Bitcoin is Bitcoin. I still wonder why dooglus moved away from Bitcoin!
He was smart enough to see the writing on the wall. So instead of letting a govt. agency crackdown and potentially seize his players funds he made the decision to switch to a smaller alt that gave people a lower cost (free if you dig them) way to get into the game and have fun. Not to mention 60k BTC is a lot of weight on the shoulders of one man and his Deb! Tongue I myself do miss the BTC gambling days on Just-Dice, but gambling with CLAM has been a fun ride as well. Of course you get the benefit as an investor to have your CLAM stake to help minimize potential losses by anyone that wins big.

I challenge any of you to come play with CLAM on just-dice and checkout the newer features of the site and not enjoy yourself doing it.. I will even give you CLAM to start with (please mention this thread and don't just ask for it --might get you muted)  Cheesy

I am not interested to use clam because this not widely accepted, very hard to use clam for me but bitcoin is more flexible to use, on JD i played long time ago when it was used only bitcoin for betting but when it converted to clamcoin dice, I am not playing there even it is very popular dice site.
Is your fear that you will not be able to buy / sell back to BTC if you convert to CLAM? I myself have executed larger BTC -> CLAM (gamble) -> BTC trades upwards of 20 BTC at a time OTC. The onsite /tip and /escrow functions allow for safe transactions without paying the exchange fee's. I was the same when I first came back to Just-Dice.. I used to ONLY gamble, but now I do a bit of both and earn a nice piece of the staking rewards to help back my CLAM investment.

Would like to hear from others on this as well!

Thank you to all that have sponsored this raffle, and a great idea to have it on such a significant time in the crypto community! Now you have me wanting to try and do a "Milestone Giveaway" over at Just-Dice.com based around the Bitcoin halving -- ponders how to pull this off so that it is provably fair. Minerjones, I appreciate you including me in the list as well. In a show of faith, I will try and make a greater attempt to pepper my opinions around the community more often  Cheesy

Hello,

one ticket please

thanks!

lol no

This guy just signed up and this is his first post.... Roll Eyes

I'll take "ba" "bd" or "60" -- in that order please ;-) **winner winner chikun dinner**

Look at this guys half a year posting gaps....

To be fair, I have been a part of the crypto community since March of 2013 when I bought my first butterfly labs pos that shipped in November of that year after much hype and much delay. I am a moderator over at Just-Dice.com and am willing to provide proof of this. I have followed the forums for a long time; but up until last year never had a "reason" to post I suppose. I have verified accounts with BTC-E, Coinbase, Circle, Gemini, Poloniex, and Bitstamp and execute trades on a near day to day basis. I can count off at least 10 names from the list currently on the raffle that I personally know from my time spent in the Just-Dice community, and it is these same people that brought the list to my attention.

If my "newbie" posting status on the forums is the only indication of my involvement in crypto you care about, then I suppose I have little to no involvement that is measurable by the standards of a forum that is open to viewing. Too bad the forums didn't give credit for hours spent viewing the forums and only gives credit to people that pepper every post with their opinions. I would love to be given a chance on the list, and as always am willing to provide whatever proof of my existence in this community you feel is necessary :-)

On that labored note... I wish you all luck in the raffle!

Re: [POLL] Best Dice of 2015

Call it a personal bias, but I have tried a number of dice sites but I always found myself coming back to the one that set the bar for every other dice site that came after. And of course that one was Just-Dice! Things have changed a bit, more backend features and now it uses the coin CLAM; but if people ever wanted to play OTC trades in and out of CLAM from BTC are offered using the built in /escrow feature to protect those that do not want to "invest" in the coin and just want to play for 'ol time sake :-)

J-D rocks my socks!

Maybe I´m betting that dooglus will continue running the site for a few more years  Grin

I think there are a number of others in the same boat. On a side note, Dooglus you have Comkort hotlisted on JD as an exchange but on their website they show this message:

Quote

In light of these event ALL users have to withdraw their funds before July 19th, 2015 inclusively. July 20th, 2015 we will suspend servers which will deactivate all the wallets and all further withdrawals will be technically impossible.
