[WTS] Futurebit Apollo BTC package
by

I have three Apollo BTC devices. One is a full node package and the other two are only hashboards. I will also include two PSUs, one is an 850 watt and the other is 650 watt. They work great, but I am getting out of the mining game. Message me for more details.

I have 1 full package and 2 standard miners and two PSUs (850 watt and 650 watt) that I’m looking to sell. I don’t want a trade. Send me a message if you’re interested.

Back to my earlier question, which got lost in the shuffle:

Any updated to when LN will be available?

I haven't seen any more mention of when Lightning Node will be available. When can we expect that to be a part of the build?

Does anyone have the diagram for how the DC-DC convertor connects to the rest of the board? I burnt out the original one, and when removing it, ended up pulling off some of the solder pads. To put the new one on, I need to know where I can connect the repair pads. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

OS/Controller? (i.e. are you running it with a raspberry pi? windows computer, etc)

Also, are the lights coming one when you apply power? Mine just died, but its my fault. I took power off and then re-applied it too quickly. I'm pretty sure I broke the Murata power module. At least that's what it seems like after replacing the 16v Capacitor and running a bunch of other voltage tests on it. We will see when the new module comes in.

Anyways, try and be more specific on the circumstances associated with it going zombie and your setup. That's really the best way to ask for help.

After upgrading the Power suppies:

1 Controller and 3 stand alones.       Power 95,  but I left Fequency at 54.

14.7 Th/s  and 73 w/TH/s

Power supply upgrade resulted in almost a 25% increase in accepted Hash on my Pool.

I may have missed it earlier, but what PSU are you using?

Anyone have an R606 stop powering up? There's a clicking sound when power is applied, but nothing else. I think it's the 1000 micro farad capacitor, sticking out from the bottom of the board, but I can't be sure. I don't have access to my tools or DMM to test anything.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

FYI, I bought this one used, but it's been working fine for the last few months.

How many hash boards do you think you can run off of one full apollo node?

Just want to take a moment here to thank you guys taking part in this movement, because FutureBit is not just some consumer hardware company making toy miners but it truly is a movement enabled by all you guys.

https://bitnodes.io/nodes/?q=Satoshi:0.21.1

So cool to see those Apollo user agents dominating that list

Hundreds of nodes have come online, and thousands more will once they are done syncing (and make sure you are all forwarding those 8333 ports!)

I am beyond humbled in seeing this play out in real time, and I take my hat off to everyone sitting there running these on their desks, not because its profitable, not because its cool, but because you truly believe in what Bitcoin is and should be and we are all taking the first step in reclaiming some balance back from these power hungry, greed seeking, centralized entities/individuals that have entrenched themselves in and are trying to soil the true vision of what Bitcoin is

We have a ways to go but the Future of Bitcoin is looking bright Smiley

Can't wait for the next batch to be up for sale!

Now I'm just waiting for the next batch to get released. I heard about this thing way too late. I know I said I would rather not pre-order, but you all have changed my mind about the Apollo.

Update?

But a preorder link would be way better  Wink
I agree. sidehack's gear has been phenomenal so far, and I trust the product. Even though Apollo looks, and based on reviews on here, sounds like a good product, I truck the gekkoscience brand and would gladly pre-order if it would help get new gekkoscience gear to us home miners.

Would love to hear from Sidehack about future product dreams.

I was just thinking the same thing. I thought I saw in the Apollo BTC thread that sidehack mentioned a new project is in the works. If so, put me on the pre-order list.

Re: More China Craziness - "Cracking done on mining"

This is really about the CCP's need to control its populace. crypto-currencies remove the government's hand in financial transactions, which threatens the entire communist system. I really don't think there's a conspiracy to manipulate the crypto market, but rather to exert more control over their population. Chinese citizens are already required to report other Chinese abroad that are doing anything that could threaten the CCP. Look at Hong Kong, they cracked down on the independent democratic government there. This is the real power of BTC, and by getting this message out there, we can hopefully reverse the negative trend that's hit the market recently.
