Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading

I think we need to tighten our mind and feelings when trading. Don't let our emotions dictate what we will do. And don't easily go with the flow in the market.
That is very challenging especially when you never knew how market works and still have doubts on crypto. We knew people will easily get loss their mind when market goes down and do panic selling. I've never think it would be stop since we have different in views and u. understanding.

You can't do anything about it if you're that kind of person. Crypto is for iron willed people.

Emotion is very important in trading, because when you control your emotion, you are able to manage to keep calm, you will not get panic when the market will dump or pump, in totally you are normal. And that is very good benefits if you are trader.

If you can do that then you can be a good trader but if you can't then the only thing you can do is buy and hodl. I don't think that many people can do that.

day to day trading, I think we can take advantage of the current ups and downs of the crypto market movement especially as the current conditions are very supportive, I see a lot of crypto going up and down in the range of -10% to +10%. And this is not easy, because we have to often observe the market that could be a small movement can make us panic.

I prefer holding but the price rise of BTC these days can be very interesting for day traders.

if you decide to trade now, then trade on a small part of your Deposit. it's still relevant, but the risks are higher. and stay away from unknown coins

Some profit can be made on day trading with BTC right now. The price is unstable, going to 8.5k and falling to 8k in two days.

I really hate daily trading, it's like a gambling that makes many people loss their money, I prefer like to trading if there is signal that come up, so I just wait and hold my coin unril the price rise.

Many people like it because it's interesting and you can make a lot of money, or lose it if you do it badly, but in the end I really don't have the time for it. I prefer holding and selling at the right time. Less stress and less time needed.
I also often choose the potential coin and keep it in the long term because it makes me feel less stressed and can spend more time with my family than just focusing on the charts. Investors should also have a clear plan to prevent the worst possible situations.

Yeah, what is the point in all of this if you spend all day long looking at charts and you neglect your family? There are more important things in life than chasing money.

we can get rid of emotions in only one way that is trading with fewer expectations then we can overcome anxiety and place orders accordingly
It is easy to get rid of our emotions if just have enough knowledge with what we are doing, and how can we have enough  knowledge with what we are doing? Then we need to explore, and make motivation those who become successful in trading, make them your inspiration, don't easily give up, set your own goals.

It's common knowledge that experience makes you calm and you make better decisions. Knowledge and experience go hand in hand.

Greed is important emotion to be stopped in right time. The main reason of loss is greed.

Well my friend I agree with you but if it was that easy nobody would lose money.  Grin

I suggest to buy now while the price is still in a cheap price in fact it's already gone up to $7500 then a slight loss that made the price at $7414 but still manage to hold on to it's gains. My recommendation is to buy now then hold and wait for the price to surge then sell, simple strategy no need technical analysis.

That's pretty much the best strategy right now. And of course I like to invest in some ICO and I'm always searching for the new and promising ones.

now iam at buy and hold cause my i am lose my value in my investmeny
so im gonna hold it until i get my money or make profit from that.
but its a good time for day trading right now, if u play now just take for 1-5% profit, dont be greed.

As trading is a bit risky today, the better strategy is just to hold the cryptocurrencies that you have already and to buy the new altcoins which you trust. I follow this policy and I think this is right.

Of course it's right. When you don't know what to do it's better to hold to some good coins and buy more if you can. All of the coins were pretty cheap this last few months and if you bought any of them you'll probably make some profit.

Do not check your investment while the market is getting lower each day. For you will be feeling down and too emotional because of the losses that you will be able to see.

When that happens I only remind myself that this is just temporary and that I should look at the bigger picture. It helps a lot.

Just to do not be a noob while trading, that is the only way in that you are not going to have feelings while trading. It is difficult at the beggining, but with some experience you will see that it is more than easy to control yourself

I agree with you but it's easier said then done. It's hard when you're on a row and you have that feeling that "you got it" not to follow your emotions. But then you lose hard.  Grin

My current strategy is to be concerned worried and do nothing, because for the last week I had gained $600 and I have lost it again. By doing nothing by the way, it is just a fluctuation of prices. Is that I hold.

If you hold you'll get even more in the end. Those fluctuations are pretty normal for this market and I don't pay much attention to it if I'm holding a good coin like BTC.

Given the current situation on the crypto currency market, more long-term retention of all crypto currencies will be more productive and profitable. The main thing is to find a safe place for storage.

Ledger nano S my friend and you're set.

Take deep breaths and think happy thoughts. Remember that all that's happening is normal and that it'll pass really soon.

Day trading in the last few months was very difficult because of the market being constantly in red. I prefer holding but that's just my point of view.

I'm currently buying BTC and waiting for it to rise to 10k so I can dump a little and hold the rest for another dump. As for the alts, well I'm stuck with few and there is no point in selling them. BTC will cover the loses when it rises, I'm pretty sure of that.

I often get stressed out by listening to light music and traveling with my family. The financial market has really taken a lot of my time and I want to get the best results for my family and the community in which I live.

For the community?  Grin
If by community you mean your bank account then I also like trading for my community.  Roll Eyes

In my own opinion, there is no way for a trader to erase its emotions while trading because anyone will be hurt if they saw their coins that is currently dumping in the market.

Not if you expect it to happen and plan ahead. Most of the people HOPE that their coin is going to rise forever and that's just not possible. You gotta take into account that some drops are very possible but the rises come after that. Just be patient and ready.

No one is trading for emotional satisfaction, i am more than sure about that, who the hell would be trading just for a hobby? it is just for money purposes, and you are risking your entire balance in there.. dont understand how it could be good

Well actually I'm pretty sure some people are in it just for adrenaline kicks. Some people have enough money to just not give a damn if they lose.

Never heard of trading because of emotional satisfaction. In fact I find trading very stressing, specially if it's the only source of income for you and your family. There is always the possibility of losing money, so when you have bills to pay, and you depend on your profits to pay them, it's definitely a very stressful experience. I was a decent poker player, and once I realized I was making enough money to pay my bills I decided to try it full time. It was a terrible experience, and I just had to stop. I now play poker just for fun again, and I appreciate the profit I can get from it, but I don't see how that can work in trading. It's not a game, so you can do it for an extra profit, but it's not for emotional satisfaction.

Perfectly Described the real soul behind trading. Trading is most stressing job in the world.

That's the hard truth. The guy explained it very well, when you make trading a daily job that pays bills it becomes a stress factory. I only invest, hodl and sell when the time is right. Tried daily trade but didn't have the time nor the patience and nervs. It's very hard and stressful. I prefer keeping the day job and doing crypto on the side. I respect those who can do it.
