I am surprised that no one mentioned Byteball.
With its DAG and witness system, it's innovating in all fronts, without choosing the easy path of being a copy of Bitcoin, or trying to mimic what Bitcoin already does.

It's also integrating with WCG (World Community Grid), to support a series of scientific researches in different fields of knowledge.

Re: I inform about the coins which are about to grow!

I want to share information about my crypto portfolios with people. We work as a team to create the best investment crypto portfolio aimed at money making. I made a decision to create a channel where I will simply record all my actions done to manage my crypto portfolio.
We select coins carefully monitoring all upcoming events and see if the coin has a good idea behind it. We receive info from altcoins twitter accounts and other resources right after it’s been published. We have a clue about events causing growth and know when it’s going to happen. After the coin grows against the background of the event, we lock in our profits in another coin which we also expect to grow.
Link to the channel in telegrams - @cryptohamstereng
You say "we", so I guess it's a team. Could you share information about the background of people involved. How good are they at studying the technical side of these cryptos, like consensus mechanisms and distribution methods?

Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
by

on 02/02/2018, 07:44:46 UTC
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
Well, creating your own wallet and making payments with Bitcoin doesn't require specific levels of education, but not having some level of knowlegde about how Bitcoin works can lead you to mistakes, and that can cost you a lot of money.

Re: can I make 100$ in 2-3 month without a base money?

I think there are people who manage to do that in much less than a month though signature campaigns.

However, one should say that there isn't zero cost in anything you do. In that specific case, you're spending time, energy and electricity.

I would love to hear from the community what is the perfect cryptocurrency in their opinion. In terms of scam free, value potential and sustainability.

What are your thoughts?
There are a few cryptocurrencies that I wouldn't call a scam: Monero, Litecoin, Byteball...

But there is no such thing as perfect cryptocurrency. Even monero, which has very solid fundamentals, and adds fungibility, loses to Bitcoin in the decentralization aspect.

Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years?
by

If statistics regarding Bitcoin growth are correct, the Bitcoin userbase will have more than quadrupled. And this period of time is more than enough for another halving, so I would say Bitcoin will be worth more than 15 thousand dollars.

Re: How to control greed on gambling?
by
vegito
on 01/10/2017, 11:30:07 UTC
If you are feeling greedy, the right thing to do is not to gamble at all. This kind of game is designed to make greedy people lose money. People who play for fun, on the other hand, have less chances of losing a lot of money, since they do not feel pressured to play over and over again.

Re: Bitcoin just an asset ?
by

At the current state, it's more an asset, but not only an asset. People are already using it to exchange things around the world, which means it is already a currency.

Re: As BTC raises..ETH will fall!
by
vegito
on 26/09/2017, 11:46:12 UTC
I am trying to find the connection why the fall of ETH as percent is higher than BTC!

There is this hidden gathering of limiting btc supplies....while offering too much ETH!

Agree ..Disagree?
The results in the last few months show a direct correlation between Bitcoin rise and Ethereum rise. But I'm sure this can't last forever.

It's only a matter of time before some of those Ethereum millionaires start cashing out to put money in the most stable store of value, which is Bitcoin.

Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token?
by
vegito
on 21/09/2017, 15:21:21 UTC
The way they call it doesn't change what Bitcoin is. The problem is that it brings confusion for the average user. Calling it a currency, a digital currency or a cryptocurrency tells them more what it's all about.

No, it suits better for the altcoins that don't even have a working product.

Calling it an asset or currency suits better. It gives an idea of something that is not only scarce, but also valuable and that has very important use cases.

Re: Will Bitcoin Mining Farm in China be Closed?
by
vegito
on 21/09/2017, 13:13:58 UTC
As we know, mining has become a highly specialized busisses, which means these guys take it seriously.

Miners will continue to mine while there is money to be made, whether legally or illegally. Some of them may also leave the country.
Hopefully they leave it fast, because the way things go, the next step is china banning miners from leaving china. lol

Maybe in ten years or so. Don't expect to see each merchant accepting Bitcoin before we have features making transactions much faster, such as Lightning Network. After that, we need to heavily promote Bitcoin, to make merchants see its potential.

Interesting read. I think Bitcoin can help lessen the world's poverty, in fact this is already happening, but it's happening at a very slow pace, the biggest change has to come from people themselves.

The house makes money when people are losing, so I think it's in their interest to make it less likely that users will make money on it, that's why I think that's not a good idea, unless you're really into it for fun.
