I don't worry about the future anymore, future is just out of my control and I can't do anything about it. I just do what I gotta do and live in the present.

Re: Time Travel?

We actaully all travel in time. We travel one year in time between birthdays, for example. And we are all traveling in time at approximately the same speed: 1 second per second. We can't use a time machine to travel hundreds of years into the past or future. That kind of time travel only happens in books and movies. But the math of time travel does affect the things we use every day.

Re: How did YOU start trading in bitcoin?

Hello everyone!  Grin
I am a starting player at the BTCitcoin trading world- haven't bought any yet.
Just a young man looking for investing his money from high school, and I don't know where to start! Smiley

How did you start trading in bitcoin?
How could I do that too?
Do you have any tips for begginers?

 Huh

Happy 2021 -Tzutzik

First of all before you jump in on buying/trading Bitcoin, you should understand the technology behind the bitcoin first which is blockchain, and then how cryptocurrency trading works, what are coins/tokens to look forward and to avoid, where to store your crypto and last but not the list is to choose the right cryptocurrency exchange. You might wanna see this Bitcoin for Beginners guide from cointelegraph.

Literally though they need to learn the basics before getting into cryptocurrency, especially if they wanted to get into trading and not investing - they should learn how to read the charts and analyze how the market works and moves so they won't get left behind and obviously won't lose their investments in a snap.

Re: Trading bot vs. you -> who's better?
by

There's a big difference between manual trading and using trading bot. Manual trading requires a lot of time to lear things like Analysing the market, checking how market conditions evolve, Evaluating the impact of the market moves on the profit and loss of his positions and etc... In short, you need a lot of time to do all that while the trading bot just do it straight away because they're already programmed to do it.

If you want to trade bigger coins like BTC I think it'd be safer to use a trading bot, besides using a tool like that gives advantages like no normal traders can do like how they don't sleep, how they're fast, how smart they are and how they trade without emotions or feelings.

BUT, It’s probably impossible to beat a professional trader. Experience plays a crucial role in managing stress and developing an advanced trading system. Sadly, traders that reach these high level of proficiency are very few. Only a very low percentage out of millions of people trading cryptocurrencies or traditional assets every day are professional.

Probably running, there's something to it that I can't quite explain. Like when you're running, you train your mind to just focus on the goal and I guess that's peaceful in my part.

Re: How many of you use "Crypto Prediction Applications" for trading?

Stop relying on these tools and just study how to read a certain chart, It'd be more accurate and could bring you an even greater fortune. Trading without the right knowledge and use of technical analysis is like tossing a coin. There is an equal probability of profit and loss. It helps traders identify the proper entry and exit points, I.e. it helps to identify the right time to invest in the stocks and again the right time to withdraw the money with profits. Identifying this right time can actually make a lot of difference in the trading world.

Not to mention that it helps us, traders to understand the market conditions in a simple manner with the help of basic charts and patterns. Technical analysis thereby makes it very simple and time efficient for a trader. Thus the correct technical analysis is one of the most important aspects of a trader’s life. If you learn the basics, then try reading the BTC to practice. Goodluck!

I think if you're a busy person pre-covid, you should take advantage of this time to do the things you had no time to do before. While the others who literally don't know what to do with their time while at home should start taking new hobbies or start spending time with their families.

First, stop giving a FCK about what others might interpret about your phrases and opinions. And then be sincere with what you say, ask questions a lot and obviously questions that are innocent and can be understood well by others.

Re: Are there any relationship between Gold and Bitcoin ?
by

on 31/01/2021, 14:56:51 UTC
We have no way of truly attaching a hard value to an ounce of gold, and it is not used as a currency. However, faith in the metal itself keeps it valuable – the value of gold is in the minds of those trading it - Bitcoin is valuable because those trading Bitcoin consider it to be valuable.  Both are of limited quantity; both are considered a hedge; both are seen as an anti-fiat currency.

In many ways, Bitcoin seemed to be designed – whether intentionally or not – as a virtual form of gold. ]

I can only find their similiraties but in the eyes of most people, bitcoin and gold are in competition and would be trying to fight each other by increasing their values.

I personally think that the doge pump was the start of the altseason, after that pump which was over 600% up a lot of other coins started pumping as well.

Re: Trading BTC / ETH and selected alts
by
trickbergen5
on 25/01/2021, 15:06:04 UTC
Hi, I was thinking of trading between BTC, ETH and maybe a few others such as DOT and ADA but the fact that most traders trade between BTC / USDT or ETH / USDT etc suggests that it's probably a dumb idea that will cost me money. The fact that I need to ask this question probably suggests I shouldn't try it but it seems to me that they go up and down in spurts.

For example ETH has just had a bit of a pump whilst Bitcoin is has been up and down so I've traded some ETH for BTC hoping that I can catch a raise from BTC whilst avoiding any potential correction on ETH. I was wondering if this kind of strategy is something that many people have tried and had much success with or had any bad experiences with?

If you're a hard trader or a daily trader I suggest you try grid trading bot. The alts you've mentioned have a great volume in every top tier crypto exchanges like KuCoin,Binance etc.

Also trading via grid trading bot is very easy now, you just have to set your bot on a good entry price and your money will be fine.

Btw here's the link if you wanna see how good the volume is for most of coins/tokens on KuCoin especially BTC & ETH:
BTC-USDT: https://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT
ETH-USDT: https://trade.kucoin.com/ETH-USDT

ETH Volatility and BTC volatility doesnt have that much difference to be honest, I actually used to do the strategy that he was talking before, I do swing trades most of the time but I do hodl as well. Trading via bots are a good decision but you gotta be good at reading the volatility too just like trading but with bot, it will help you to lessen the lose that you can get.

That's because ETH most of the time follows BTC price but these ETH seems to be outperforming BTC. The so-called king of coins have tumbled a lot the last few days falling as much as 31% and never touching the $41k again while Ethereum has continued to aim higher with now aiming for a new ATH.

Trading will be hard for some because of this though, ethereum has a mixed technical outlook although this is just part of the beginning of the parabolic pump that was seen last 2017, that is why you should be careful with your trades, come up with fair judgments to avoid getting hit in your weakest point.

I don't think I am good at handling stress, I'd just be quite for a few days and think things through - stress costs me a week or two before i fully recover, I'd be quite for the first 3 days then I try to calm myself by watching funny tv shows the next or perhaps discover new music from different genres, sometimes I go for a drive alone and try forgetting the stressful things for a while.

Buy when the price has been stable for weeks or days, I have done this thrice and the coin I invested either pumped a little or pumped big. It's not proven though, that this is usually the case but IN MY CASE It does happen.
