I'm pleased to say that I've been invited back into the HYPER dev team after choosing to leave during September. My primarily role on the team will be partaking in the development of our upcoming MMO, which I most certainly will have a great time working on. Great to be back with you all.

Hate to be "that guy" but didn't you peace on Hyper without warning really earlier last year?
I am surprised Hyperfuture trusts you this time around. What happens when another coin or project attracts your eye? The MMO is a very long term project.

Since alpha testing is underway could someone please post some screenshots of the upcoming Web wallet? I want to see it!!
Also, any chance of a "Hypervault" option where a larger balance could be moved into a wallet where additional verifications (maybe a second email address 2FA) are needed before moving funds out, and maybe a time delay before the withdrawal? I think providing this option of more permanent storage would encourage users to hold and get more Hyper over time. we could also point them to the SimpleHyper paper wallet creator as that seems to work pretty well

Oh I agree definately all respect for Hyper wealthy users they are the ones driving the value and giving the rest of us something worth gaming for!

Actually looks like it is 40.3 BTC of buys sitting on Bittrex. I think people are excited for the whitepaper to say the least!!! Any plans to expand into Xbox or PS4 gaming? Big markets if we get there first

Source plugins for automatic HYPER integration in all game servers should be done in a month or two so anyone can easily set up a HYPER game server with minimal tech knowledge. For now you could start one and use manual deposits and withdrawals on the HYPER forum at http://hypercrypto.com/forum. Hope that helps
Feed The Beast doesn't use the source engine, so the game server plugins won't apply for FTB servers. Atm, you can incorporate manual deposits and withdrawals as HYPERfuture has described. You can also try to set up a script that reads the server logs and execute transactions automatically, although this may not be the most efficient way of doing it. A better alternative for these types of servers will be investigated soon! If anyone has ideas, feel free to discuss.
Maybe when the API for the anon HYPER web wallet is released then? No rush on that I know there are a lot of projects on the table right now!

REMEMBER , we all sweated and worked hard to get to where we are today.... Hm let's make those 2 bullwhales battling each other for coins sweat as well. Understand how precious every little slice of the Hyper network may be when we have 100s, then 1000s of successful game servers running 24/7/365 in hundreds of countries. The devs say the disruptive game currency for a reason. This one will disrupt if we all keep the faith and continue adding games to the menu. We are already a gamers delight now we need to do stuff with Twitch or maybe sponsor some tournaments? Just my 2 Hyper's

Also in that video you may want to mention that 9,000 merchants already accept HYPER through CoinPayments.net, and it takes literally only 5 minutes for any merchant, musician, freelancer or anyone else to sign up and begin accepting HYPER and several other popular alts as well as BTC all on one donation or shopping cart page.
Still experimenting with their service but it is definately user friendly, they are based in Canada (so reasonable laws and legit)

Yes I can do this. Right now I'm insane with Teaching...2 gigs this weekend....2 of my 4 kids are sick. I'll take a look tomorrow (Sunday) and try to find a roadmap for getting it done in my schedule through the next week.

Overview video and Gaming Tutorial appeals as a splash to the product. but the ecosystem needs less flashy tutorials for the "moving parts" of the ecosystem or new comers may think it is a bit gimmicky. could we remove the number of players from the HyperGG if it's zero players in that game? Looks bad seeing 0/32 or whatever would be better if it only showed player numbers for rooms/games where there is at least one person in there.

And is anyone watching this ORDER BOOK on Bittrex, holy gosh damn. Someone wants to put a ring on it. This run up in price is especially cool since litecoin is dying so quickly everyone is afraid. We are the unafraid dwarf kings of the alt coins right now

Very obvious at this point 2 or 3 big whales are trying to buy up a decent lot of Hyper without rocking the boat too much, then they sell to scare off people and get cheap coins. We all need to be a little greedy, 20000 satoshis isn't cool, you know what's cool? 200000 satoshis! Haha but seriously let's consider how lucky we are many alts are dying and whales are trying to buy us up, my guess is it may be because of SaruTobi people can see how much that game increased bitcoin's blockchain transactions in a short amount of time and some big bitcoin whales are probably fishing around putting money into any game alts that look promising because SaruTobi woke everyone up to how big things can get when gaming is linked in to it

We are now the second most traded coin on Bittrex. This thing can skyrocket if one or two of you stop being lazy / ignorant
What do I mean? Bittrex is not a wallet for your coins. Storing them there earns you no coins through staking! Stake your wallet instead and sell when you're ready! Leaving large amt of coin on the sell wall way above current price does nothing. It discourages newcomers from buying as they see that and think another rally is impossible. You also won't miss a chance to sell as price goes up. Filling up the sell wall is stupid. We should make the most of this opportunity more than 1100 BTC per DAY trade on bittrex and all eyes are on our rare coin today Be smart and we will do just fine...

