Just keep the contest on Twitter, it isn't professional to start over now. We should respect the deadline. It shouldn't take too long, you know. We should spend time doing serious things, like creating a road map. On Twitter it's only possible to create 4 options, that's why I set 3 rounds of voting and 1 final round. The 3 best will definitely go on to the final round. You only have 1 vote on Twitter, so as everyone likes C, the other ones wouldn't have had much votes, but as I said, it's only possible to create 4 options at a time. And the contest was on Twitter, everybody knew that. So there were 4 weeks time to participate. Untahorsten posted it first on Twitter, but deleted it then afterwards, that's his choice... All the candidates who added #dimecoinlogocontest are participating. They ones who follow us and doing it right should not be punished by the other ones now. It's like the people who are saying on Twitter: 'why no C??'... please take the time to read the tweets we post, before you say things like that. Thank you.

Then you will see your logo isn't there.
First the contest was here on the forum, I posted.
Then it was moved to twitter. On August the 16th I posted my proposal on twitter, it's still there. On August the 27th I thanked those that voted for my design.
Now I should have posted on #dimecoinlogocontest? What the fuck is going on?
I am truly confused. How many contests are there? One, two, three, eleven, more? Who is in charge?

I think the way zambinq started this coin is brilliant! A lot of coins but not to many. And, the best part is, only one coin per block! What does that mean? Nobody can fill their pockets and than leave the breadcrumbs for others. In other words, restrain the greed! There is enough, over time.
We miners really do have to commit and invest because over time it is the one-coin-per-block policy that will gain value. And time is of the essence. For miners there is something to mine, for years and years and years to come. For users and investors there is certainty that there will be miners always, certainty that due to the low but steady generation of coins it will keep its value, certainty that this coin is of no interest for pump-and-dump activities.
IMHO, this way of starting and running a coin (overall not to many coins with a one-coin-per-block policy) shows a professional intent. And yes, a lot has to be done, but, professional intent is what will attract participants that are professionals as well.
So, zambinq, don't change a thing, I'm on board, what do you need?

Just read on Reddit on the upcoming Mac & Andriod wallet, am very excited. I have a feeling that this will be one of my best investments. I am planning to hold long. Please do keep updating this thread with exciting news on the development & roadmap.

I am already working on wikipedia stuff for Dimecoin. There are some things that we can pull off only few coins did so far (don't want to wake sleeping dogs at this moment so trust me on this). However, for that to happen we have to start setting up things really serious. One of those things is the logo. By which I mean a symbol that can be used in reading and writing. Of course we can use slick art and the lot, but, if we want to serve the public, meaning that Dimecoins will be used more and more and more, we have to start acting professional.
People have to recognize the use of Dimecoins right away! Look at this: BTC. Need I say more? The same reaction has to be triggered when people see "the to be chosen Dimecoin logo" as a written character. Again, a logo is something different than a coin design, website layout and so one and so forth.
So, some professional suggestions (Yes, I'm cocky now...).
-First we choose a new logo and update/fit the wallet and website with the new logo.
-We (yes, all together) have to setup a road map.
-Provided the dev is in the position to realize this (Extra programmers? Other things...) a voting system (should)could be implemented.
-When looking at nordtyt his proposition(s) we could add a token-system only for use in the gaming area.
