wth!!!
they pushed the release back again

Makes sense  they are still selling s-2's   ….

So    we will just have to buy out those s-2's..

Anyone want them?

as for diff jumps i get 16.5 or 16.8

thats what i mean, they pushed the ship date of the s2's to the 30th on website.. are they pushing back all s2 deliveries or just the orders they actually have then? or am i over reacting

Do we not need to get certain wattage rating for the resistors as well as ohm?

go to your breaker box... it should have some sort of labels or diagram... then they should say 10,15,20 amp... multiply that by 120 is the amount of watts you can put on that circuit

So what kind do I need... read there is 3 types of ups... I just want it to not blow video cards and mining equip... if it only last 30 secs thats fine.  I can get muliple ups boxes as I got multiple power supplies. And can split load.
2x860 watt
2x550 watt
450 watt

uninterruptible power supply help
by
uberdag
on 14/02/2014, 02:12:32 UTC
I need some help getting the right power supply for my farm of varied devices.  I have 5 power supplies running for a total of about 2500 watts rated and probably pulling at wall only pulling less than 2000 at the wall.

My power keeps popping at the house as power lines get reapired around the area from ice... The microwave time doesnt have to be reset but the computers and miners have to be restarted.

I dont care about time on battery, would rather it shut everything down immediately if power is out more than a few seconds anyhow.

any recomondations would be most helpful

I have a cube coming and was going to use bfgminer as the proxy but cant seem to get it going on xubuntu 13.10

phillip@minerhex:/$ sudo bfgminer --http-port 8330
 [2014-02-08 22:19:00] bfgminer: --http-port: unrecognized option

looking at command line list i dont even see http-port on there but thats what it said to do in a few other threads i found.

thanks

VICTORY!!!!

So i got a old dell p4 out of the pile from work brought it home, tried to install linux and it had a bad HD... then pulled HD out of dead dell and put it in new dell.

then by mistake somehow i installed reg ubuntu instead of xubuntu and the desktop threw me... so got correct iso got it installed and all is good...

Hashing at 45 Gh/s not going to touch nothing!!!!!  think i will just sell my 4 usb 333 miners and call it.

thanks again to everyone
