IQ is the single best predictor for life success, especially the ability to make and manage money.

Notwithstanding the circularity of the argument, the best predictor to make money is the amount of money you have, and the best predictor of this amount is the amount your parents had...

Racist is a meaningless buzzword, stating facts is now racist, yes jews control the media, and the banks, that's a fact, get over it.
yes blacks on average score much lower on IQ tests and commit a disproportionately high amount violent crimes?  is that ''racist''? don't know, don't care, but it happens to be true.

OMG People of color score lower on Ethnocentric tests. I'm not even going to dignify the rest of your crap.

Get a grip, you're a racist.

P.S.  This thread is about BTC.
*sigh* no. IQ tests are simply pattern recognition. There is nothing cultural about it. That tired old excuse is... tiresome.

And they do commit more crime. About four or five times as much per capita. Again, easy enough to look up for anyone who actually cares.

Socio-economic status is a far more reliable predictor of IQ test performance.  Low SES children consistently underperform
You got it reversed. Low social status and poverty is a result of low IQ.

The strongest predictor of socioeconomic status is the SES of your parents. On that basis only smart babies choose to be born to wealthy parents  Grin
IQ is mostly genetic. There is literally nothing we can do about it, as far as we currently know. Blame your parents if you wish.
I disagree with that notion. IQ is a statistical measure of rather arbitrary test results of tests that can be practiced for. If you really cared you could increase your IQ to 120~140ish by sheer effort. From that point onward we're so far to the right of the mean that no tests really exist in sufficient volume.

There is a difference between IQ and Intelligence. The former being only an attempt to measure the latter.
The way I think of it is, there is intelligence and knowledge. IQ is like a processor, and knowledge is the programming.

Would you rather have a supercomputer that can only compute prime numbers, or a regular laptop that can do anything? Simply being smart is not enough, it has to be put to practical use.

He (rightly) objects to you that IQ is not intelligence, just a (failed) attempt to estimate it.
Your metaphor misses the point and proves just one thing: you don't understand what intelligence is.

But it's not your fault: your racist brain can't compute such alien concepts, it's intelligent-proof.

I may be wrong, but afaik no one knows who won the auction, even those who won it don't know. They, you, I, the world will know monday, not today.

As usual the only thing that is sinking the price is the panic sellers sinking the price because they are afraid the price might sink. Every single time.
Yes, but...
As usual the only thing that is rising the price up is the panic buyers rising the price because they are sure the price will go to da moon. Every single time.

best at mass killing !?!
Which ELO ranking of mass killers do you use to assert that?
the one which discard niggers as points or the one which discard communists? ( I presume you don't use the one which discard class ennemies)

Are you serious ?  Grin

No, I'm just trying to take your point of view.

That's not very serious, just a litlle bit sad, I must admit...

"fucking" maybe,
But "stupid" is a questionable attribute for communists, considering the paranoid scare you (or your older ideological clones) once felt about them...

I fear them cause they are the best at mass killing, that don't make them smart...

This is happening to me too.

Also the transaction list is missing some transactions that really are there in blockchain. I've tried to reset blockhain within Multibit, but it does not help.

+1

In my case, two 0.00000001 incoming transaction sent to the same old receiving adress (created and used once in march 2013)

I can feel it starting. Gox about to allow withdrawals soon. The bears capitulating and worriers turn into speculators, more fearful of missing out on the next big ramp.

You think so, really?
My bet is that goxticker soon will go from 1??$ to 4??$ without return, and we will immediatly experience a 6-12h long shutdown of the service.
And at the end of the day, all the (not so) smart pigs who placed sell order between 190 to 450 will eventually give cheap coins to the manipulators  Grin

and the surprise is?

to my knowledge there has yet to be a single long term business (years) whose main focus has been bitcoin that hasn't either

1) been hacked and lost a whole lotta stuff
2) pulled a runner
3) scammed everyone in some way
4) been shut down and lost peoples stuff

I think CampBX would qualify there.  Can't think of anybody else though.  Maybe Cassicus if you count that.

You can count BTC-24 too...

Re: Its a buyers market. Gox delay and prices plummeting. Whose buying now?
by
trepper
on 10/02/2014, 19:57:49 UTC
Yes there are many on BTC-e who has orders in $100-$300 range that never got filled in, it happened so fast that i think only a limited amount of people actually got to buy it at those prices before it shot up to $500+

If someone had orders at $200 that went unfulfilled, then there is no good reason at all why the price should go below this. The fact that it did, proves that these trading platforms (BTC-e and Bitfinex) are hooky, with front running facilities clearly being provided to selected parties.

For example, my 90 days+ old buy order @503 on Gox has never been fullfilled this morning, but I'm sure  it will tomorrow  Roll Eyes

Re: Will any long term holders admit to cashing out or wanting to cash out?
by

on 10/02/2014, 18:57:32 UTC
I figure that with the price declines over the last weeks that some long term holders may want to cash out because of the constant losses.

Has anyone here cashed out or are seriously thinking about it?

In fact, I've tried to cash in @503 (a 90 days+ old order!), gox ticker has fallen to 500, but gox never fullfiled my order.

Funny isn't it?

edit: but I'm quite sure it will fullfill it tomorrow, when the ticker will plunge to 300  Grin

No crash is coming. You're thinking in pre-2014 terms. Market sentiment is transformed now. Any selling in the future will happen slowly and deliberately as you can see from the past few weeks

Your btc market empathy is quite impressive !
