Social media is a versatile platform to promote every hell of a thing. And Crypto currencies like Bitcoin are no way behind. Social media is a great space to bring out the new ideas like Bitcoin and what not.

It revolutionizes these ideas and it is through social media that many a people acquire their first ever acquaintance with Crypto currency.

So yea social media has its part in rise of the community.

May be may be not. But the history says that it always drop in mid of jan.
Then we just hope history doesn't repeat itself Wink

Because I'm really hoping for an all time high in the Bitcoin price and all we can do is hope because we can never be sure here in the Crypto market.

I really like the idea of Bitcoin touching $22k but seems difficult at the same time.

P.S. : let's keep the hope alive!!

Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin
Bitcoin is a vast field. You can't just grasp the whole concept on reading an article, book or attending an online tutorial. The field is vast enough to have hell lot of topics contained within it.

Everytime i read something about Bitcoin, I feel astound. It never fails to surprise me with its huge potential. I read news about it, i surf web engines, i explore the forum, i go through the different books written on the subject. And the best part is i never fell bored or extinguished. It always increases my thirst for acquiring more knowledge. I have acquired so much interest in the topic that i love to explore the market more n more.

And it was a friend of mine who told me about Bitcoin. And I'm very thankful to him because it has really made my life better.

also i don't fail to share this topic with others. I encourage my friends to participate in this field. Because investment in Bitcoin is like no other!!

Re: BITCOIN PRICE
by

on 01/01/2018, 17:45:14 UTC
It would not be likely I think, because Bitcoin has gone through several big dumps from 20000 dollars, and still stand over 10000 dollars.
It's just like shooting an arrow in dark. The future in the Crypto world is very uncertain. You never know the next move.

Since last month Bitcoin and even other altcoins in the Crypto market have seen huge dumps in their prices. The trends have been quite surprising.

But still i feel in 2k18 Bitcoin is sure to rise. And i don't think it will lessen below $10k.

Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic
by
ttlnnt
on 01/01/2018, 06:56:06 UTC
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.
Obviously when a balance between the both :being smart and strategic isn't struck, then you're probably gonna lag behind somewhere or the other place.

That's simple because if you act smart alone without having any tact to survive in the competition, you're gonna fail badly.

While when you're both smart n strategic at the same time, that's a deadly combination to shine in the Crypto world

Well i won't say it saved my year or so but yea it was a good year for me because of the profits i made out of my investment in Bitcoin. It was probably because the time favored me and i invested just at the right time when the value touched heights and my investment multiplied so many times.

Re: Should I hold BTC 0.05 for future ?
by
ttlnnt
on 30/12/2017, 18:01:00 UTC
Dear audience I have 0.05 BTC should I hold it for future value ? In recent time the market is very dumping so that feeling little scared.
The amount is not very necessary I can hold it if the market will raise

What answer is going to satisfy you here? And why would you take some random person on the internet's opinion on this? I think you've already answered your own question, though. If that amount isn't very significant to you then you need to ask yourself how much do you believe in bitcoin and whether you're willing to take the gamble on it? If you believe in bitcoin and think the price will rise due to demand at some point in the future then keep on holding it... especially if you're willing to take the gamble and can afford to lose such an amount. If you don't believe in bitcoin and think it will crash or are even just very fearful of that then you're probably better off selling it. Hope that helps.
Exactly that's upto you. Everyone here can just make a prediction and they will have their own reasons to support their predictions. There is nobody who can assure you a fixed value that a Bitcoin may take up. So if you have some valid reasons to believe an upsurge is gonna follow this dump, just wait for some time. But if you believe the other way, go by your instinct.

Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die?
by
ttlnnt
on 29/12/2017, 20:23:44 UTC
Well, if you have a substantial amounts of bitcoins which can effect your heirs life in a positive way, I will recommend you to add it to your will. Don't mention the private key to your will, instead store the details of your bitcoin wallet in a secure location in your laptop or PC or in a piece of paper and mention that location details to your will, so that your heirs can find it after your death.

Else, have some faith on your wife and tell her everything about your bitcoins. Let her know how to access it and ask her to distribute it among your children after your death. But if you are holding a very small amount, then it's not worth having the bitcoin details included in your will.

