Alright -- I've successfully overclocked the Z9 and I can now build flashable images so the modifications persist across reboot. I'll post a new thread in Altcoins later today with a link to the 575Mhz image that others can test with.
Thank you for keeping us posted as well as for documenting your process! I hope you'll add a link here to your Altcoins post when it goes up, very curious to try this out!

Z9's are showing up now.  So.. anyone know how to overclock of if these can be?  The max they run is 550m.  I wanna see them at 650m
I'm very skeptical we'll be able to overclock these, reason being there are 3 hashboards, not 4 (maybe I'm the only one who presumed that it'd be 4, given it was 4 times the speed of a Mini?), and each of these boards is running about 15 KSols/s.  In effect, I think we're dealing with the equivalent of three overclocked Z9 Minis in one box, so there's no where to go.  Obviously I could be way off (I'd prefer that, actually) but so far, I'm not hopeful.
