[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.9 (Windows/Linux)

A very weird thing is happening with my RX 480 8GB. Overclocking memory gives me this:

Setting DAG epoch #201 for GPU0
Create GPU buffer for GPU0

And then reporting continuously 0.000 Mh/s. Any alteration to -mclock other than the value 2000, which is what the default clock is set to, will cause 0.000 Mh/s.

I have 5 other RX 580 cards running just fine on the same rig. Ample amount of virtual memory. I don't use any software. I use Claymore to apply overclocks. When I set the memory to 2000 it runs at 29.6 Mh/s without problem which fine but it has samsung memory and I'd like to try see what it can do. BIOS is unchanged except for memory straps.

what was the specified value in  -mvddc ?

I have core and memory set to 860. HWInfo 64 says core is running at 0.988 V though. Another weird thing is that if I put a number lower than 2000, it also messes it up. 0.000 Mh/s.

Just try with 930 or 900...

Thanks that worked. I feel really silly now.

Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System

I've got a 6 card rig (RX580 Aorus) that's pulling 950W from the wall on power stage 0, 1100cc, 2170mc, 850mv.

It's doing roughly 180MH/s but clearly the power draw is way too much with these settings. I estimate they use about 145W each.

I'm suspecting that my system is not undervolted but I can't figure out why. Does "RX OS dagfix version" have anything to do with it? If that's the case I don't know where that setting is located.

I'm using Version v3042.

Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax

I've been mining for a day now and I haven't gotten the ZLC wallet to work. Downloaded the GUI wallet from their website and the wallet didn't sync, I did however manage to get an address and started mining to that adress. I tested a bunch of versions now trying to get it to sync. I just have one question really. I didn't make a .tar backup file of the wallet that I got the address from. Does that mean I won't be able to access the wallet whatsoever? I have the ZClassic folder that is stored in the %appdata% folder.

Help appreciated!

@dstm

Looks like DSTM is not compatible with FlyPool, got error all the time:

"Connection rejected by server R.0"

Here is my line:

zm --server asia1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user MyWallet.MyWorker

i tried already all available Servers Name (Asia, CN, EU) and Ports (3333, 13333, 3443) but the problem persist..

will look forward on your future development..

currently stick with EWBF Smiley

I'm using flypool and DSTM.

Your --user should just be your wallet adress, nothing else.

This is my line:
zm --server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user t1XtiGPVNy8nz9BgxHVj9v2nCoaHe7sqq8U

How do all of you exchange ZEN into BTC? Bittrex has closed for new users (which I am) because of traffic and I haven't really found any alternatives.

Just don't do it, hold ZEN!
So undervalued.

I just want to establish the whole chain from miner to my bank account ergo I need an exchanger. I'm trying out Cryptopia. Does anyone have any experience with mining directly to Cryptopia?

Hello everyone!

Sorry for being an absolute idiot but I don't know how to configure my zm file. I'm very new to this. I know my wallet address but if someone could tell me how to configure the file and recommend a good pool to mine I'd appreciate it. I'm running one 1070ti.

If you're on windows you can use the provided 'start.bat' file as an example. All you need to change is the '--user ...' option in that file. Change the example wallet address which follows the '--user' option with yours. That way you'll mine to your wallet using flypool. You can also check the documentation provided by the pools, they often include examples how to setup different mining software.

Thanks! I eventually figured it out. Really appreciate you helping!