I think no need to make a will of testament just to remind them about your Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency wealth. Your wife or your closest sibling will be the best person to entrust all your digital wealth because nobody knows what will happen. If we die they can still use our digital wealth.
That's the best thing, introduce Bitcoin and Crypto-Currency and Blockchain technology to your family in order to remind them that if one of the family member is gone then they can still access your assets.
Even i think the same! What's the need of mentioning it in your will or Testament. One can simply inform a trustworthy peer or relative about the earned wealth. Actually this is a prudent and a rational decision. Because you never know when life takes a toll on you. So it's better if you have saved through this medium do keep some reliable person informed about this. What good is your wealth if it couldn't serve your loved ones!!

It's as simple as that. That concerned person may act as your heir or a nominee at the time of your death and would be able to utilize your funds instead of them getting wasted.

Re: Why invest in bitcoin
by
ttlnnt
on 29/12/2017, 14:00:55 UTC
why invest in bitcoin when u can invest in real stocks market?

nobody is preventing you to invest in Stocks market and nobody put a gun to your head to only choose one if you did invest in one of these. in fact these days with all the mainstream attention to bitcoin there are many big investors who are diversifying into bitcoin. they already have their bulk of investment in things such as stocks and now they also have bitcoin in their portfolio.

and why? because bitcoin is a revolutionary invention that has changed the world. many don't see this yet but when they do, you will see the why of it.
Exactly. You can go for both and when you compare both, you see Bitcoin somewhere outshines the latter in many ways. Firstly i strongly feel that Bitcoin will bring a revolution in the virtual Crypto market with its trends. While its remains unaffected of many macro economic pressures, its easy to invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the new age currency and definitely brings more returns to the investors. 2k17 has been the year of Bitcoin and it has got many potential investors, so why not Bitcoin!?!

Hey! It's really never too late for investing in Crypto market. You are probably at the right place my friend! You'll definitely fetch yourself some good returns if you invest tactfully and smartly. It's just that you need to be very well acquainted with the market and for that you need to explore the market well.

According to me Bitcoin is the most lucrative option to invest your free funds. It's gonna get you the maximum possible returns on your investment. Well we have seen a dip in price lately but for sure an upsurge is awaiting Bitcoin. So it's the perfect time to make an investment over here. Then you also have other options like ETH. You won't regret here either.

All I would advice you is just be patient and study the market carefully.

Re: Most peoples who bash on bitcoin are just mad
by

on 29/12/2017, 13:30:07 UTC
So don't mind those peoples, only sell your bitcoin or buy it when you see profit.
I agree with you but I the same time I am afraid that at some point we will reach a breaking point.
Obviously, no one will tell you how the end of Bitcoin would look like but how we can be sure that we haven't reached that point?
Also, don't be so uncritical towards Bitcoin - we have many problems: congested network, long confirmation times and crazy high fees.
Absolutely, we cannot really ignore the problems that are attached to the Bitcoin including it's huge transaction fees, that really makes it a haux as a legal currency.

&& I totally agree with the point of some people being mad for bashing Bitcoin and the reasons are quite valid.

Current price of BTC has induced many people to buy more of Bitcoin rather than selling. While there are quite a few who are selling their coins in anticipation of a further correction in the price. I think Bitcoin may crash again but then it will rise and surely stabilize at some point.

Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ??
by

on 27/12/2017, 19:05:21 UTC
Hello there one year ago i bought 3 bitcoins but lost them all in gambling... :'(nd now seeing the bitcoin price makes me cryy...
I have 1500USD right now...i am thinking to buy the bitcoin now whatever i can get with them

Should i buy now or not as bitcoin is reached its all time high and in to the moon...please advice me

It's really hard to say what will happen after futures gets launched (which is tomorrow). A lot of people is expecting a very big correction, from a 20% to 50% decrease in price, so it could be worthy to wait a little longer, and get bitcoins at a cheaper price. BTC is still very close to it's all time high, and still way ahead from where it was in just three days ago, so the correction everyone is talking about wouldn't be that strange. Of course we all know that BTC is very unpredictable, so I guess that the wise move would be to maybe invest half of your funds in case BTC goes up, and then decide what to do with the rest.
I agree!! It is not really predictable to know the price leap Bitcoin may take the next moment. But a correction is expected to be seen very soon. So it would be prudent if you wait for some time but as we know the future of Bitcoin is very uncertain, you may make a small investment as of now! Rest the choice is entirely yours
