By the way: Tracking works in germany - one just has to check the GLS tracking with the RoyalMail number.

package arrived today - just - in a very desolate condition. all torn and put into a plastic bag.
all 16 sticks in there - but unfortunately 1 seems to be broken due to the very "friendly" handling at royal mail ;-( It's box was completely broken already and it denies to even start to run. Plugging it into my hub even kills off everything else on the hub.

I don't think so. It was stated that only those who had ordered up to a certain point (and are waiting now because items being late) are entitled. Everybody else coming after the fact knows about the delay.

well - had my fun with UPS in the past, too. Usually they claim that they tried to deliver twice but nobody was at home when I was sitting at home (with a day on vacation) waiting for them ...
But pickup at depot is a good idea. Let's hope they give him that option.

Das liegt daran, dass der pi keine eigene gepufferte Uhr hat.
Nach einem Neustart steht er dann auf 1970 und damit ist die gesamte Berechnung der Hashraten falsch.

Sobald der pi sich die aktuelle Uhrzeit via ntp gezogen hat, musst du einfach nur dafür sorgen, dass der miner auf dem pi neu gestartet wird, dann passts auch wieder.

Ich konnte meinen pi mit den folgenden Informationen erheblich stabiler (im Bezug auf das Zeitproblem) machen: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=224015.msg3086667#msg3086667
In der ntp.conf ist es für DE ausreichend, folgenden Server-Eintrag vorzunehmen: server de.pool.ntp.org iburst

lol - ok ... now that explains things a bit. Happens if you just register on a board so you can have read threads marked as read. Found out we "newbies" have some (reasonable) restrictions when I wanted to reply to a post about bitcoin-24 ... they meanwhile have an explanation up on their website!
