Importing private keys is not the way to go.It brings uncertainty to the user.
Signing a message with the address would be ideal.
This is far from ideal, as you are showing ownership of Bitcoin through a single IP, even if it's behind a proxy. All Bitcoin tx's you ever made will be linked/combined to 1 entity.
Ouch ... importing BTC private keys into Bitcore wallet, many will not like this.
I agree with that statement. Can you guys give us the option to claim BTX the "old way"? I would much rather go through the "claiming service" than expose my private key. Thanks

Signing a message with the address would be ideal. This has been done before on an earlier airdrop of BTX. Go to the website - check your balance on the snapshot- sign a specific message with your addresses - claim your BTX.
Simple,secure,tested and no one has a problem with it. Why would you even consider an other way?
