Hoard for now and hope it hits $1 or better.  At that point I'd cash out for a down payment on a house.

I like how you think!

That's exactly what I am saving up BTC for.

Yeah, I know realistically it probably won't happen, but I can always hope.  I figure if I can at least mine coins to help out the cause and jump on offers of new things like XRP, maybe it'll offer a tiny bit of help to get my family out of our current cramped digs and into something a bit nicer.

In the mean time, I'll continue to work multiple jobs and scrimp and save.

To the people actually using these bots, what kind of return are you seeing?  Just curious.

I'm pretty much just leaving this comment so that I can hit my 5 quota, get out of the newbie pen, and claim my ripples in that "free ripples" thread Smiley

HA!  I'm working on that too.  Not a lot of intelligent things to respond to in this play pen though Undecided

Is there a single wallet you can use to store all crypto currencies?

Pretty much what the subject says.  As a newb, it's really the only thing I can't fathom.  It seems to me very odd that for every crypto coin out there, you need to download some wallet app unique to that currency, set up strong passwords for each, keep encrypted and unencrypted addresses, yadda yadda.  While I get it and am capable of doing it, it seems like a huge hurdle for a user of average tech experience or less.  Then finding a mobile app that you can trust to keep each of your coins in ... yeah.  It's a lot.

Why is there not one (or more) universal app(s) you can set up to allow you to start sending and receiving BTC, LTC, NMC, or whatever new coin pops up immediately, makes encryption and cold storage simple, has a trustworthy mobile app, etc?

Or is there already one and I'm just slow?

Re: New FPGA Hardware Company

Do you have any WAG as to price?

Rough estimated hash rate on Bitcoin and Litecoin mining?

Could you flash the FPGA to mine one or the other?

Could you set up it up to monitor the price of BTC and LTC vs. USD or EUR and then mine whichever is more profitable based on the device's historical average hash rate?

Ripples are a disgusting scam with a central server/corporation holding all the cards, absolutely do not support ripples. In my opinion.
If I understand the concept correctly, it's basically just going to be another exchange.  If you just use them to move your cryptocoins to traditional money and back, what's the harm there?
