Is forging rewards on yet?
No. Should be activated in the beginning of next week.

I would not expect it until end of month. There will some difficulties arising for sure...

It would be great to have a version running at least one month before making changes. Or bundling all changes in one release otherwise we will never get wallets integrated into exchanges.

I cannot transfer my heat from openledger exchange

there are no withdraw possibilities available.

the only way to send heat is from the wallet.

there is trading, but no transfer of heat.

its coming within some months.

what do the 3 numbers mean next to the mining button in the heat desktop wallet?

and how can I hardcode the versionnumber and text to see at the heatbrowser/report when forging?

Yeah, that's possible. I just find it hard to believe someone would sell any of their precious HEAT. The exchange seems faster than polo in some regards. I can't wait until HEAT matures. Moon soon!

would not sell until moon, what can take some time... i guess we are going to hit 20mill marketcap

2017-04-06 15:23:04 [main] ERROR com.heatledger.Heat file=C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\Programs\heatwallet\resources\heatledger\blockchain\effective.version.restore truncated

what does this error means?

after that my server stops.

EDIT:

this error is coming if you have a wrong java_home address set, like for wrong java release.

1. install first java jdk
2. set java_home in your system, if not done automaticaly

3. start heatwallet, start server, wait 1 hour for blockchain download
4. start forging

Is the heat addy the one at the top right corner of the wallet with the# in front of it. Is that where you send coins to

Also is this back to mining again where you can earn heat

Yeah that's your HEAT address. You can only buy it on the exchange in wallet by sending BTC. As far as I can tell withdrawal from the exchanges isn't functional yet. I have a hung withdrawal from Alcurex.

Still looking for some assistance with starting the wallet server on Windows so I can stake. Anyone? The error I get is:

Code:
"[SERVER] command >> bin\\heatledger.bat"
"[SERVER] cwd >> C:\\Users\\j-digop\\AppData\\Local\\Heatwallet\\app-1.0.1\\resources\\heatledger"
"[SERVER] pid >> undefined"
"[SPAWN EXIT] spawn C:\\Windows\\system32\\cmd.exe ENOENT"

"[SERVER] pid >> undefined"

not connected with network. could be firewall, vpn, or whatever impossible to say

Hey Savage and DeJerk,

where can I see your pitch in that startup circlejerk? Their Twitter Account doesn't even mention you. What's going on? Did you loose already?
Give us some information please. Would love to see you guys failing in this contest as well.

Greetings Memberberry, also: whoever marks all my old posts as BS: Fuck you. You can't censor the truth!

the big losers coming back to get the fist in their face :-)

nice.

ready to knock you out

Heat Ledger was just selected as a partner to do a blockchain pilot project with ABN AMRO bank in The Netherlands. This partnership starts with a quick 100 days project, more details on what it entails and could mean for a HEAT token holder will be given later.  Smiley

On Friday this week it is expected that forging rewards will be re-activated. To forge with a desktop wallet, you have to do the following:

1) Check the height of the blockchain with the blockchain explorer (icon number 3 from top left)
2) Go to "Apps Server" (item number 6 from top left) and then click on "Start Server". Wait until the number of synced blocks equals the blockchain height from step 1) - you can see this in the log output window below the clickable buttons (this will take a while, several minutes).
3) Click on "Start Mining"

Forging rewards will initially be very generous, expected to be 7-8% per month or more than a doubling of your HEAT balance in a year. To forge a block per day, you need approximately 3800 HEAT if about 50% of all HEAT is forging (26,500,000 / 3,456 * 50%). To double-check that you have set up forging correctly, your account should appear in this report: https://heatbrowser.com/report.html after the first block has been forged.

First time running the new wallet and everything is working amazingly except for starting the apps server whereupon I see this:

Code:
"[SERVER] command >> bin\\heatledger.bat"
"[SERVER] cwd >> C:\\Users\\XXXXXXXXXXX\\AppData\\Local\\Heatwallet\\app-1.0.1\\resources\\heatledger"
"[SERVER] pid >> undefined"
"[SPAWN EXIT] spawn C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\cmd.exe ENOENT"

Should this be functional? Or should I wait until forging is re-enabled?
Do you have Java installed? On Windows: https://java.com/en/download

Looks like there are some issues with java on this machine-- I'll try using another and edit this post once things are working. Thanks for the suggestion.

Confirmed updated java on different machine and I get the exact same error. I'm behind a VPN, should that matter?

do you receive blocks? can you read the blockchain.

you are definitly not connected.... VPN is not the problem, but the filter they are running probably with ports blockblocking. I would not run a blockchain node over a VPN, from my point of view
