tysat:

I have a problem with Tomatocage's "solution" to spamming which consists of trolling all transactions.  What he *used* to do is comment on every transaction current on any particular day trash like "escrow that shit or I will come back and laugh at your stupid ass."  I think we can agree that this type of comment does not come from a good or constructive place--he did this all the time.  There are several other members who noticed this and complained as well.  I got into several arguments with him over this and as a result, admittedly he has gotten better--but John's handling of the situation was abysmal.  I don't think getting a gold star pinned on your chest and thread pinned on the forum is a good response to what started out simply as justification of disruptive behavior.

I have had all good transactions on the forums and aside from spats with (dicks) like tecshare and charliecontent I've been on fairly good behavior the entire time I've been here and resent being called a spammer by someone who (obviously) won't bother to do a quick search on my name.  I'd love to see some progress in the way we handle things here, we need stronger mods but we also need effective and good ones or the point is moot.

For example: john the dog (a moderator) sucks.  Most people seem to like him, but he is pretty much the reason I quit logging in everyday.  I would love to be able to vote him down in a way besides just ignoring him and then blanking out what he says.

Maybe hiring some mods that don't suck too, that might be a good use for that btc!

I'll bet anyone willing to take the bet 1 btc that a transaction for these three cards (with what looks like a real user) will result in a dissatisfied buyer.

I have no doubt these cards exist but I honestly believe if you pay you will never see them!

Hello guys!  Just want to point out that if this is (partially) referring to me, it is a lie:

Quote
I chose not to take some of offer made, that the persons who made low offers that I refused would come back and try to label me a scammer.

We agreed on a price and arashd wanted me to send payment, in fact he repeatedly asked me to send payment before even mildly inquiring where I might be located--giving me the impression he had no intention of shipping.

I have no doubt these cards exist but I honestly believe if you pay you will never see them!

Who's to say you aren't doing that now, making sure to only call out other new members of course.

Sure.  Why wouldn't I be?  You have no problem being a piece and messing with people.  (Especially new ones.)

I am thinking about making my own thread entitled "These people are just wasting other user's time" so I can put people like Dank Phinneas Gage and Tomatocage along with MPO-PR etc.  Since this abortion of a thread has been allowed to continue why would mine not be?

Is pcie revision 2 needed to mine?

What is pcie revision good for for miners?  Nothing?

I've been told that pcie rev 2 is needed to mine, but this flies in the face of what I've read and what I've done with my systems...  We use extenders to chop card bandwidth all the time with no detriment... How is this any different unless it has to do with specific card / mobo compatibility.

It did take that...

Actually if you want the whole backstory (or at least more o' it) that user posted a "-1" review in the honest traders thread which I saw and recommended the spam-bomb to attract his attention.

Full disclosure: personally Bitcoiner and I have not done a transaction.  I got a bit of a slippery feeling while pming him about amazon gift cards around the time I signed up here.

Yeah bitcoiner is a bit of an unreliable nutcase but I do believe he will eventually come through and pay you what he owes you.

At one point somebody sent him $750 and the sender didn't get a response for days on end--he eventually refunded money apparently once he became aware of the situation.  (How you lose track of somebody else's $750 is beyond me.)

I have some sapphires which I overclock to 900mhz or so I believe.  I run one card with -f60 for desktop and the other -f0 I think I get about 340 and 370 mhs respectively.  I even play games with the card mining...
