Re: Nervos CKB bringing back GPU Mining?! Dual Mine Ethereum and CKB | How To Mine
I was not. Whilst the project itself looked interesting, I stopped mining it on testnet after a few days because the math just didn't add up... unless the price would've kicked up substantially from the ico (which, of course, could've happened, but wasn't very likely nowadays), or the expected distribution ratio of testnet coins had improved.
By all means, the price might still turn around and start climbing. But at $0.01, it never made sense, really.
yeah, mining not really interesting if you pay for electricity we need prices like 0.1$ per CKB to make it interesting. 1 x1080Ti is eating at least 50 $cents a day if you are at a 0.15$ per kwh price.

couldn't find any else. started with a small amount of STAK on mynoderocks. lets see how it goes. to be honest, pretty sceptic about it. but there are only worst alternatives out there...with excel sheets...

Re: if you live in the EU, watch your profit. I've already turned off my rigs.
30 m² 22,90 31-50 m² 26,90 51-70 m² 30,90 71-90 m² 34,90 91-120 m² 38,90 121-150 m² 42,90
you are the lucky one. normally EU citizens pay between 0,05 - 0,30 euro cent per kWh i am still making profit with 0,15 cent per kWh as a private person and 0,10 cent per kWh as a business

smth like this. he already made a working linux version adn some people already use it with smOS (see post 308 in that thread)
I Mod RX580 4GB&8GB tdxminer + SimpleMiningOS = VeryGood Set Fan speed Easy Set OverClock Easy
good work m8 did you push the miner over putty to the rig? any other updates you did? ROCm installed on smOS?

lots of memorable moments...mining Bitcoin with my dual core desktop PC i used during university times
but most memorable from most recent time was when my surveillance cams went down in the location my rigs are working and 5 mins after it all my farms went down. first thought - burglary
it was half past 11 in the evening on friday. called uber. took my baseball bat. took my brother in law. he took his bat. you should have seen the face of the uber driver as he saw us. 2 angry guys with baseball bats on back seat....
came to the location to find out that my ISP was having fun with its network...
yes, there are, eventhough those things keep dying all the time and are also main point of failure

Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System
hello to all. started switching my AMD Rigs from ETH to RVN. What hashrates do you receive? i can hardly recognize anything in the console so hard to see what hashrate miner is showing. on pool i get 12mh per 6x rx570 4gb rig. i think its not ok. i read that it should be 6 MH per card at least. any ideas or similar results?
I can't help you but maybe you can help me I woluld like to mine RVN but I don't know what command to use. What miner, command, and pool do you use?

Re: Why are people so negative about mining? Stop it...
My 2.6k rig (1080 ti, 1080, 1080, 1070) brings in 6 euros a day. That's ROI (or BE or whatever you want to call it) of 416,6666666666667 days. Without talking about the electricity costs - how high or low they may be.
I can't really be positive about those numbers. Don't know what planet you live on, but mining conditions at this time -and we are ALL in it for the money, even those who say they are not- are terrible.
u r mining the wrong coin. with your setup you should be doing 15 net per day...research a little bit before calling ppl stupid...

i also contacted them and have very mixed feelings. i received the enterprise data and it is rather new (July 2017) but their prices look really suspicious.
i was aiming for Gigabyte GTX 1080 ti and they told me that the price would be 580$ per piece. they accept only bitcoin and wire transfer...meaning you send your money somewhere...they also give no insurance or escrow. items will be shipped after payment.
wow ddr6, well thats something. I wonder how much it will get for ethereum. Anyways we wont see this soon, and its going to be expensive and theres bound to be shortages. Miners will gobble up any amount of hardware available Until the price crashes that is. And who knows in how long thats going to be.
just in theory, GDDR6 should be doing like 60 MH on dagger hashimoto? specs say its double the speed of GDDR5
A BTC transfer from Nicehash Internal Wallet to Coinbase BTC wallet is a non-taxable event right? It's just a relocation of property without liquidation?
it is only a transfer. cryptos are not oficially recognized payment methods. only if you transfer them into fiat currency they become taxable and only from the moment they land on your bank account and only if your do not reinvest them miners should do books of for income and expanses to calculate the profit and loss miners should do books for changes in prices difference between the timestamp the currency came into the trading plattform and the timestamp it has been sold. the difference is profit or loss which should be accumulated and calculated on years basis.
Let's give them enough time to solve some issues , better 1x a "long" time down and problems solved than 10 "short" times down and retrying solving problems ! Don't forget the site is on 24/24 , 7/7 , so maintenance has to be done somewhere in time. And I'll be very happy if "502-error trading" will be reduced with this maintenance. For me it's a very reliable exchange and that's what matters the most afterall. Have some faith and trust , they deserve it. However , I prefer a short downtime above a long one to.
yes, at some point you are right. but Kraken is not a small enterprise and they can allow themselves a test environment, where they can test the changes in the test environment and after SIT and UAT implement it in the production environment. but lets wait a little bit longer...they are a trusted exchange. i remember back in time bittrex couldnt verify my account for almsot 2 months and my funds were frozen...
Agree , it's always something ! :-) We've got some time for research now or we can spend some profits and stimulate the economy. Grtz
pity there are almost no available NVIDIA GPUs at EU Market for a reasonable price. makes the spending not that easy
