can't tell if the exe in the release is malicious
source code is safe though, if in doubt just compile it yourself. thanks for the code, i've fixed a few things and now it works great for me

Can you make a pull request? The community would be thankful.
Best regards

You're definately trying to scam people.
Now you went on github and changed your donation address.

Here's the proof: https://i.imgur.com/LJZasId.jpg

There's no room for scammers in bitcointalk.org . Nice try.

Why "scammer"? Analyse the source code and compile it from your side. Simple as that.

Also, there's no wallet address on the release files. Nobody was able to reproduce it (as expected).

And yes, I changed the address on the readme, what's the problem in there? Is that what you are referring to as "scamming people"? LMAO

Why even take the chance with possible malware?  These usually end up taking more than the actual dev fee and go right to the creator of the program.

Look:

- source code is open for anyone to check
- .exe was tested on virustotal and antiscan.me with no positive results

what else can I say?
people are free to analyse and choose to use it or not.

I'm being the most transparent possible.

Normally I would call something like this a scam, virus, etc.  but the source code is listed.  Everyone has the ability to analyze the code and compile it themselves.  I probably won't use this simply because I want to support the dev, but I think the community does need more people like OP, who make free software that is mining related

It is a scam as I found some shares being redirected to this dev's wallet, not ours.

That's impossible.
Please analyse the source code.
Send my any proof by private message so we can dig further on that issue.

Double-check that you started the add-on before the miner

"That's impossible."
You are so funny or desperate.
The source code is not the same after I decompile the executable. I've found your wallet address inside.

Leech, stealing hashrate from others.

Then you do not mind to give us proof itstead of just saying what you say. The truth is in ther proof you show us and no not just copy/paste but a fully explain how and what you used to decompile it.
And bytheway did you compile it yourself or downloaded the .exe file from just somewhere.
Show us with exact steps you took.
Then I might believe you but not before we all have seen the proof.

cheers

It was quite easy to do with x64dbg.
If you go to github you'll find dev's wallet is: 0x851EAa1169f02D4Da54994f9c1C1556636b97279

Using x64dbg, you only need to look for the same exact address. See what I found out below.
Essentially, at some point, the program may intercept dev fee and will redirect it to this wallet, perhaps partially or entirely, but it will.
You can go dipper in the code to see exactly what's going on.

I'm not an expert with this stuff but I wasn't able to reproduce your results. Searching for a string containing that wallet address came up with nothing. Can you provide some direction on how you found it?

https://ibb.co/KmCFKJv

You can't reproduce the results because this user (VALERYSMYL) is scamming my topic with false information.
There's no wallet inside.
You can compile it by yourself or disassemble the release.
Or check if the devFee's are really being diverted to your wallet as expected.

Hi thanks for your work. As a miner paying dev fee is not an issue.  I feel we need performance increase tools , then maybe people will try it out :-)

Thank you for your support.

Confused why you did mention screenshot with fcking virustotal i dont trust antiviruses results at all. Isn't the source code enough?

Source code is obviously enough, but I provided that as a double-check for whoever wants to verify it.

Just the Ethpill scam with a new name.

Ethpill? I haven't even heard about it.

It's really a pity that people no longer believe on this kind of software, which took me weeks of development and extensive testing.

I do not believe you!
Do not download this miner, I think this is another virus, which is not yet detecting antiviruses.
If this is true, then wait for reviews from famous miners.

Have u tested it? Anyway, you can analyse the source and compile it from your side.

And to clarify: this is not a miner.

PhoenixMiner DevFee interceptor

What is this?
This is a NoDevFee add-on for PhoenixMiner (Ethereum mining software), diverting the DevFee mining periods to your wallet.

How does it work?
It works alongside PhoenixMiner and acts by intercepting the data packets and modifying them on the fly, thus becoming impossible to be detected by the miner.
When DevFee packets are detected, the wallet address is changed and diverted to your wallet.

How to check if NoDevFee is working correctly?
Look at your pool and check whether an eth1.0 worker appears after some time.

Is this a scam?
Of course not. We know the internet is full of NoDevFee scams. Our team made this software to help the community. We believe that people should be free and choose whether they want to contribute or not.

Does it contain virus?
Absolutely not. Here’s the virustotal report: https://antiscan.me/images/result/VUZgjtszgKoI.png

How to start it on boot before PhoenixMiner?
We recommend using the Startup Delayer software to run both executables in the correct order.

What can I do if the detected wallet address is incorrect?
Make sure you started PhoenixMiner interceptor before PhoenixMiner.
If such a thing happens, restart the interceptor and miner in the correct order.

Technical info
This interceptor uses the WinDivert lib (https://github.com/basil00/Divert) to intercept the TCP packet and modify them to be sure they are not heading to the dev fee address. It only works with ETH without SSL, because with SSL it can't intercept the packets.
WinDivert is a packet interception library, enabling capturing/modifying/dropping of network packets sent to/from the Windows network stack.

Requirements
NET Framework 4.7.2 Runtime

Compatible with PhoenixMiner up to 5.5c
