Sorry, there was no mention that this was to fund just half the loan that you wanted to take. I was under the impression that this would be the full loan. Plus I realized that there is an additional 0.2 BTC outstanding here.

You did good job on declining it as this is probably scam attempt. Sorry OP but nobody will loan you withou collaterall.
This seems to be a likely example of a confidence scam.
It appears the OP is taking out loans in escalating sizes. I am not saying this is 100% the case but it does have signs of this. I would put the chances of repayment near 15% at best.
^^ I understand this, but you need to know something not everyone out there is a scammer , all the loans that i have ever received on this forum have all been repaid.
But everyone is free to make their own choice to loan me the btc or not.

The interest rate that i have metnioned here is for the remaining 0.25 btc but yours is still 15%.
