Re: Eth will back to 500$
by
tristan1960
on 22/08/2018, 23:23:57 UTC
Hope that happened and happen very soon as I even expect ethereum to go as high as $1,000 before end of this year.  Many investors buy ethereum around $1,000 and some just a little below $900 and now ethereum is just around $279.

Agree with you!

Who buy eth around 900$ very upset to see such a situation on the market. But if you are not among them, you now have BIG advantage!
Buy at such a price - a great gift for investors.
Everyone concern is about ETH now, and I know more investors will come to pump this coin so $500 is easy to hit by ETH. If we start the bull run again, expect the price to rise but for now just buy more ETH while its price are playing around $270-$300 you might see this price again next month because we are already on a higher level that time. ETH will grow again along with other great coins, believe on that.

The first main target for ethereum is $400 zone and then it will target $775 with respect to the technical analysis charts. Then $1,000 will be a psychologic border to get passed and then the rest is a space. Too much room for growth anyway.

Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading?
by

Yeah, I'm not disappointed because I don't trade all that much.  Over the years I've learned that I don't like taking losses and don't have the constitution of a real trader.   So I'm now mainly a buy-and-hold investor.  Much less anxiety doing it that way.
Yes. We are the same, I am not also a full time trader. I am busy in life, I just buy and forget. I hold every coin for long term. Day trading is really risky, there is no 100% guarantee when you are doing trading. You should know the how trading works, it is very risky.

I'm not totally disappointed in trading, but I expected much bigger profits, I made loss during the last bear market and I don't know how to recover my loss by trading more than ever. It's just complicated to make profit in trading.

Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ?
by

I think you should since investing in cryptocurrencies is a new way of turning your fiat money into an asset but remember to do it wisely like give it all if it is an excess money so that you could avoid bankruptcy in the future.

To me, etherum is super cheap now compared to old high prices. Other tokens and coins are cheap as well, but ethereum is the second best after bitcoin and you can buy some to be a long term investor in it.

Re: Bitcoin lower than $6000? Is it possible?
by
tristan1960
on 13/02/2018, 17:03:47 UTC
Theoretically it is, being that the nature of bitcoin is highly volatile, but come to think of it, this is just a part of bitcoin's value getting a correction, if we can still remember, way back in december, there were people who are not investors that came in to play, they have bought bitcoin at a higher price, and those who had bought if at lower price will normally just take profit, leaving the weak hands behind, thus a drop in the price of bitcoin, and now we are clearly seeing the correction in the market, and that's the reason why the price is not going up by 50% or going down by 50%.

This happened last week and none of the people were surprised because of this. Bitcoin markets are so volatile and any price is highly possible in the markets. We can't avoid this.
Well we can't say that no one was surprised. That was quite a big drop from 20k ath but none the less, those who knew what they were doing and what they've gotten themselves into most likely didn't panic. A lot.of people loat loney during that correction basically because they didn't have enough information about what they're doing

Anything is possible on crypto markets but no matter what we will hold our tokens. Even lower prices would be real but the important part is being patient while the market going down to enjoy it in the future!

Re: What is the most stable altcoin?

Whats wrong with Tether?   Grin

They are all volatile coins, you just need to find one that is less volatile. That's quite difficult since all coins are affected by these dips. Investing long term is possibly the best way to go, don't panic sell when you see coinmarketcap go red. Thats the best time to invest and then hold.

It's clearly tether but investing in it is not meaningful. The most stable one is ethereum and its price also goes up with high demand.

Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable?
by
tristan1960
on 05/01/2018, 18:23:42 UTC
I was a trader awhile back, I want to say about a year ago now and wanted to know what the current state of the market is for the traders that are currently trading to this day? I know a lot of the current exchanges that I used for trading, such as Poloniex, are still around but aren't really being used much as before.

I wasn't able to profit much but would like to hear how people are doing these days. Thanks a ton!
For now, holding is a lot more profitable than trading. I admit that trading altcoin right now is very hard because the market is so bad

There is no end of the profitability in holding and trading. They're bot profitable ones with high income levels if the Money flows through crypto markets. Then we observe sharp movements in the market resulting in profits.

Some people claim that ripple is undervalued now, this is not true and I can't believe how they say this. Ripple is hype now. Know this first please. For me, ethereum, bitcoin and dimcoin are the undervalued coins.

Re: You should NOT be buying altcoins now!

For the most part this is sound advice, but there are still opportunities, even when alts are over inflated (if you can catch the right ones at the right time). BTC is on the rise again and will probably dump once it hits $20k, $25k, $30k etc. leaving lots of opportunities to grab alts. Your friend will probably lose money short term, but a few months from now, he'll still probably make a reasonable profit. I sat on my Ripple for 4 months while it stagnated, thinking I'd made a mistake, but it proved out in the end.

$25k and $30k are not possible targets for the near future. They're for Q2 in this year. When this happens, the price of altcoins will be dumped easily. This is a fact. And it's better to have some bitcoin in your portfolio, even small amount of it.

Re: Sell BTC for Cash
by
tristan1960
on 04/01/2018, 00:53:00 UTC
Selling bitcoin for cash is a simple form of trading, but the complication felt is that it requires a banking link for each and every trade. Maybe this will cause a taxation issue for the trader. In some countries the taxation too is made upon the transaction we make with relation to the bitcoin buying and selling.

For the bitcoin atm machines, I never heard of a taxation process so far. Maybe it's tax free or the machine charges the tax with its usage fee, I've never used it before. If he deals with a local buyer, he wouldn't pay tax actually, it's only $2k as he tells.

