Come get some .027 up here in Washington State Smiley   God I love hydro electric power.

If it is so great (0.027 per kwh), why no business is trying to supply this to the struggling bitcoin miners. I've seen some indications here and there, but nothing substantial so far. They are either noneexistant or have so many orders that they don't bother to reply to emails and PMs  Sad

That would be a godsend.

From my digging cheap (relative) clean power is getting sold to California from producers in other states.  There's some shell games of what happens with the money, but someones or some groups are making out nice.  But given Californians are paying up to 0.35c for what's being produced and delivered elsewhere at 0.027, some entity is making a killing on the spread.  California Utilities have to supply x% of power from clean sources, they buy out of state to achieve this.  States who can supply the clean energy can mark up when selling to Cali and then provide their states own needs with cheaper sources.

6c sounds reasonable.

This shows the rate increase for SCE, but what they've actually put into place is higher than the increases being shown there.

Can anyone confirm that Southern California Edison just did a stealth rate increase to 0.35c kwh while also lowering baseline allocations?

Or was this actually planned for June 1st 2014?  There's no information about it.

I can't find anything online, but a SCE rep told me this was the case and that SCE was just at the mercy of another entity who pushed the rate through.  A lie, SCE actively lobbies this entity to screw it's customers and were there a increase it was 100% pushed by Edison.

On x13mod on a 290 rig i've found that my memory speed is bouncing between what I have it set at, 1250mhz, and 150mhz.  It continually drops to 150mhz and then regains to 1250mhz.  It happens roughly every 15seconds.  Still hashes, still submits, but this appears to be dropping hashing speed over time.

My 280x rig doesn't do this with same software.

Anybody else seeing this and any ideas?

This was fixed earlier by downloading MSI AB and then checking Unofficial overclock in the Settings.  Apparently this has something to do with the powertune.

I tried this without success.  I wonder if I need to set anything specific for powertune?  I'm at 0 now, but issue persisted at 20 as well.  The powertune lead makes sense because it appears memory is downclocking or throttling, though I'm not overclocking the cards (950c/1250m) and volts are untouched.

The issue has continued through AMD Drivers 13.12's, 14.4's and i'm on MSI AB beta 19.

Hello,

Just a question about a guy with account aqlbvvlb@10mail.org
He has been renting my rig and not paying for the second time already just to get me out of the price charts...
What can be done about this?

I'm getting the same behavior from one particular account that will rent my rigs but not pay and it leaves my rig and price sidelined for the duration of the shenanigans.  This has occurred only from this particular renter and it's happened multiple times.

Does this need to be reported via the ticket system or does something like this get snuffed out eventually?

I'm seeing,

"Not staking because you don't have mature coins"

from my windows wallet.

How long does it take for a coin to mature?  I have transactions with >1000 confirmations.

Given it's being repaired, is there an estimate for when SUM coin gets back in play for x11 multiport?

Wow, what a friggen joke.

So the scammers behind this coin are now openly rationalizing their keeping of a 28% premine and they care so little for the community that they'll just do it and pretend it's not a big deal?  Sorry, if you don't realize this was the intent all along, pull the rug out at a set time and turn their 2% premine into 30% premine, then I have a bridge I'd like to sell ya.  Makes you wonder what else these schemers have in store for folks they lure into the coin.

There's some great things in crypto and some great folks involved, but this coin is a really bad sign of where we are at if it keeps going.

Pure, complete BS and vying for scamcoin of the year, which is saying something.

Screw you guys, I'm pulling my miners off this joke.

Thanks for posting your findings. I am on the fence between TradeMyBit and Clevermining. CM has been my main pool after I dumped Middlecoin, Trade seems higher profitability than CM at the moment. What do you think?

You'll definately want to run 2-3 day trials between the two.  Trademybit is the most nimble pool i've been on, and in the current crypto world that is key.

Draw backs are in my experience are a consistenly lousy exchange rate gotten for mined coins when using autoexchange and high GF and RF in Cgminer/Sgminer which indicates communication problems with the server - not problems with mining settings or setup.  Multiple other pools same settings I have zero GF/RF issues though.

So as another example I just had a size 1000 WC go through the autoexchange setup at trademybit and it traded through at -20% to where the market was just before and just after the exchange from WC to BTC as done through the automated exchange setup at TMB.  Per coin value was .00000850btc as obtained by TMB's autoexchange, but the market for this coin was much higher just prior and just after this trade went through.  Perhaps the markets are super thin and the exchange crashes it, but this is a major affect on coin profitability if I mine when the coin is valued at xbtc/mh's, but the exchange system consistently gets 10-20% below the going market rate before and after the exchanges to btc are being made.

Edit: A following trade of WC as done by the autoexchange at TMB got much closer to the market rate, though here the trade was for a lot less WC.

I know I can manually do the exchange, but i'd like to see these exchange rates got for our mined coins not be consistently and in some cases substantially lower than where the market trades at just prior and just after the trade goes trough, or if this is unavoidable due to thin markets then have the value for mining the coin adjusted in some manner.

Been on and off the pool for awhile and I'm always drawn back due to the nice selection of coins, clear comms from the operator and the n-Scrypt side of the options available.

One of the nagging concerns I have that pushes me to other pools is that the auto exchange appears to me to be consistently getting ~10%+ below coin value on a per coin value expectation.  Can you consider adding a "value per coin as exchanged" type header to the auto-exchange batches information set that is found when going into the "Auto Exchange" portion of the website?  This would add some good info there and possibly allow for opportunities for improvement on this side of the pool?  I'm also making the post to see if there is something I'm unclear on here.

Currently for example, when I add "Your Credit" and "Your Fee" and divide by "Your Coin" I'm getting a value per coin that is far enough below where current and recent prices per coin are that it's 1) hitting profitability and 2) unclear as to why.
