this mechanism, users are rewarded for holding Toorcoin in proportion to their holding size and holding duration, which is a key differentiation of Toorcoin.
