Potential. Trust. What team do they have behind them?

When too many people start to talk about the coins then its time to consider when to get out...

Re: Why do so many different hundreds of sources say that Tron TRX is a scam?
by

Calm down. Most people are just frustrated because they didnt profit from the TRX ride last month. They are jaloux and therefore they twist everything to make it look like its a scam.

Justin Sun would not dare to ruin his name on a scam coin.

That it might be overvalued now, is another discussion. But its def not a scam.

At the top, TRX was 50 times the value I started with Smiley

But its hard to HODL. There have been so many times people have screamed sell, dump it, it cant rise more. Well it did Smiley

When you reach 5-10 times the original prize, then you just want to collect your profits whenever it seems to dump

Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin?

I met this crazy guy some years back, who was always talking about Bitcoin and how he put money into it, mining and blabla. Well, it all sounded very interesting but also me and my friends thought it was just some hobby without and real profits.

A few years later I start noticing the same guy posting all his boat pictures etc. - then I started being more interested Tongue

He had around 100 bitcoins back then

Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends?
by

well nothing last forever

I think Bitcoin - as a technology - will live for a very long time. Its a natural step in our internet age.

If BitCoin - as a coin - will survive is much harder to say. In the end it might loose to a superior coin. Technology gets better all the time after all, and its a quite young field.

I really like Ripple and Verge. I think they will grow a lot in the new year.

What do people think of TRX? There have been a lot of hype about it in December, but do you still think its a good investment?

Well if you consider that as stealing.

Then stock exchange trading is also stealing.

And then its also stealing to put money in the bank and collect interests...

Experience tells me that if you dont give money away while you have a little, you will never start giving just because you are rich...

being rich is relative anyway. For some people you are rich, if you just have a laptop and can access this page Tongue

Bitcoin is money like every other kind of money. There is no bigger or smaller obligation to give it to charity.

Re: Bitcoin Is Now Climbing Back Again !!
by

Its always the same. Bitcoin falls a bit due to some random fluctuation and suddenly all the (new) investors starts panicking and call it end of days, and to get out of it. Then it falls and people realize its not the end anyway, and new investors come running to get a piece of the cake.

Game as usual

Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry?

I am quite sure we will run out of oil faster than the decrease in the demand.

PEople have talked about electrical cars for many years, but the fact is still that only a small percentage of cars are electrical. The oil supplies are not limitless, and we use oil for a lot of other things.

I dont smoke weed.

It might not be unhealthy in itself....

but when I went to school some of my classmates where smoking. And they were never themselves, so I promised myself I would never try it. Because I really dont want to act as stupid as everyone who is under the influence of weed.

My classmates started stronger drugs shortly after and I lost contact with them

I got an education

Thats life

Re: Day trade or Hodling
by

on 26/12/2017, 21:30:45 UTC
Lets be honest. Day trading is very difficult, and requires a lot of skills. Only a few people have the necessary skills to turn it into a real profit. Mostly you will end up getting trapped in a pump-dump scheme - or loose your money to fees. Of course you can give it a go, but be honest to yourself and admit that you are very likely not among the few skilled in that kind of business.

A lot of people loose money, because they think they have som God-given skill... too much confidence is never a good thing

Re: How to explain bitcoin to childrens? ???
by
vestenvinden
on 26/12/2017, 21:22:03 UTC
I think we often underestimate kids. Kids are not so conservative in their way of thinking as grown ups, and its often easier for them to understand concepts like BitCoin.

I have found that its often a lot easier to explain a 14 year old about Bitcoins, than a grown up. Grown ups are in general not so open minded ...

Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder?
by
vestenvinden
on 26/12/2017, 20:35:07 UTC
I think the two main risks are:

1) Getting Hacked - The risk can be greatly reduced, by using secure WiFi and protecting your computer etc.

Im actually not super worried about this, as the 256 bit encryption is as good as it gets + 2 step verification on your wallet should keep you safe.

2) BitCoin Crash - To wake up some day, and everyone is selling because society for some reason lost hope in it

Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money?
by

The demand is high. A lot of websites are selling out with fees of 6-8 %. Last year it was only geeks and dreamers who invested, this year is the commoner. People are talking about it everywhere now, its in the media all the time etc. and its very In to say you own bitcoins.
