Yes, but most of them are falling back down in price. They were probably only being pumped.

Is there any new tech or feature that account for the infinitecoin price increase?

Re: Why do so many people refuse to sell losing coins?

There are always people who buy a tiny amount of an alt coin and hold it when it crashes because they cannot be bothered dumping it for a few cents. Thousands of those people cumulatively hold a large percentage of the distribution.
The price of XRP has been pretty stable for 2 or 3 months but has now dropped to levels not seen since 11/14. Could this be Ripple selling XRP to pay their government fine?
LOL. Wow if true... That's like a corrupt third world country would do. Tax its own people higher to pay for its debts (money that went in their own pockets).
I don't think they dump them directly on the open market, they sell them to re-sellers who can dump them if they want to.
I am also a native Chinese. I don't agree those saying China ever "banned" bitcoin. It is pure FUD. If China truely "banned" btc as they said, why does this country hold largest coin trading volumn and owns biggest mines and hash rate?
Gov only said it is not a currency issued by the country, and investment should only be made with caution due to volatility. Banks are, however, very negative towards cryto currency related business. This is understandable because bitcoin is by defination MONEY WITHOUT BANKS.
So, BTC is deemed as normal goods by the government. Nobody is arrested for owning or trading btc in China.
In fact there are quite a lot of creative and hard working people trying to innovate with bitcoin technology. OKLink is just an example.
Well that must suck. If they see BTC as goods and not as a foreign currency it just means you are forced to pay VAT for conversions. They should learn from Spain and make it VAT-free.
The way people interpret the Chinese regulations changes every day, I believe. I also think that the Spanish or also German approach to taxing and classifying Bitcoin is the best way to go. But maybe some governments don't actually want to help Bitcoin but rather want to keep it down or destroy it?(!)
The European banks seem more interested in destroying bitcoin than the governments. They often close bitcoiner's accounts without giving any reason. It demonstrates how anti-bitcoin the banks are.
11/07/2014 They said the support was holding at $650, the bottom must be in! it could only go up after some side ways! .. 11/10/2014 They said the support was holding at $420, the bottom must be in! it could only go up after some side ways! .. 11/01/2015 They said the support was holding at $260, the bottom must be in! it could only go up after some side ways! .. 11/04/2015 They said the support is holding at $230, the bottom is in! it will only go up after some side ways! .. 11/07/2015 They will say the support is holding at $30, the bottom is in! it will only go up after some side ways! ..
Well they suck!
There is no bottom until $0 for bitcoin's final capitulation, Can't believe that they are still lying like this today!
Don't ever listen to bulltards again! They got you once you buy their sinking bitcoin ponzi coin bags!
The only thing going to zero is OP's credibility.
If Bitcoin goes to $0 and you live in a country where it's made illegal and you get a massive fine for possession, then the bottom could be less than $0 in that country. After deducting the fine off $0 a Bitcoin would be worth a negative number of dollars.
I invested and got my investment back plus a reasonable amount, and still have some BTC as well for a free lottery ticket. Nothing to write home about, but net positive on BTC and USD. Since the Gox fiasco I haven't traded at all (took a minor loss there) and just holding now.
Is there any hope you can get your money back from Gox? You could have a healthy profit if they ever pay you back.
Here we are once again. I hope we all endure another Friday the 13th without incident. Just to be safe, don't step on any cracks or cross paths with black cats.
If you meet a black cat on Friday the 13th do you get good luck, bad luck, or both?

Re: [ANN][EAC] EarthCoin - EAC v1.3.2 Now Available!
This address had 0 EAC on 2015-02-14 09:16:47. Someone started joining his money from many addresses and now he has 750 M. There are many addresses like this one, where someone is joining money.
Couldn't that be an exchange moving coins around?
I fully expect someone to own over 50% of EARTH, but I don't think that's hard proof.
Anybody have any better opinion? TIA
I think this could be an exchange, but these coins were moved from private addresses. Someone is charging his Cryptsy account and preparing for rally. This 750 M is the small part of his 50-70%
Someone had a giant wall buying at rock bottom prices a few months ago. It might be him.
