Basically impossible to make bets now with the max button gone. Even if you do manage to find a stake that is low enough to be accepted, there is now a 'pending' timer for non-live bets now?

All bets are now very time-consuming, even those placed pre-game. Furthermore, the 'max bet' button has disappeared, making it extremely challenging to wager higher amounts. These changes seem contrary to the claim that you are improving the site. It's worse, much worse.