This is a quality coin the rest of the community is beginning to value Hyper for the innovation play it is, like Geifer said on twitter people are also leaving Paycoin and we are right next to them on Bittrex so we are benefiting from the misfortune/scamminess of another coin... "Lucky to have good luck" as the saying goes or whatever I don't care it's going up

I'm totally on board, and appreciate the fast reply from hyperfuture to get the new wallet version loaded on my computer. Seeing more coins in my wallet every day just for staying online is a great feeling

It works now! Going to play with the new wallet later today looks beautiful, this thing puts bitcoin-qt and electrum to shame!!! Now if only we could get the wallet in front of more gamers' eyes, can someone post a video of the new wallet? I think this thing is so cool that just showing it off will get a lot of positive attention

1.) We have a backup block explorer I organized yesterday at http://blocks.luckyalt.com:3008/
2.) Most crypto wallets give false positives in anti virus. Can certainly see if PalmDetroit our main wallet developer can solve this issue. PalmDetroit has been developing coins for years and I highly doubt he would include a virus in the release. What version did you upgrade from? Sounds like you might need to use the new bootstrap if you have an older version than 1.5.2.1. Instructions for upgrading (from OP): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=624651.msg9748799#msg9748799 Please confirm ASAP if you were upgrading from earlier wallet than 1.5.2.1 (and then need the bootstrap) or if this is a legitimate issue we need to solve.
3.) The dev has put a lot of work into the Poker site. Considering the time vs HYPER bounty reward he is basically volunteering. Plus it is the holiday season have some patience!
4.) Website should have been done by now. As it is the holiday season I am having some patience myself but if I haven't heard back from the website dev within a week someone else will be doing it.

1) The Block explorer isn't loading for some of us, and it's kind of ugly. Can meowball or someone else design a "Hyper quality" block explorer? Think the community's at the size where we need one, it's fun checking our balances.
2) Downloaded the new beta Windows wallet, first Windows Defender warned me that the program might contain dangerous files. We shouldn't have this happening. Are we certain there's no viruses inside of this release? Then, a couple seconds after the loading screen appears, it says failed to open blkindex.dat and closes down. Does this every time, so I can't use it. Back to the old version for me for now unless someone has a workaround.
3) Sorry to hear one of the dev's is having family issues, but HYPER-only poker site was promised by now. If deposits/withdrawals are working, time to end the beta testing and allow people to deposit. This could be a very very big growth area for us!!!

Thanks for the fast answer! Yes it's earlier than 1.5.2.1. so i'll give the bootstrap instructions a try.
1.) We have a backup block explorer I organized yesterday at http://blocks.luckyalt.com:3008/
2.) Most crypto wallets give false positives in anti virus. Can certainly see if PalmDetroit our main wallet developer can solve this issue. PalmDetroit has been developing coins for years and I highly doubt he would include a virus in the release. What version did you upgrade from? Sounds like you might need to use the new bootstrap if you have an older version than 1.5.2.1. Instructions for upgrading (from OP): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=624651.msg9748799#msg9748799 Please confirm ASAP if you were upgrading from earlier wallet than 1.5.2.1 (and then need the bootstrap) or if this is a legitimate issue we need to solve.
3.) The dev has put a lot of work into the Poker site. Considering the time vs HYPER bounty reward he is basically volunteering. Plus it is the holiday season have some patience!
4.) Website should have been done by now. As it is the holiday season I am having some patience myself but if I haven't heard back from the website dev within a week someone else will be doing it.

Some kinda urgent stuff:
1) The Block explorer isn't loading for some of us, and it's kind of ugly. Can meowball or someone else design a "Hyper quality" block explorer? Think the community's at the size where we need one, it's fun checking our balances.
2) Downloaded the new beta Windows wallet, first Windows Defender warned me that the program might contain dangerous files. We shouldn't have this happening. Are we certain there's no viruses inside of this release? Then, a couple seconds after the loading screen appears, it says failed to open blkindex.dat and closes down. Does this every time, so I can't use it. Back to the old version for me for now unless someone has a workaround.
3) Sorry to hear one of the dev's is having family issues, but HYPER-only poker site was promised by now. If deposits/withdrawals are working, time to end the beta testing and allow people to deposit. This could be a very very big growth area for us!!!
