price spike of January 2018

So I haven't found anyone's remarks on this most recent spike in prices.  My question is:  does anyone one have any idea as to what may have caused the price spike in the alt-coins for these first two weeks of 2018??

It happened for most, if not all of the alt-coins I own (except for bitcoin of course), plus I looked up others that I don't own and found the same spike.

So, wth happened?  Was it the end of the year buying spree over in China?  Did the big banks decide to start buying up every alt-coin?  Did some big bitcoin whale decide to diversify?  Was it another outrageous bet made by McAfee?

Does anyone else find it odd that there is no wallet for this coin?  Maybe its a secret wallet?

Is there an explorer for this coin?

What is its current circulation? (is it really at 100 trillion, or is that just its final circulation?)

If somebody send Btx to my encrypted wallet, can i decrypt the wallet after 12 hours for example and to receive these coins with no problems, i mean is there some period after which the transaction will be cancelled if we dont decrypt the wallet?
there is no relation between encrypted wallet and receiving coins.
even if you don't sync your wallet, your address would still receive coins just fine no matter what
just that when you're not synced you won't see it in your wallet (but it's there)
and you have to decrypt your wallet for awhile to be able to send out coins
I never encrypt my wallet, so I'm not 100% sure about decrypt before sending coins
I'd always recommend encrypting the wallet to avoid getting your coins accidentally stolen.  Tongue

If the wallet is encrypted then you'll need to enter the password to send coins out of the wallet.

I'm not sure that there is any feature that allows anyone to decrypt a wallet once its been encrypted (maybe you meant something different?).

makes no sense
I'm waiting almost a month already with a 15k stake.

this wallet with less than 5x the amount of coins I have staked before.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/b3/address.dws?SjBEKeFAARGVoXPRk9iLJQhNf2wMru938Q.htm

on the other hand, giant wallets stake daily and gets all the compound effect...

is there anything possible to do to stake faster?
changing for the new wallet would change anything?
I hit a stake already but only one...

Staking is a lottery, and with 15k today there is almost no chance against big wallets. You may consider joining the staking pool found in Discord channel.
So, what might be a decent amount to have for solo staking?
