There is a strong consensus here and on Slack that we need a working exchange, and although Poloniex must re-activate us soon, we should not be waiting any longer.
Cryptopia is a fairly well established and recognized exchange, and they have a special going on at the moment for coins which are affected by the closing of NovaExchange (that includes Bitmark)
For approximately 2.4 BTC, we can be listed on Cryptopia in short order.
So, I'm hereby soliciting contributions from the community towards this purpose.

I received 50BTC back in 2010 from a friend of mine. The harddrive ended up getting severe platter damage. 7 years and $2700 later I was able to recover the wallet.dat file that shows it was last updated in 2011. I was running the bitcoin-0.3.18-win32 software. Today I dropped that old wallet.dat file in the latest bitcoin core software and cant get any of my transactions or balance to show. Where do I go from here to finish up recovering this old BTC? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nice post! Reading this reminds me of what Quark went through during December of 2013. The amount of FUD that was spread was amazing. It didn't kill the coin though, in my opinion it made it stronger. Anyone can afford to buy at these current prices. Infurstructure and projects are being worked on daily, that's what will add real value.

My goal is to create a much needed up to date design with some new features that could help bring Quark to the forefront of this cryptocurrency revolution. I plan on using simple terminology, smooth functionality with a sleek design to help acclimate the masses to our digital tender. I am in the process of creating a bounty with the Quark Foundation in order to raise the required funds to hire skilled developers.
