I need some movie that can entertain me in these summer vacations...
i would appreciate if they make me laugh..

There are a few, not so many really good ones - but this depends on your taste. Maybe you can post a few that you liked so it is easier to recommend something good for you...

When those who use their PC/laptop only for email/Skype/browsing will have a simple way of using it (and trust it also) - then BTC will go over $10000.

Re: Bitcoin's potential role

It's at least a payment system and an asset

Not exactly a currency now, though

To see some concrete arguments for that will be interesting...

No ,  without safety net  Wink
That would be awesome . Into the wild  Grin

A safety net is OK. Just don't make it to comfortable to fall in it or you may choose it to often.

Re: Bitcoin should BAN China
by

I dont sure that its a good idea, China have a massive population that can help and raise the exchange rate of the currency at he future..

If I would pretend that I'm taking this seriously, I would say it's not about practicality. It's about the general vision. If somebody would seriously think that this can be put in practice should consider that this kind of move will result in the loss of many honest, well intended bitcoiners.

This is much harder than I thought at first site. Whatever I eliminate the result could be unexpected, so people will not appreciate the opposite of what I just get rid off. I have to think about that.

This year, a few days back. Win lottery/at some bet services. Invest the money:

- 30% in BTC for:
       - 1/2 development type charity (training, crowdsource projects)
       - 1/5 small but well paid projects for constructive posters on this site
       - 1/5 usable, friendly "Why/where/with whom/how to ... with BTC" site for absolute beginners.
       - 1/10 savings
-30 % health
-30 % family
-10 % - reserved for "unexpected"

Re: What should i do with my $1100

I suggest you buy some candy and soda, and have a snack while watching a good movie.

Or you could invest in bitcoins.

But candy is tastier.

Don't put all your eggs in one place. If you decide to buy something else that BTC, you can always buy first the BTCs and after that use them to buy whatever you decide. By doing this at least you'll contribute to the BTC acceptance.

Get a friend to buy from a bitcoin ATM for you and pay him back by cheque.

I think it would be useful if somebody posts a link to an updated map of ATMs. Ideally also with the ones that are to be installed (at least a list of cities) in the near future.

But if you want to get some Bitcoins in a simplest way, check out Earn bitcoins ,we have the list of Best Bitcoins sites where you can earn Bitcoins from different method, some by just viewing ads, some by answering captcha challenges, and some by performing small tasks online.

I wonder how much you can do if you work a full day - let's say 12-15 hours? Anybody tried it?

Nothing is dying, the Bitcoin hashrate is going up  Tongue
So enjoy the price if your buyer, and hate the price if your seller

Yes, enjoy the price if you are a buyer, and hate the price only if selling is a real emergency. Panic will only prologue the situation for a few weeks but anyway this low rate will not last. It depends mostly on how many people are out there waiting for "a good price to buy" (because they are a lot of them now) and what is that price.

Re: Bitcoin + Litecoin = Nokia ?
by
txbt
on 20/03/2014, 16:05:07 UTC
Bitcoin is the mobile phone. Bitcoin is a technology, not a company.

Everyone who made analogy such as Altavista/Google, Myspace/Facebook, or that Nokia one, failed to understand that Bitcoin is a f***g technology. Bitcoin is like the Internet, the mobile phone, the automobile, the electricity, the fire.

Because today most of the people know just about currency like in the old days Internet was equal with email to many people (for some even today). It's not their "fault".

Congrats. Well done, clean, fast.

I have just a few very small observations like $USD United States dollar is usually written USD or US$. So it's not very important I guess, but if you want more feedback like this, just let me know.

Good luck!

Digiglobe (actually the map tiles are on tomnod.com) is working very well now (I saw today on TV that they increased their servers capabilities). I just went trough more than 1000 map tiles and I think in this pace with a few hundred thousand volunteers it is almost impossible not to find some trace soon.

And yes there are a lot of clouds, but I understand they update their pictures frequently.

Welcome!
I think you probably are aware of free (and legal in many countries) book sites. My favourites are Manybooks and Guttenberg.
They have different formats and Gutenberg has some audiobooks too.