Thanks for the work located in the first post, first. Once I hear privacy, only two coins come to my mind: Monero and Zcash. They're the dominating factors of the privacy blockchain. There are dozens of competitors on the market, but the greatest shares are belong to Monero and Zcash.

Actually im shocked about cardano price right now and didn't grab the chance to buy it on cheaper price but im predicting yes it will hit $3 on Q1

I even found $0.5 expensive and I also didn't grab a bit from ADA. Now this is a regret for me, I could have made 2x in my portoflio, anyway keep fighting to find the next big things on the market.

Re: BUYING ALTCOINS WITH " PAIRINGS "
by
tristan1960
on 03/01/2018, 14:59:46 UTC
The format is AAA/BBB in this case. The first AAA indicates the asset you buy or you sell. The second BBB indicates your trade method, this can be USDT, BTC, ETH or something else. If you make profit, it's calculated based on BBB type.

Re: When do you plan to sell?
by
tristan1960
on 03/01/2018, 14:47:13 UTC
My ultimative plan is to hold on to bitcoin until it reaches the value of 100k. And if it doesnt reach the price and instead goes down im not concerned because i see the money anyways at lost so i dont care

Nice value but I don't know if we can really see those levels in bitcoin in the near future.

For ethereum to get $5,000 would be much more easier than this in 2018 or at most 2019, I guess.

Hi Guys,

Which share you think will be a good short term one, I am still doubting between Kucoin and Nvst.
Thx

Kucoin is a good one with exchange shares. But I don't know the other. I can recommend you to check Ardor, Veritaseum. They also have the potential for possible gains.

Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's?
by
tristan1960
on 03/01/2018, 14:03:11 UTC
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
Yes it is generically they are providing advertising groups for their COIN/TOKEN to have a more profitable ways through the internet. Almost all ICO's are successful and they profit more than expected. So all the investors benefit from it too. Not only you can be with ease and the coin creators literally provide exposure all you have to do is to watch the price to jump high and sell for the expected price or profit you want.

Dependent on the project, it's actually very safe. And when you get into a good-promising project, you can multiply your initial investment by 5 or 10 times. This is reality. The thing is seeking the best initial coin offerings always.

by

on 30/12/2017, 22:14:17 UTC
respect my question. i just want to know more about trading and study it for the most reliable and trusted exchanger.

I used to be a supporter of hitbtc, but in last 2 months they are really terrible. Just look how they are treating XEM/NEM deposits and operations (blocked from a week). Then before XEM/NEM problems I've noticed similar for other currencies.

Now I'm using Kucoin for 95% of my trades.

I really wonder the advantages of Kucoin excahnge. Can you tell us a bit?

I used hitbtc frequently, but they don't care for customer tickets. Binance also worked fine this year.

Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin?
by
tristan1960
on 08/12/2017, 15:55:51 UTC
For profit of course, traders, investors - thats what we are in for. Some are in because they believe in the cause, some people use it for their shops and etc.

I hold bitcoin to resist against money inflation. In my country, prices are going higher and my local currency is not good to resist this inflation. That's why I use and buy bitcoin.

Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC?
by
tristan1960
on 08/12/2017, 15:38:07 UTC
I think they know the existence of bitcoin, and surely they invest in bitcoin, because bitcoin is currently popular with its skyrocketing price, arguably it's an opportunity for billionaires to make a profit. But maybe not all billionaires are investing in bitcoins.
Of course, Bitcoin is truly a phenomenon and it is so popular in the investing world, it brings super profits, any investor can not resist its appeal, the billionaire is just the traders and investors, bitcoin also has great appeal to them, they will not miss a chance to make great money like bitcoin. So they invested in bitcoin is a sure thing, not long ago, I also think they only know bitcoin and they do not invest because they have their job, they have too much money, they do not need to invest in bitcoin, however, now I realize they are lying, they invest a lot of money in bitcoin, they even pump the price of bitcoin up dramatically to make a profit

They should be investing in bitcoin. They publicly say that bitcoin is kinda scam, but they should be buying bitcoin secretly. This is a reality for extremely rich businessmen.

Re: Will it hit 20K $ by end of 2017
by
tristan1960
on 06/12/2017, 21:01:54 UTC
No,it will not reach $20K by end of this year because the price is swinging inbetwwen $11K and $12K so there maybe a price correction will occur soon so there is chance for price getting fall.I think the bitcoin will reach $13K by end of this year maybe bitcoin will reach $20K by end of 2018.
I guess too that bitcoin value reach $20,000 next year 2018, but for this year I think it's not. That amount was too much high, even though bitcoin price is rapidly raising up I believe that three remaining weeks is not enough to touch $20,000.

Moreover, I'm pretty sure that this quickly increasing of bitcoin price will be breaks on the third weeks of the year. In addition in my estimation bitcoin before end of this year will play into $10,000 up to $15,000.

The current price is even more than enough for this year.

I'm sure next year we will see something really different. Imagine the first half of this year, the maximum price was around $2,500 or $3,000 if I'm not wrong, but the result is very high.

Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins.
by
tristan1960
on 06/12/2017, 18:29:54 UTC
Always diversified way of investing is the one that can let us grow, rather than keeping hold of a single asset. Altcoins were the one that creates possibility to earn. Price moves at present is peaking with bitcoin compared to that of the altcoins that always have the dependence upon the market of bitcoin as well.

I will support the Bitcoin sure.Because all in this forum know that, inverse in bitcoin is always better than inverse in gold which means,it will give you more returns for your investment. But if you have small amount of money means, you can choose Ethereum or Waves for your future.

Everbody should support bitcoin because it's the most important actor of the crypto world. Without bitcoin, the rest can't survive and they will collapse. However we should beware of some good altcoin presence in the market as well.
