Re: Decrease Population

Why most poor countries have highest population growth instead of rich ones. Poverty has a direct relation to the population growth. In developing countries of Asia and Africa, child labor, slave trading and human trafficking is highly prevalent. African countries for example still have maximum reporting of slave trading though trading of humans is legally banned everywhere in the world. People give birth to kids and sell them to rich people who in turn employ these kids in various laborious and unethical tasks. If not sell, these parents force their kids to beg or work at a very tender so as to earn some extra money for the family. These people believe that more kids mean more hands for begging and work and thus more money. Without concrete measures for growth and poverty eradication, other methods of population control may prove to be ineffective.

While I only have a few non normal board games, like Hero Quest, I think I enjoy Monopoly the most. Something about it just seems to click with me. My own personal strategy is having the first two spots bought and get houses/hotels on them as quick as possible. For some reason they always seem to get me the win.

Re: Why are some countries still so rich and others so poor

More than two centuries ago, Adam Smith wrote the book that is generally credited with initiating the science of economics. The central question he addressed is contained in its title, An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations. What is amazing is how prescient Smith was. Almost everything he said 240 years ago is still true today. Modern economic studies are confirming it. Think of an economy as reflecting three fundamental features: capital, labor and what I will call the “efficiency factor.” A country’s stock of capital consists of machinery, buildings, land, etc. Labor consists of the country’s human resources that are used in production. The efficiency factor determines how well the country turns capital and labor into output.

Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply

In 2001, the output of widgets increases 20%. The Money supply increases 20%. Therefore, the average price of a widget stays at £0.50 (zero inflation) In 2002, the output of widgets increases 16.6% and money supply also increases 16.6%. Prices stay the same and the inflation rate is 0% However, in 2003, the output of widgets increases 14% but the money supply increases 42%. WIth the money supply increasing faster than output, there is a rise in nominal demand. In response to this rise in demand, firms put up prices and we get inflation.

Re: one piece is the best anime ever......

This anime should be only behind dragon ball Z. Dragon Ball z is number because it changed the way anime should be and opened the doors to One Piece itself. One Piece on the other hand took over from Dragon Ball Z and removed all the negatives of DBZ. There is no other anime that has a better story line, character development, story pregression logical progression and no inconsistencies in the story. Anybody who rate OP behind Naruto certainly has not seen OP in its entirety, yes it starts slow but damn it gets better and better, the most amazing thing about it is that the best is yet to come. Unlike anime that starts hot but fade as the author has ran out ideas trying to prolong the story resulting in diminished quality.

Re: How you deal with depression?

Depression is a disorder that is evidenced by excessive sadness, loss of interest in enjoyable things, and low motivation. It is normal to experience feelings of sadness and dispair in response to adverse life events. Such events could include loss, major life changes, stress, or disappointment. In most cases, the sad feelings resolve as you come to terms with the changes in your life. In situations such as bereavement, these feelings may persist for months and return at significant times, such as birthdays and anniversaries related to the lost loved one. Provided you have times when you can enjoy things, however, this sadness is not a sign of depression.

Progressive muscle relaxation, or PMR, is a technique that allows you to relax all of the muscles in your body, group by group. Beginning sessions take several minutes and allow you to feel physically and emotionally relaxed when done. With practice, you can achieve full-body relaxation within seconds.

Give yourself time to accept what has happened. There is no schedule for when you should feel certain emotions, or be over others. Choose to stand up for you and the rest of your life, and choose to move on.

Although Thunderbirds, Codenames, 7 Wonders, Glory to Rome, Avalon and Colt Express are all wonderful games, too.
