Re: Is USDT Tether safe?
by

So many big names claims that Tether is safe. But if you have an option to choose stable coin, try to avoid Tether. At least the tether is highly suspicious of not having enough money to back all tokens.
What did you imply by writing "highly suspicious of not having enough money to back all tokens."? If you have time, please explain it a little bit and in more details. If this is the truth, it will be unsafe, not only for USDT, but also for bitcoin because USDT partially used to support BTC price.

Re: temtum was on Sky News on Monday!?!

Yeah! sometimes it is not all about unnecessary hype that makes a project successful, project like temtum don't need any hype to succeed because the fundamentals and the ideas which the project is built is the driving tool of temtum, inshort, i like the way temtum surprises everyone eventually because not many people know about tem before but now many are aware and many more will still come to support this great project.
I totally agree. Temtum, and others good projects, simply need time to become bigger. If a project can release good products, apps, and have strong use cases, it will certainly become bigger, and there is no need to do hype to catch flow of capital for their projects.

Re: Multiple Round ICOs?
by

A lot of projects are doing such fundraising. First rounds are covering basic development and as you said after a certain period of time they are going for real money. I saw enough projects that raised funds in ICO and then launched an IEO to collect more funds.
Such projects mostly are failed ones. IMO, we should not invest into those projects, no matter which sorts of fundraising they use, ICO, IEO, ITO, whatever.
I saw some projects run their ICOs at starts, months ago, then recent months/weeks came back to run their IEOs. Those ones should be avoided because you will highly lose money if invest in those projects.

Or they want to stable the price of tem for some time, you do realize that having crypto pairs will result to high price fluctuation, the team already they will lnclude btc and eth pairs soon, but i do like the usd pair because price looks stable.
This is one of potential theory, but who knows what the Temtum team think of. I think we can enjoy the bright start of Temtum, for now, for more things, let's the future and time tell us. In Temtum, I believe, and will keep watching this project, will wait for my chances to invest when it gives  me good entry price.

Any idea why we can't trade TEM against crypto in coinall exchange? I think if they add BTC and ETH pair for TEM we might see a bit higher volume.
Maybe the team have not had enough funds for other trading pairs. Please stay calm, because more things to come. Temtum has still been in its very early phase, and from what the Temtum team have done so far, I have a strong belief that they will bring more surprise to us.

well, this is just a guess, but I think the price of ETH will soon rise in a few weeks, especially in the upcoming August. we see that until now, there has not been a high enough increase from the price of ETH. I think, when the price of bitcoin is quite stable, then the price of ETH will soon rise, and I feel that when the price of ETH rises, it may exceed 0.05 btc for 1 ETH.
Bitcoin might remain stable in coming days, or till the end of first half of August, it will gives altcoins great environment to explode, and yes Ethereum will have a slot in that tide of altcoins. However, I still don't know how high Ethereum can go this time. Will Ethereum can make a break out of 0.04 BTC per ETH? I hope it will but not sure, honestly.

Re: Trading Teaches Me New Patience And Experience!

People who trade every day will certainly build their own patience. Everything that goes through in trade will definitely make a new experience. Even that can be profit or loss, so this trade is very good for various things and what is certain is patience.
Maintaining your patience, and keeping your emotions as stably as possible are key to help you get good results for your investments. In crypto, if you are lack of patience, and have unstable emotions, your will make stupid orders, repeatedly, then you will lose all or most of your money.

I have sort of given up on ETH for this year. Move to $300 was good but then it dropped below $200 again,,, like it loses strength so quickly before it can even enjoy a month of gains it crashes back down. Still waiting for $400 because that is my entry price!
At least Ethereum have not yet fallen to where it started (around $50 in end days of the first half of 2017). It is good, and thanks God for this performance of Ethereum so far. I don't think Ethereum will be able to move up to around $1000 or $1500 in the next one year, but who knows, everything is possible in crypto. Back in 2017, no one think bitcoin will move closely to $20000, but it nearly reached that price.

It is unlikely that ETH will start to grow fast now, because in addition to it, Bitcoin is growing, which has a strong influence on the growth not only of ETH, but also of many alts
Ethereum deserves higher price than its current one. From market movements, it gives me a feeling like we have been in a new period, in which bitcoin and altcoins will move in same direction, upwards. I meant we might see a  new bull run wave, but this time it is for all, not only for bitcoin as we saw recent months.

Re: Most new ICO/IEO projects are new crypto trading platforms
by
tranquynhtien
on 25/07/2019, 13:01:44 UTC
Nowadays, it is difficult to build up a succesful projects in crypto from scratch. Therefore, teams tend to create more exchange projects to find their opportunities. However, not all teams can build up good exchanges, even they don't have intentionn to scam their investors/ customers. So, if someone don't have enough experience to verify good/ bad exchanges, they should use well-known, old exchanges, that have good histories, without scam accusations or flags (nowadays).
I did notice that myself that most of the startups are exchanges, in which they are trying to compete with the low and average-type exchanges that are existing in the market. I honestly agree that these exchanges are saturated, in which almost all of them are having the same function and features (with a little bit unique features).

And on top of that, these exchanges are having their own tokens. The purpose is for them to use it a trading pair to other coins or tokens, and may give it away as an airdrop or in trading competitions. However, there are other exchanges in which they're not yet tradable in their platform until now.

