Does anyone know how to re-broadcast a transaction in bitcoin client? Long story short. I sent some BTC for betting which had won. But I accidentally sent more BTC(from same wallet but on my phone) to that betting address after the bet was over. I panic and spent that BTC in MY desktop wallet as well. Know it says conflicted and all the BTC appeared in by desktop wallet. So it will never get a confirmation in the block. Anyways to make my wallet to rebroadcast that transaction?

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Raw_Transactions#Re-broadcast_a_transaction

I tried it, but I guess I needed more clear explanation. It is giving me error.

Why dont you try starting the wallet with -zapwallettxes  is what I do whenever I have a stuck transaction. It clears the stuck transaction and returns the coins. Then you can create a new transaction if you still want to send the coins.

Well, I already got the coins returned. But I placed a bet on directbet.eu which I won. They return the winnings when there is 1 confirmation on that transaction ID. If I send the btc on a new transaction, it wont accept since the betting event is over and return my btc. But I wont get the winnings.

couldnt pick between the proper resistance line, but were getting very close to a pivotal moment in the market. if we break up i think we make an ATH... at least in terms of Satoshi

2 hours charts about to turn positive. When we have4 hours charts get sync with it, we should take off. Posibly next rally point would be .018-.020, but expected to retract to .016 later on with some people doing profit taking.

There is a clear endemic market need for InstamineCoin. I may fork Paycoin and give it shot. Who's with me?

I am with you as long as I got a cut out of the profit Smiley

Panic buy started? I'm just hope that no more naive noobs will burn on this pump.

I think you are wishing the price go down, so you can buy back in. But I dont think at this point, it will go lower than 0.0093-0.0095

Anyone had stuck bitcoin transaction? I sent 5.5 btc about 6 hours ago, and still unconfirmed. I used blockchain.info wallet. I realized I included 0 fee. Anyone know what happens? I wanna make sure eventually it confirms? I sent it to cryptsy to get some DRK, but it is taking too long. Hope I catch it before next spike.

Transaction ID# 85708e444bfc505bc1320b73d9bc978427dc67ca7b7075691ae4d69a40b080bd

Try this, open the bitcoin client with --zapwallettxes. You'll notice your money is suddenly back, then change the fees so you pay something and try sending the money again. This will double spend your money, but the second transaction will have the fees to make it into a block. There's a very limited about of space per block that's allocated on the bitcoin network to free transactions, otherwise it'll take forever.

That transaction took place on blockchain.info online wallet- Can I import the wallet to bitcoin client on my PC and do that? Or it will not work since the transaction originally happened on blockchain.info?

My conspiracy theory is Bitstamp needed to buy back the coins they lost to balance their books and the best way to do that was crashing the price.

The price on January 4th was around 285 USD  and they lost  ~18K BTC or ~5.1M USD at the time. They decided to cover the loss in BTC for their customers, they didn't have any option but to absorb the loss and respect the BTC balances of their customers in the exchange accounts.

But did they really had all those coins? Or were their books unbalanced and operating on fractional reserve, so that if everybody withdrew at the same time they wouldn't be able to honor all of the coins.  And even if they did, how to recover their losses?

Answer: crash the price. At the bottom of the crash on Bitstamp 152 USD, getting the 18K back was ~2.7M USD, that is almost half the amount of the original loss.  Obviously I am just speculating, but they definitely benefited from the crash, that conveniently happened right after they "lost" all those coins.

This unregulated market definitely needs a decentralized trust-less exchange, so we don't have to guess.

Price were crashing already before they were backup and running.

I think blood bath is over 15min, 30min, 1hour and 2hours charts turned to positive. 4 hour chart is almost there. Panic buy started. $250 short term shoot up then will retrace back $225-230 before deciding to go more up , ordown.

I think his main attribute is honesty. He is upfront and not hiding anything. Other devs always have game plant to P&D. But Evan is sharing the truth even if it will cause a panic or negativity.

Looks like Evan won the 2014 Proof of Honor award, awesome to see him get that recognition

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=920053.0

Thanks to everyone who supported me and Darkcoin! It's a great honor to receive an award like this for the work I've been doing, it really means a lot that all of my effort slaving away on this hasn't been wasted.  Also thanks to all of you who are helping Darkcoin behind the scenes to become something greater, we couldn't have done it without you. Grin

I'd like to add my congratulations too Evan. Probably one of the fundamental attributes of Darkcoin that's been so assuring and confidence-building is your level headed commitment to an orderly representation of what you're thinking on DRK is, what you're planning for the tech's roadmap and what you know can actually be achieved. It's a stark contrast against so many other altcoins where the hype and hubris is all consuming and whips so many people up only to result in a disastrous collapse (there are too many to mention; most of us know some examples). I really appreciate this aspect of your nature and approach.

Software development and IT projects are notorious for failing to deliver on expectations and documented features/capabilities. But you and the Darkcoin team have consistently set appropriate and achievable goals then followed through with delivery. That's what's brought such good people into the fold and facilitated the loyalty so many here demonstrate. I found out about DRK through the BTC-e troll-box (of all places....they use to call it Dork....jealousy I guess!) and although I bought in at levels far above where we're at, I've seen evidence all the way along that DRK has a very good chance of succeeding and making an enormous difference.

Hi guys...

I need little help. I just sent some dark to my mobile wallet, but they got 0 confirmation. I suspect, the issue is I sent it before my wallet synced and possibly some of those darks spent prior to that transaction. In short, I was trying to double spend. How do I bring those drks back to my initial wallet, so I can re-send them with correct amount?

Anyone?
