10 years, 20 years from now we will look at 1s1 gen crypto the way we look at old cars. When we finally have quantum computing it will open a whole new level of development. Thats less than 5 years away.

Re: Why arnt we seeing more bitcoin ATM popping up?
by
twinkletoes007
on 06/06/2016, 03:29:34 UTC
When I use traditional ATM I know more or less what to expect. I know that I can withdraw my money from my bank account and it is pretty straightforward process.

On the other hand with Bitcoin ATM it is a lottery and you are never sure, I keep asking myself:

What can I do with machine like this? Can I buy BTC from it for FIAT, or can I load it with my BTC and then withdraw FIAT?
What kind of fees I have to pay? Do I need some kind of ID to use it?

All these thoughts have successfully discouraged me from using a Bitcoin ATM.

If you have the money to build a network it can be very succesfull. Coin Source and Digital Mint have the 2 biggest networks. They can benifit from economies of scale.Plus most Newbies have no idea how to trade on an exchnage so thats a deterent. They will pay the higher fees for speed, convenience and ease of use on BTM's. People pay a
10% premium on localbitcoins are anon starter.

I think not all banks are hates bitcoin. In my country, there is no bank that hate bitcoin. Because the bitcoin itself not popular here. But when bitcoin popular here, i think banks will hate it.
yeah it was good logic dude the bank does not know what is bitcoin? how could they hate bitcoin? if you have evidence that banks hate bitcoin show me. I've even noticed that the Italian central bank support bitcoin, you can see it in google

Where have you been? Have you not heard of banks shutting down business accounts of bitcoin related businesses??

The password is purely for encryption purposes. If someone has an older wallet.dat and can guess the password they'll get the private keys. Sweep if you're not sure!

I learned the hard way. Sad

Re: Coinbase still hasn't returned my $10k USD from May 18
by
twinkletoes007
on 03/06/2016, 20:03:36 UTC
Coinbase is such a self righteous scam of a company. They took $10k usd from me that I put in to buy BTC at $455 each and today they are at $555. I have no BTC and no money. All I get is constant excuses as to why I haven't been refunded my money and constant delays. To make matters worse the customer service people are about as rude as you can get. I am surprised it is even legal to do what they are doing to me.

There are rumors coinbase is running out of money.

These exchanges are not insured so if they go under your money is gone!

Unless your Bitcoins are in a private wallet on your own computer all you own are IOUs.

In the coming years I guarantee you more exchanges will go under. Its just the nature of industry!

Try to remember these are ether private businesses owned by the founder and some investors or worse an arm of a larger corporation run by investors legally obligated to protect the investors not the users like you!

Again I repeat the boards of these companies are legally obligated to get as much money back for the original investors as they can if things go south. That includes fucking over as many people as they can just like Mt_Gox did in the weeks leading to up their closer. They can shut down withdraws and allow deposits for weeks and release statements insuring that "everything is fine! No need to worry! Its a small bug in our system! It will be fixed soon!" And then without any warning close down with as much money on their books as they can get!!

OP they can't hear you, they higher PR staff to deal with people like you! Your nothing but a account number and a balance on their books. You have no rights you can't make any demands because you are nothing to them! And your government couldn't care less about your misfortune. And when they take everything they can from you and discard you with nothing, you will have devised it. It was your responsibly to protect your own wealth.

You're playing with fire and your going to get burned!

Goldman Sachs is behind Coinbase. They are not running out of money. They are just lame.

Fractional banking
Insurance linted to $250k max

With exchanges all beginning to have a debit card option who needs the above? Wait until the next financial meltdown. "to big to fail" will fail! Crypto will rise!

Re: [ANN][ICOO] ICO OpenLedger - THE OFFICIAL ICO PRE-LAUNCH TOKEN
by
twinkletoes007
on 21/05/2016, 23:55:22 UTC
Having followed the thread now since yesterday, I realize I have to act now to try to get this back on track. I have no intention, nor have I ever had any kind of intention to do anything but offer added value overall to the cryptocurrency industry.

I have removed the advisory board and asked a few neutral people to try to get to the bottom of all of this. I wish for this ICO to be something special an worthwhile, and it has for sure not managed to get on its feet the right way.

I will be back with an update shortly an based on my conclusions give my answers here. I am here for all of you, thank you.

Yours sincerely

Ronny Boesing
CCEDK

Here is a major issue Ronny. You are referring to this as just an "ICO to be something special and worthwhile", But its not just an ICO. You talk about this project like its complete once the ICO is finished... Thats a big red flag. Being as you as well as other board members are affiliated with many ICO's in progress, you need to address this by focusing on a single project, and driving it to completion before you end up with a handful of projects that are shitty and have earned you the reputation of an ignorant scammer. (Not calling you a scammer here). But you need to be aware, you have to DELIVER what is promised to people, and cant just ICO an ICO then ICO that ICO's ICO pre-ANN ICO fund.

My personal opinion is that you should be using your own damn money to start this business. It seems like it could go mainstream, why are you selling this to the online cryptocommunity ?

P.S. Openledger is a horrible exchange, you should get away from it.

Gatecoin, Bter, Mintpal, Cryptsy, Gox, Shapeshift and others ----  Centralized exchanges that have been hacked causing people to lose millions. Openledger is the first and only Decentralized exchange that practically eliminates all possibility of this.  The community should get behind that project so that it will raise the bar for all other exchanges. Working towards a fully decentralized exchange with shared order books is the ultimate.

So far Boesing/Openledger is light years ahead of everybody else. His shortcoming is that he believes that everybody in the community is a genius like him and that they will grasp what he is doing. But they are not and they dont.

If you dont see the practicality and need for a decentralized exchange like Openledger, you missed the entire point of bitcoin / the decentralize movement.

I agree, ronny the ceo of CCEDK is honest and not scamming, at least to my knowledge.

The whole tantrum in this thread is about the scum they let in the house.

Wishing you much success Mr. Boesing.

1. Re-edit your thread with the actual MLS listing
2. Add your bitpay on the listing or on this thread if youre serious

But at this point I think the thread isnt taken seriously..

bitpay wont do a transaction that large without a ridiculous amount of kyc, then the still might not do it.