I wouldn't mention that exchange though, it's been a year and no movement from their part in activating that token of theirs for trading. I just don't know why they are doing it because they think they can compete with the big guys out there, and convincing them to trade in their respective platforms instead. It's just that most of them failed and didn't attract a lot of people to trade with them due to their "almost the same" features like what the big guys do.

Re: IEO IS WAY BETTER
by
tranquynhtien
on 25/07/2019, 12:58:36 UTC
It's another way to bring the interest coming back to this venue of investment, though they've got the improvement and they manage to attract more  investors but the intentions is just the same, getting investment to make the project successful, in the long run it will remain the same, when there's
more invested money the chance to grow is far better than those who's not getting any  support.
I think that the key point to help investors, to attract them is stricter managements from governments. As we witnessed, due to scam ICOs in 2017, governments stepped in, then we have KYCs, that are a huge improvements in crypto, and somehow help investors to have another kind of protections from scam projects and scammers. KYCs are not perfect and they can not protect investors themselves, but at least investors have one more protective tools. I think soon IEOs will have some kind of new management tools from governments.

Well, obviously all of the Ethereum (ETH) holders are hoping that it'll go up again but we can't predict it accurately when it will happen so let us all just hold our dear ETH until the prices rises again and then sell it for profits.
That post, and that chart you quoted are for Ethereum performance in May this year, around two months ago, not now. Last 48 hours, there are some positive signals that altcoins and Ethereum have warm up and might take off soon.

SINOVATE IS NOW OFFICIALLY PART OF BINANCE INFO’S TRANSPARENCY INITIATIVE
Sinovate has been working hard to reach their objectives in time and remain transparent with the entire community. SINOVATE (SIN) is well-known for promoting total transparency and the team is glad to officially announce that SINOVATE has joined the Binance Info Transparency Initiative, which will provide a one stop source for our community to keep abreast of SIN related news, updates and progress. https://mastersofnodes.com/sinovate-is-now-officially-part-of-binance-infos-transparency-initiative/
Will this one give Sinovate some kind of advantage to ask for listing on Binance? If Sinovate can be listed on Binance, the Sinovate community will feel much happy, because new investors and traders might buy, hold, or trade Sinovate coin. I read the article you gave,
I searched on Binance and still have not seen Sinovate (SIN) on the exchange.

Now the most important thing is that the ETH does not fall below $200, because a further decline is possible and this can have a very bad effect on the ETH
In my opinion, in coming weeks, Ethereum will lose its price in USDT pair, but its price in BTC pair will rise considerably because Bitcoin will fall down dramatically. I don't see terrible things with that scenario, but I see opportunity to increase my BTC balance by investing in Ethereum in ETH/BTC pair. I also believe that within the third quarter this year, Ethereum might move close to the 0.03 BTC range.

Invest in newborn projects is risky. For example, we can not fully and correctly assess potential of a new-born exchange, certainly. We can spend our time to read their whitepapers, join their exchanges to get experience, with thrown-away emails, then assess their quality and potential but at beginnings, we have limited data sources to assess them. You are right that within last three months, there are so many new born exchanges, that create another new trend in crypto, but generally be careful with them.

Unlike ICO the IEO is not open to the public. You must be a hosting exchange user to participate in token sales.
It is not only this, but also requires you are huge investors to get advantages and invest in IEOs of good exchanges. Small investors are unable to join IEOs of good exchanges, believe me. However, I don't think reasons to feel upset if you can not join IEOs. You can observe and wait for good price to buy exchange coins of exchanges that you want to invest in their IEOs. Eventually, returns from capital is final objectives, IEOs or not, it does not a real matter; choosing good exchanges to invest is.

Crypto currency market is a cruel place for investors, whom should know that without knowledge, skills, experience, and patience, they will end with money lost for sure. Among them, patience is one of the most important or the most important characteristic that can help investors to wait for months to get good price to enter their favorite projects, and holding for months to avoid massacre. When all worst things go away, investors will be able to enjoy ride of market and take profits.

yes, i believe if proof of stake on ethereum will make the price of eth growing in fast mode,
and personally i have no doubt on ethereum, because this coin is the best altcoins now,
and now when the price of eth down, i just started to collect more ethereum  Wink
Sure, it will have such effects when Ethereum becomes stakeable coin. Unfortunately, the switch from Proof of work to Proof of Stake on Ethereum network has been delayed so many times, and it seems that Ethereum investors lost their patience and started to dump ETH hours ago.

It is unimaginable honestly. With such huge money, you should prepare yourself for your investment. Asking for others ' opinion to invest is never the right way to do. Doing this might help you get money fastly, but it might also bring huge losses to you. Both profits, and losses, you will don't know why you get them, at all.

Re: Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash?
by
tranquynhtien
on 14/07/2019, 13:39:26 UTC
Litecoin is older and more reliable altcoin, compared to Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash is just a shit coin that forked from bitcoin, and tried to take over bitcoin. Unfortunately, Bitcoin Cash failed to do its main purpose. If you ask me, I will definitely choose Litecoin, that is better than Bitcoin Cash, technically. However, in the aspect of investment, whenever Bitcoin Cash drops to good buy zone, I will invest into that coin.
